18th Aura | Video

[Jaune is sitting in his office at Nova City's Guardian Skyrise. When the video starts, he's blaring some loud, classical rock music with unintelligible lyrics, which he quickly turns down. Oops. There's a lengthy looking scroll on his desk and you can see interesting decorating choices such as empty redbull cans, action figures of the other guardians and deputies that look like they were in mid-fight with the Weiss one on top of a book, and a chew toy.]

I think I mentioned before looking for a weapons expert. I kind of rushed into it when I asked that, when I should have spent time mastering and re-learning the basics.

Also, I don't think my armor's going to work for much longer. [He's not wearing it right now. It's way too hot for that.] I got a lot of good answers about breaking rocks, but I've finished the design since then, but I don't want to leave it with just anyone.

So, do you have any favorite blacksmiths? Even better, is anyone who's still here one?

[He may be underestimating his opponent a little bit.]

[Jaune's lips thin an his jaw tightens. He's used to being underestimated by friends, enemies, even here he still occasionally experienced it while doing a bounty. Compared to fighters as powerful as Grievous and Garrus, or ones as gracefully deadly as Weiss, he came across as rather...ordinary.

But he didn't expect it from a fellow deputy who wasn't Mercury or Satsuki. He's hit a nerve, and without warning, a scream builds up in his throat and he goes charging at Grievous. His gauntlet-protected right hand glows blue with raw water dust as he tries aiming a punch right at the other deputy's face.]

[generalgrievous]

[For a being so large, Grievous is surprisingly quick. In the short time it takes Jaune to charge, the General has ducked down on all fours and scuttled like a crab to the side. But he instantly rises to full height again, taking out two lightsabers. Perhaps Jaune is taking this very seriously, he thinks. He doesn't understand the offence he just caused.]

[Grounding himself, Jaune takes a deep breath and focuses his aura into the dust, firing two bursts of water in quick succession at each of the lightsabers. He's attempting to knock them out of Grievous' hands.]

[Action] Sorry for the slow!!

[One does go flying, fizzling out so the hilt merely clatters harmlessly to the floor. He tightens his grip on the second then stalks forward menacingly.]
