Whut's the most interesting thing from your world?

I'll start - which is The Lion King and The Muppets Christmas both brillantly done pieces of human filmography.

Lion King?

Ah, rats. If you know anything to do with Christmas, you already know the most interesting thing that happened on Earth. Based our calendars on it.

She had been watching the sky, trying to calm herself down. A new world, a new place, she'd done this before, it should be easy. But going from learning how to handle nothing but the void of space all around you, to only seeing a limited amount of the star field was terrifying, and the lack of the underlying thrum of engines was enough to make her heart sound too loud. She knew she'd have to figure out how to sleep on a planet again, but for the moment, it was out of reach. So she was watching something else out of reach... the stars.

At least until a bright blue object flew across the sky. She knew that there was no reason for her heart to jump to her throat. No way Blue, and Lance, could be there. But she was on her feet calculating the things trajectory before that logic could kick in. Chasing it down. She knew there would be no enthusiastic Paladin jumping from a giant lion to pull her into a rough hug and demand why she went and got herself lost here, but she had to make sure.

Her asthma was trying to kick her ass by the time she found where it had landed, and she stopped not far away, breathing heavily and trying to control herself. "I-Is anyone in there? Are you alright?" She asked, since she had chased it down, she might as well make sure no one had gotten hurt. She could blame the tears in her eyes on her asthma, rather than the sinking feeling of her heart going down to her gut at the loss of that barely there hope that one of her companions had found her.

Are you feeling better? You did have me worried...

[She pauses before continuing.]

Ten meanwhile is frustrated, to say the least, and feels more and more like a creature trapped in a rather large cage. At least - at the very least he has somewhere to hide now. Where no one will look to bother -

That is when The Doctor hears a voice outside the Tardis door. Oh bugger. Not as stealthy as he thought he had been now.

Someone saw him fly or land it seems and slowly approaches the door and opens it. Just enough to slide out and hide anything behind him.

"Hallo..." He notes the tears in her eyes, oh dear. They didn't think that he was someone else, did they and eyes her sympathetically with his brown eyes.

"Can I help you?"

Oh, I love Christmas. [Really big grin]

Whut calendars would those be and how?

Not really no. I don't usually need sleep. Before that night I met you - [A pause] it was quite a while since I last slept.

[Like a life or two ago; literally. There was when Nine regenerated into his current form but before that - it was awhile]

I learned during that time when the spirits were loose that this world operates on sacrifices. Apparently, last time the barrier broke a group of individuals gave up something to heal the barrier.

I gave my ability to not really require rest to have something...

[which makes him more human; which he's not overly fond of; since without his time sight he already was going in that direction but it's one of his abilities he could do without the easiest]

Are you alright? It isn't healthy to sleep all the time either.

She took another breath or so before standing up fully, still barely topping five feet, but trying to look confidant.

"Yes... I saw this... ship?" She pauses for a moment as if to show that she was a little confused but plowed on. "flying, and it looked a bit out of control. I wanted to make sure that no one was hurt in a crash landing or anything." She admitted.

It was true, she had been worried, since she knew it couldn't have been Blue, or Lance, so she had followed out of concern for others. The little hope had not changed her decision at all, but she wasn't going to bring that up. "Are you? Alright I mean."

[Ten is noting that she took the non human thing rather well]

Yes. I'll be fine. Once I adjust to needing to rest every day.

[A pause; he looks as if he's debating on how much to tell her]

[She can't help but worry a little. They are friends after all.]

I don't know about that.

[Especially that the Pokemon phenomenon just ended a few months ago.]

But if you want, they simply serve as capturing tools to any wild Pokemon as well a storage device to the ones you've owned already.

I will make sure to keep a mental note for the next time it happens... Or if something major happens. Whatever comes first.

Is there anything in particular you bring to the table that would make you stand out from the dozens of other helpful individuals that would make you more reliable in a situation than someone else?

There are a lot of good people here, she needs to know what their strengths are so she knows who to call on for particular situations. You don't call a plumber to fix an electrical issue. ]
