2 Lanterns | Video

[Rapunzel still hadn't found a place to live yet and that was mostly due to various problems she has found herself in. Mostly her hair. She did need space for it considering the amount and also she wanted areas where she could paint on the wall if she wanted to. So when she finally got the device on she was sitting in the park.]

I've... been here for a couple weeks now and I've been looking for not only work, which I realised I need to do and ask about that but also about living arrangements. Would anyone happen to know of a good place where I could paint on the walls? Or at least a place I can let down my hair because I really do need the room for it.

[She ran fingers through her hair briefly and not even that reached the end.]

As for work...I've never honestly worked before, so I really don't know where to begin.

There's a lot of available houses on Attleton, they're not very pricey for the space you get in exchange. Most of them come with a garden too.

Why paint on the walls instead of a big canvas? You can take the painting with you if you move, the walls...not so much.

Oh really....Though how much exactly? While I'm still looking for work I'm going to need to know when I finally do.

Because that would be way too many canvases. [And she was serious. She covers walls and ceiling, the amount she would need would cost a lot.]

It's also cheaper to do it on walls as you only need to get paint.

There are 2 bedrooms apartments for the minimum wage that are clean and well designed, I think they're called Bixby Place. Or you could build your own house, is what Cassian and I did.

Do you paint that much? if you do, a canvas is still a better option than walls. The numbers of walls, ceilings, and floors a house has are very limited while you will never run out of canvas.

You could sell them if you ended with too many paintings, that should make up for the cost of buying the canvas. Actually, It could even get you a decent payroll.

I don't think I could actually build my own place, so that is out of the question.

I do. I had a lot of free time. But canvas can be limited depending on the amount of money you have, though. Plus one can paint over and start again on walls.

[She isn't exactly one to want to sell her paintings though. Though... she didn't even know it was a thing really.]

Not many people can, it happens. [Kay had the advantage that he doesn't get tired and didn't need to stop to sleep or ear.]

You can't paint over canvas once the pain dries too? But if what you like is painting on wall, maybe you could also work redecorating houses instead.

I'm not sure. I've never seen any canva's I just painted on the walls of the tower.

[Redecorating houses? With the way she paints, it's probably doubtful she would be able to do that. but who knows.]

I could see, but that would be painting with just one colour though.

Some people like drawings on their walls too. Children would love to see landscapes and the like on their bedroom's walls, I'm sure. At home we have a pokemon playroom that could use some pretty drawings. The pokemons would appreciate it.

Oh, really? You could show me where they are at least.

Pretty drawings? Like anything in particular or just... anything?

Of course, it's not a problem. There are several stores for this kind of supplies in all the different cities, the easier to find are in Genessia and Attleton because the cities are not as large as Nova or...traditional as Fayren. I'll send you a list.

Anything you feel like painting would work. [It's a drawing, so if something didn't turn out right they can just repaint the wall.]

I think I would have some idea of what to paint. Just... what do your pokemon look like?

Uhm...give me a minute. [He's in the house and the pokemons are in their room so it's easy to just go find them and turn the camera towards them. In the rooms there's quite the variety of Pokemon either sleeping or playing around. The duosion is holding a book, apparently trying to read. Pity that the book it's upside down. ]

That's a lot of pets.

Yes, I am aware. They're the reason why we moved to a bigger house.

What would you like in exchange?

Uh well...I haven't really thought about that.

[Payment is not a thing that usually happens.]

People would normally ask for some payment, right?

Yes. Monetary or not.

I could ask my partner to cook you something if money is not what you want.

I guess I'll do what I would normally when asking for birthday presents and just ask for the paint.

I'm sure. Not much else I need. I get just enough to live in a place so I don't need extra.

[She doesn't think she needs more money anyway.]

We used to live like that in my world, Cassian and I. Here, well,..we need a few more things but mostly for out pets rather than ourselves.

[Kay can understand that.]

I don't have pets, really.

[Even if she did, doubt she would call them as such.]

Just me. So I still don't need as much than what I usually have. Can find stuff to make clothes and the like, but I guess I can buy more things in the future.

Int hat case making a will be easier I suppose.

If you're looking for work, I've been looking for workers. I run a designer clothing store in Nova City.

Clothing store?

[Not something she had ever really heard about before now.]

I assume it's a place that sells clothing that I've seen.

Yes. I sell clothing, and I'd be surprised if you haven't seen my creations around town.

If you're interested in the position, my store is located in Nova City.

I haven't really explored much yet, so I might not have.

[More so as she has yet to actually go beyond Genessia.]

It's to the north of Genessia City. I can have someone pick you up at the gate if you wish.

Well, if you're renting a place, I don't know if most landlords would appreciate painting on the walls, no matter how nice they might be. But would you really need that much space for your hair?

[She can't really see much, but she does notice the long hair from what she can see. How long could it really be though?]

What do you like to do? I can try to offer suggests?

Well...yes. I mean it's like 70ft of hair.

[She doesn't measure it, so she honestly doesn't know the length. She just knows it's extremely long.]

Well I like to do various things with the free time I usually had. Reading, painting, cleaning, cooking, baking. That kind of thing. Oh and crafty things.

Wow, that's a lot of hair. How do you manage to get around with that much without problems?

[She's not asking to be rude, she's actually curious. But at the list of things, there are a number of ideas that came to her mind.]

Oh wow! You can technically find a lot of different jobs with a resume like that.

You can work at a library; They have a lot of books there and I'm sure you'd be able to read from time to time. You can also sell some paintings to people and take commissions. I'm sure people will also come up with different jobs for their businesses for time to time. There are also bakeries and restaurants you could work at for cooking and backing. I'm not sure what kind of crafty things you can do, but I'm sure you can find some sort of job that would fit it.

I don't know, I just do.... Don't really think about it.

[She can carry it as well, so she figured it wasn't much to its weight or anything. To her anyway.]

Those are all wonderful suggestions and will look into them a bit more before I do anything else. Thank you.
