Twenty-first Reel: Team Meeting [Action]
Who: Grell, Remelia, Marco, and Seth (and probably Oswald if he wants to join with them or separately later on)
What: Guardian Meeting
When: NOW or like sometime Friday
Where: Everglade- The Rose Estate
Warning: None for now but who knows...
With crime a bit slow due to the heat, Grell took the opportunity to not only get ahead on paperwork, but also to organize her team better. So she sends them this text:
Her pool which is usually open, was closed to the public today for this meeting. They will be let in through the front entrance and will have to walk through the mansion to get to the pool. Grell is already there, in a blue bikini, large sunglasses, and floating on a pool mat. There is a large blackboard near the pool as well, but it's blank.
There's a small table with refreshments and extra pool items if they want to jump in and lounge.

- We're having a meeting. Please come poolside as soon as you're able. Dress appropriately.|

He flashes Remilia a smile before lookin over at his new boss.
"You look relaxed." He comments in a light tone.

"Yet you don't. I'm guessing you not coming into the pool?" How are they not a puddle of goo? Perhaps Remelia's glum look was the only sign of her suffering. "Marco will be joining us soon, so feel free to get a few refreshments." Using a pool noodle, Grell paddled her float closer to the edge. "Remelia, you look woefully miserable."
Never say that she didn't care about her colleagues.

At least she has that golden snorkel charm that renders her water weakness moot. She may indeed decide to enter the pool herself.

He figured they might be waiting for a bit so he makes himself comfortable.

"Yo!" He cheerfully waves in greeting, acting a bit like a cabana boy.
New order! Grell -> Remilia -> Seth -> Marco until otherwise!
Somehow Grell doubted Remilia had plans of that sort, because if she did, she wouldn't be here, and would have just come later.
"We won't be doing much swimming anyway, so--" The words die off quickly as Marco came onto the scene in the most ridiculous thing. She didn't think he owned that, but...there he goes surprising her. She had also stopped paddling, close enough to the edge, but far enough for her float to keep turning a bit. "Is this what took you?" Sighing, Grell righted herself and got a grip onto the side of the pool.
"Now that everyone is here, introductions are in order." She gestures to Seth with an open palm. "Seth will be our third deputy." She then did the same for Remilia and Marco. "They are your colleagues, Remilia Scarlet, and Marco, who is my husband."
DEFINITELY EYEING THAT GRASS SKIRT THOUGH.
no subject
"...Quel fou." What kind of a first impression on Seth is that?
no subject
"It's nice to meet everyone." He looked at the other deputies as they were introduced while continuing to relax at the side of the pool. There wasn't an awkward bone in Seth's body.
"Husband?" He asked with a bit of a smirk. "It sounds like you got your hands full." Seth rather liked eccentric people.

Though he did have a small moment. "What's Bastille day? There's a marine named that. Sounds like a day honoring him." In which case he'll have to set fire to things in protest. It's a rule.

Having said the exact same answer at the exact same time as Marco just showed how much they loved each other, and how long they've been together. Seeing Seth so calm at his display only justified her decision in hiring him. It's good to underestimate Marco. Their enemies would never see him coming.
"Bastille Day is a day celebrating the fall of a place named Bastille, which was a prison, and represented the monarchy's abuse of power," Grell explained while setting up something on her device. "It was a major turning point in the French Revolution."
For someone who wasn't French, she sure knew a lot about it.
"Now that introductions are out of the way, lets get to business." The blackboard, which had been blank since their arrival, suddenly had an image on it, thanks to a projection. It wasn't the usual light projection, though. The image is a map of Everglade, with labels of each area. "I want to divide up patrol areas into four quadrants."
The image is divided into four with differentiating colors: red, blue, white, and pink.
"Naturally, each area will be rotated between us, to keep it from being predictable. The area will change every two days, and will be randomly assigned by an generator program." The colors in the image changed places to show possible different assignments. "Any questions?"

He turned towards the projection. "None so far." He flashed Grell a smile.
no subject
"I'm blue, aye?" And just for lulz and emphasis, he sparkled blue.
Sparkle sparkle.

The image of Everglade disappeared, and another one of the police force in town came up. "Next is the training of the police officers here to better deal with the variety of residents. They need to be aware of not only the weaknesses of species, but also their strengths." The image became a bit smaller to make space for a second image, which is just hand drawn houses of the city. "Also, we could help set up neighborhood watches. It's time that neighbors be more active in the areas they live in and help protect one another by reporting suspicious activities. But..." She tapped the side of the pool in thought. "I think they need more awareness of the mannerisms and cultures of other species, so they don't report that the local wereman is roasting dinner over a fire pit, unless that dinner was their neighbor."
Both images shift to make space for a third. "Last, we definitely need to create evacuation plans for residents, in case of an emergency like the breach happens again. We would also need to make sure the shelters are secure every once in a while."
no subject
And on that note, she wondered how many shelters were around.
no subject
"Are the shelters marked so people know where they are? I might be able to help the security some." His talent was with shields and he would be able to test the strength of any other spells around the shelters too.
no subject
"Aye, evacuations to where might be a good start, eh? Then plotting the routes are easier."
SORRY FOR THE DELAY!!! ;;
"Up until now, they haven't been, but now that we know where they are, we can start making it well known. Perhaps signs will help, too. I'd have to discus it with the mayor." She looked to Seth before continuing. "Your help would be greatly appreciated. We don't want vandals or thieves to damage them or steal something."
The last thing they needed was a run down shelter which couldn't protect people.
"Anything else?" She looked to Remilia, who didn't seem to have any questions as of yet.

Let's not forget that this girl uses Vlad III Dracula as an example to live by...

Stealing from a place where people would otherwise get shit for free didn't make sense to Seth.
forgot it was my turn :T
No worries!
Grell was seriously contemplating the beheadings. Just look at her scheming face.
"I don't think beheadings would go well with the crowd, unfortunately." Sorry, Marco, they'll just have to behead people on the low. "We also have to look into these Children of Elo."
Reports of their crimes popped up on the blackboard. "They seem to be targeting family run businesses in Everglade, so it could be a grudge."
no subject
"I think we can all agree these Children of Elo must be crushed, yes?"
no subject
He knew what rumors were going around but he wasn’t sure if those in charge somehow had more information.
