[Lea had awoken in some sort of capsule that felt just a little bit too much like a coffin for his comfort. Aside from what he'd already had on him, there was a box with a few random items in it, though reading over the included pamphlet had prompted more annoyance and suspicion than anything else, as he quickly decided that wherever this 'Genessia' world was, he wanted no part of it. The necklace and other objects were left in the capsule as he stood on the shore and opened a Dark Corridor...
...Only to find that he simply passed through it as if it weren't there. Several more attempts in different areas of the bay yielded the same results. He sighed; the hard way it was then. He waded out into the water and began swimming back the way he'd apparently come. But about halfway to what looked like the other end of the bay, he found himself butting up against an invisible barrier. Swimming right, left, and attempting to dive under it all proved fruitless; he simply couldn't go any further.
With no other choice, he turned and swam back to shore, emerging from the water now doubly irritated by virtue of being both annoyed and wet. Luckily a little fire magic- at least that still worked- dried him out fairly quickly. But it seemed that he was stuck here for the moment. Just wonderful. With a sigh, he retrieved the items he'd left in the capsule and headed out into the city proper.]
[It was a relatively short time later that the city's other residents got their first look at Lea, as he appeared on the network, sitting on a bench and rather sulkily eating an ice cream bar.]
So... Genessia, huh? Can't say it's a world I've ever heard of. Seems like a nice place at least, as far as prisons go.
Anyway, name's Lea. Got it memorized? Just got here and unsurprisingly, I've got a few questions. And the two most important ones at the moment are 'who' and 'why'. Namely, who apparently kidnapped us all, and why are they keeping us here? That little tidbit of information seems to be lacking in any of these pamphlets or the greeting hologram.

They are. They've saved the world more than once by now, and are gearing up to try and do it again, with me on the right side of it this time.
And he's a bit of both. A lot of people know him, and he's a friend of mine. We kinda got off to a rough start, but Sora's the kind of person who's easy to make friends with. He just... connects to people, half the time without even really trying.

You were opposing them at first?
I see. I know some people like that. They're really special.

And yeah, I was part of a group called Organization XIII. They had their own agenda- more than a few of them, as it turned out-, but none of their activities meant anything good for Sora and his friends. I kinda had a... falling out with them when they ordered me to eliminate my best friend, and about a dozen bad decisions later, I finally got my act together and wound up coming to Sora's rescue. And I've been working on turning over a new leaf ever since.
Yeah, they are. Even back when I was with the Organization, I could tell; there's just something about him.

Deflecting isn’t bad if it’s for a better cause. You realizes what was wrong in time, that’s a good thing. We had people form the Empire join the Rebellion too. Good men that were following the wrong cause, it happens.

[He finishes his ice cream, then holds the phone back far enough that K2 can see his right arm stretched out in front of him. Lea attempts to summon his Keyblade, hoping it doesn't decide to be stubborn, and in a flash of light it appears in his hand. He holds the blade and the phone at a few different angles to give K2 a good look.]
Pretty nice, eh? Just got it a little while before I came here.
[He dismisses the Keyblade and angles the phone back to a more normal view. He rubs the back of his head awkwardly though at K2's assertion that he was a good man who'd just fallen into following the wrong cause.]
Truth be told, I'd known it was wrong for awhile. It just took something like that for me to care enough to put something above my own safety. The Organization wasn't really the kind of group that accepted resignations, if you know what I mean.

I've never seen anything like it before. I like it and the colors suit you.
[He know people make mistakes and there's nothing wrong with that as long as they manage to fix them.]
Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I too belonged to an evil organization before my reprogramming. They're the sort of places you can't just quit and start anew.

But thanks. About that, and the Keyblade. Took a lot of work and a lot of help to turn me into Keyblade-wielding material; they're kind of particular about their owners, and not just anybody can use one.
