[Now that the Guardian elections are done with, Erza decides that it's time to do some recruiting for the Fairy Tail guild. If she's going to be the Deputy Master here, she needs to take initiative on this sort of thing. Getting together promotional materials is easy enough, as is planning out a route and places to stop at, but it's her outfit that takes the most time to consider. It needs to be eye-catching, but also make people immediately think of Fairy Tail, so the guild's logo will need to be on there somewhere.

...That thought process is how she wound up walking around the cities in this, putting up posters and handing out fliers about Fairy Tail. While it's a mage guild, she figures that any kind of talent would be helpful in their line of work (and it would help get the word out if their services are needed), so she'll be handing out a flier to anyone who stops by, even if they're just asking why she's dressed like that.

In addition to doing this, she'll be seeing the sights that the cities have to offer - she doesn't leave Fayren unless she has to, so it's a good opportunity to get to know the other parts of Genessia. In particular, she'll likely be spending a lot of time in or around the Genessia Center Arts Theatre, Fortuna Palace in Nova City, the Nova City Pool Emporium (just in case they ever decide to put a pool near the guild - you never know!), Attleton's Battle Colosseum, and any clothing stores she can find.]

[ Ayame owns a clothing store in Genessia City, and now in Fayren, but it was a Sunday so she's on her day off. However, she was also in the process of moving homes so Ayame went to her tailor shop in Iris street to get a few things. The few things being some ornate swords, a couple of sabres, a cup-hilt rapier, and a messer. She wraps the blade areas with some plastic and fabric, so it was only the hilts poking out one end.

Ayame notices Erza handing flyers to someone in front of the store just as she closes the front door, with her bundle of swords in one hand, carried through a make-shift handle. Ayame's brows raise at Erza's choice of attire for a second, while taking a few steps down the staircase of her store and onto the sidewalk. ]

Interesting choice of... attire. Is there an occasion?

[ Because if it's an invitation to a costume party, then she's so in. But alas, it's for recruitment ]

[She looks down at her outfit.] Not really - I just figured this would work best to promote my guild. [Erza gestures to the symbol on her chest, as though that clears up everything.]

My normal outfit also has my guild's symbol on it, but I figure this would be more attention-getting. [Her 'normal outfit' involves a steel breastplate - her priorities are... odd, to say the least.]

[ Ayame hums thoughtfully at the symbol, glancing back up at Erza and seeing the pride in the other woman's face as she listens ]

You are not wrong there.

[ Ayame responds, dry but without malice ]

Though that makes me wonder what sort of guild you are promoting. As a merchant of this block, I would have heard of this by now.

[ Ayame guessed this is some sort of merchants guild, anyway. A new business in the block that would be joining the whole line of stores in the street. ]

It's a mage guild, though we're based out of Fayren. I thought that increasing awareness outside of that area would help, even if magic isn't as commonplace in some of the other cities.

Aside from hunting monsters and defeating dark mages or bandits, I've also been a waitress, an actor, and a guard, among others.

I see. You're a woman of many talents, miss.

[ Ayame nods, interested from the looks of the sudden minute shift of body language. ]

I would take a flyer, please. Actually, a lot. I can help you spread awareness of your guild in my stores. I have one soon to open in Fayren, so these would be of good use in there especially.

I'm no mage, however I know someone who might benefit from being around other mages.

[ While she is mentioning someone else, Ayame is pretty curious about this guild in general that she wouldn't mind seeing it for herself ]

All right - thank you very much. [She'll hand over a small stack, figuring that it will be enough.]

What kind of stores do you have? I'll have to pay them a visit some time.

[ Ayame puts her swords down on the ground before taking the small stack of fliers from Erza's hands, letting them stay in her arm as they talk, glancing down to check out what's written ]

The tailor shop behind me is my main store. But I have a new one in Fayren for my traditional kimono line.

You sell kimonos? [Erza rarely had an occasion to wear one, but she always thought they looked rather glamourous.]

Even if they aren't in this store, I'll still have to give it a look. [She definitely noticed the swords as well; she'll ask about those later, but for now, it's the clothing that she's interested in.] Thank you, miss.

Indeed I do, and my collection of dyed fabrics is growing by the day.

[ Ayame proclaims with pride and excitement in her tone, putting away the fliers inside a pocket dimension for now before picking up the swords on the ground. The sound of how it rustled make the bag seem heavy, but Ayame carries it like it's made of a feather ]

I used to sell kimono in this store too, but I figured it's best to move them elsewhere, and promote Japanese fashion to Fayren.

[ Ayame glances back to the front facade of her store, with the window showcasing her latest formal wear creations, mainly men's suits and evening dresses. ]

Well, then, ma'am. I should be on my way. Should you need to contact me, my name is Ayame Sasaki. It's a pleasure to meet such a beautiful woman with an eye for fashion.

Thank you for your help. I'm Erza Scarlet, and my guild's master is Mavis Vermillion. I'm sure either of us will be stopping by your stores at some point. [Erza definitely has an eye on a few of those dresses - even if she doesn't have an occasion to wear them, she tends to buy a lot of clothing just in case she'll need them eventually.]

[As the owner of Fortuna's Palace, a super attractive redhead walking around in that sort of outfit pleases him. He has to pause for a second when he sees her.]

Wait..I didn't hire you to work here, did I? [He says that because he definitely would hire someone to walk around in that kind of outfit..

[Erza shakes her head.] No, this is my first time in Nova City. I'll have to stop by more often - I didn't realize that there was a casino here! [It's probably for the best if she doesn't - when it comes to casinos, she's supernaturally lucky.]

I think it would be good for business to have a beauty like yourself dropping by here. Especially if you are wearing something like that. [He motions to her outfit.]

[The flirting goes over her head; she doesn't have much experience with that sort of thing.] Really? I have a few other outfits like this one, but this seems best suited for promoting my work.
