[Third Shot]
A] [Action] Fortuna Palace
Faye was keeping pretty busy here as a game dealer. It was a job she'd done before, and a job that she could do very well. It was difficult not being able to join in and win all the money herself, but what she could do was screw over anyone that was being rude or gross towards her. She had a certain sleight of hand, undetected by the vast majority of people. For her role in the casino, Faye was always impeccably dressed - that was part of the fun - and she didn't mind winding down at the bar at the end of the shift, happily allowing others to buy drinks for her.
B] [Video]
Faye appears on screen, leaning into the camera with a choice amount of cleavage on show. "Hey, anyone out there any good with paint jobs on bikes? Even better if you can come to me, or collect the bike. I mean, having a vehicle is great and all - it works fine - but like hell am I riding a pink motorcycle through the city." Then, for good measure, she follows that up with a really rather charming grin and a wink.

[Action]
Uneventful night at the game floor?
[ She asks to get Faye's attention. With them standing a few feet apart, both dressed fancy, all eyes seem to be drawn towards the bar. Ayame remembers their first meeting after the breach, and while it's not unfriendly nor Faye was hostile to her, it was under a situation that's not very fun. Ayame tries to be friendly in her tone and demeanor as she crosses one leg over the other ]
Hello again, Faye. Your dress looks wonderful on you. I'm almost upset I didn't make it.
[Action]
Hmm. You could say that.
*Faye glanced the woman over again - she seemed to know what her game was, dressed like that in a place where men are foolish with their money. Faye smirks at the compliment, eyes flashing as she takes a sip of her drink*
It looks far better on me than it did in the store.

[ They both are quite gifted, but Faye's got that aura of danger that's absent in Ayame's more composed and dignified mannerisms. Ayame compliments Faye quite straightforwardly, but more so in a professional sense as a tailor. Though she'll be lying to herself if she says Faye's figure isn't alluring and pleasing to glance at. The other woman's sense of style is something she can respect ]
I'm sorry if we didn't get to meet on such laid-back circumstances, and without Dante. I hope we can start over. In fact, I operate a tailor shop in Genessia City. You should come and stop by, should you feel the desire for a new dress.
[ Ayame's attention is focused on Faye, and quite frankly she's not in the mood for any trouble tonight. She just want to win at poker, take her loot, and go home. But in the background, a criminal group is setting up for a heist. They stand separately from each other, blending in with the crowd and waiting for the ample time that the armored truck carrying the money from the casino to depart and head to the bank, which would be in approximately five minutes. ]

It wasn't the best of situations, no. I mean, there I was, triumphant winner of sexiest female, and I barely got the chance to bask in my glory for the evening.
*She pouted a little a bit that - clearly she was expecting a much more enjoyable evening rather than the one she got*
Though I'm glad that you weren't just some drunk girl being dragged home by her boyfriend.
*Which is totally what she orginally thought was going on with Ayame and Dante - she didn't have much respect for women who got in such a mess that men had to pull them around*
Hmm, I think I'll take you up on that. Next time there's an event, I'll see what you can rustle up for me.
*For now, Faye also appears just to be relaxing, enjoying her evening and taking her time with a drink. To anyone watching, she doesn't appear to have any means of protecting herself, quite open to unwanted attention*

[ "Boyfriend". That word amuses Ayame a little, making her blush and chuckle softly at the thought. Their relationship is purely beneficial, so she really couldn't call him that. But it's nice to imagine Dante being romantic. She was momentarily distracted by the sound of an energy gun powering up in the distance.
That rising hum sounds so familiar that her subconscious picks it up out of all the other noises in the casino.
She doesn't do anything for the moment. It seems the thieves are keeping subtle for now as well, waiting for the prime opportunity. Ayame watches the lone man from earlier, looking at his watch. From the sound of it, he's the one with the energy weapon ]
Say, before I give you my business card, are energy weapons allowed in the premises?
[ It most definitely isn't, especially military-grade ones from the sound of it. But Ayame wanted to look casual, and not make it seem she's on to anyone's business. In a low voice, she speaks to Faye: ]
At your six. There's a man in a grey suit and a black shirt, looking at his watch. I think he's here to steal from the casino.

