[Just outside of every entrance to the Bay, new arrivals might find a magazine stand stacked with fliers, each one with a sign overhead saying "READ ME." On the flier itself is a message.]


DON'T PANIC
If you're reading this you've probably just woken up in a strange place and are very confused.
Welcome to the club.

What I can tell you is that you're safe, this isn't a trick, and, no, we don't know any way back yet. The packet you woke up with should give you more information and include some cash and an apartment key.

[Cherise actually finds the fact that he's a wizard to be very comforting. But then again, she's not used to people needing to proclaim their magic gifts either. That's like advertising 'I'm human' where she's from. After reading the flier and flicking the water off of her pumps, she slips her shoes back on and dials the number. She's not sure what to expect, or if he can say anything more on the matter of her odd arrival that wasn't already covered in the pamphlets or his flyer. Perhaps it's more curiosity than anything. When he answers, she replies in a voice that's formal and polite, and just slightly tinged with an English accent.]

Is this Mr. Dresden? I was hoping you could tell me more about this...'Genessia.' Just where is it on the map?

[She hasn't heard of it before, so she doubts it's in England.]

[And Harry's day continues to be a busy one. Not that he's complaining. He does get a few James Bond flashbacks when he hears a formal, British accent refer to him as "Mr. Dresden."]

Well, the first thing I can tell you is that it isn't on the map.

[Her brow furrows slightly. How...problematic. She's aware that some people can slip between dimensions, but to build an entire city and enfold people forcefully inside it? ...Let's not jump to conclusions, Ms. Creativepants.]

[That was Harry's first guess, that this was somewhere in the Nevernever but that stopped being a valid theory when people started showing up from different versions of Earth.]

If you figure that one out, let me know. Wherever it is, we're definitely not in Kansas anymore.

[Cherise wouldn't know; she left the States when she was very little and never saw Kansas. Still, she's fairly sure he's correct.]

Well that's more than a little maddening.

[She folds her arms, quiet for a moment as she tries to decide what to ask next.]

What kind of investigations have you conducted? I would hate for my efforts to be redundant in any fashion.