Faye frowns at the mention of the weapons and gives a small shake of her head. She listens carefully to Ayame but doesn't turn. Instead, she just reaches for her clutch sitting on the stool beside her, and pulls it closer.
She turns her back on the man and faces Ayame, appreciating and joining in on the keeping it casual idea*
How interesting. How long should I give him before I turn and shoot him?
*Faye smiles and her voice is soft - to anyone observing, the two women were just having a nice conversation*
no subject
[ Ayame answers, listening in on the conversation between the man and another one, leaning on a post not too far from him. Like Ayame and Faye, they're talking to each other while pretending to just be having a normal conversation. Ayame opens a very small portal right by Faye, looking like a holographic display that's common around Nova City. The portal allowed Faye to listen in on the conversation:
"Just heard that the truck with the cash is leaving the casino now. An extra caravan of robocops is protecting it. The couple of bounty hunters didn't get to all the droids, so the banks are on high alert. They want to protect the money going in and out a little better"
"We don't wanna make things that easy now, do we?"
"Heh, no we don't. Better get going. Fire escape B. You'll find a crate there with your rig."
The man was handed something before nodding and leaving, heading towards the fire exit. While the second man waited a few seconds before leaving and heading towards an opposite direction. They weren't alone, as more people followed the second man towards the casino's front exit. It doesn't make much sense from the perspective of Ayame and Faye, but the man in the grey suit seems to be the point man of this heist, while the second man is a step above the rankings of their little group. ]
Fire exit B. Isn't that the employee parking garage?
[ Ayame asks with a quick sip of her drink. It seems like they're going for a ride if they want to chase these fools. Ayame is fine just leaving things to the cops, but she gets the feeling Faye wouldn't. A part of her does want to get involved directly, as a feeling of excitement gives her blood a rush she haven't felt in a while. Her question and the glance that came with it implied to ask Faye if she wants to stretch her legs and kick some ass this fine evening. Whatever decision Faye reaches, Ayame shows she's willing to play along, and even initiated with this plan to split up: ]
Seems like now might be a good time for you to get going before he gets to that "rig". Whatever it is. I'll see what the others are up to.
[ Ayame empties her drink, nodding to the bartender before getting off of her chair at the bar. She gives Faye a gentle touch on the shoulder and a knowing look as she takes her phone out of her purse, as if to say "Stay in contact" before finally walking away ]

Faye is more than happy to go along with this, needing some excitement herself. With a warm smile, revealing nothing to anyone watching, Faye says goodbye to Ayame. Then she reaches for her own purse, double checking her gun was still inside. Satisfied, Faye makes her way straight there, checking her hair and make up on the way. She had to be a distraction, and a possible damsel in distress after all*

"You thought I wasn't onto you, huh?" The man spoke, revealing himself to be wearing some sort of power armor suit with a steamlined jetpack that lets him float near the top of the ceiling, looking down on Faye with those inhuman "eyes" on his visor. But time is of the essence, so he can't stay and fight Faye, as much as he would have wanted to eliminate a witness.
"It's been fun, doll. Shame I didn't catch your name, but oh well. Let's do this again in hell" the man promised with a digitized voice, soaring through the stone and steel of the ceiling like it was only a minor obstacle, debris falling on to the ground near Faye.
Meanwhile, Ayame contacts Faye just after the man took flight. ]
Faye, status. I heard a crash from the direction of the parking space.
no subject
She is ready to pull out her gun when the guy makes it clear that he's more interested in a swift exit. She lifts an arm over her head to protect from the debris, yelling out all manner of insults. She sounds thoroughly frustrated in her reply to Ayame*
The fuckers are on jetpacks. Some kind of armour too. He's bust through the ceiling like it's paper!

And what's wrong with pink?
*She grins, clearly pleased with this arrangement*
He is a very good boy. I didn't ask why it was pink, though - probably belonged to some girl of his.
[Watch kay reach to the wrong assumption after hearing that 'good boy'.]
And now it's yours. Were you dating?
*At that, Faye makes a noise of confusion and raises a brow as she leans into the camera*
Eh?? Dating? Uh, no. I live in his apartment; that's how our relationship rolls.
[Kay is just curious!]
I see. Is he not your type then?
*It sounds like she's challenging him, though she knows very little about this robot. For all she knows he doesn't even care about colour*
My type?
*Faye blinks at the question, then slowly grins*
I don't know. He's a good enough guy, but I haven't seen him fight yet - then I'd know.
[Droids doesn't really care about the color of things, no. They're not biased in that regard.] The only issue is that a bright pink ship is easier to spot than a grey one.
Ah, yes, the fighting is very important. Do you like people who are good with weapons too?
*She slowly shakes her head, amused that anyone would choose sub par when something better was available*
Guns, specifically. But I like a man that can hold his own in a fist fight too.
[`Kay doesn't particularly see any color as sub par, they're color to him, but he know some ships are better than others.]
That is attractive, I agree.
*Mostly because she would steal, or just 'borrow' a ride when she needed it. She shurgs, then grins at the next thing he says*
Definitely. There's a lot to be said for a good strong man with a good shot and a good punch. A man like that is powerful in all kinds of situations...
*And there's a rather cheeky smile*
[Video]
[Stealing is a legit way to acquire a ship in Kay's opinion. Rebels have loose morals about that kind of things.
It's a shame Kay can't smile back because he totally gets what she means. He does sound cheerful, though.]
Yes, I agree. Best luck finding your kind of man then, Faye.
*Faye grins and gives him a lazy mock salute*
Thanks for that. Something tells me I'm gonna need that luck around here.
You are very welcome.

Run into any problems tonight?
Re: A
I can't really complain. I suppose the biggest problem has been you coming to sit here without a drink for me...

*Faye smirks as she takes another sip of her drinks, then slowly uncrosses and crosses her legs again*
Though if he's a taken man, she should trust him, no?
*Still, there's a mischievous glint in her eye as she says it*
