We are pleased to cordially invite you to attend or participate in the first ATTLETON OLYMPIC SUMMER GAMES event that which will take place on 26 July - 2 August in Attleton’s Battle Colosseum.

The true spirit and goal of the Olympic Games is to bring together representatives from all the different cities, civil societies and public authorities to encouraged understanding across cultures. With all the eyes upon you, we ask you to send a message to the world through sport. Show the world that people of all abilities, races, nationalities and worlds can come together as one.

“The important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well.”

Now is the time for faith in the future. We look forward seeing you this July in Attleton!

Attached to the text message there’s a Event Organizer Handbook Pdf detailing the sports that will take place, explaining the rules about the power limiters, the prizes..There's also information about how to contact the organizers to sponsor the games and/or the podracers, or to become a -very much needed- volunteers.

Feel free to use this plot to have characters talk about the future games or maybe discuss the less traditional sports listed, such as Nerf throwing or PodRacing. Have fun!]

So. What kind of prizes are we talking about?

There will be three different classes of medals: gold for the winner, silver for the first runner-up and bronze for the second runner-up. Those who end placing fourth will get an Olympic diploma and a plushie wearing a t-shirt with the Olympic Games logo. It's explained in more detail in the attached Event Organizer Handbook.

[But Kay doesn't mind clarifying the info and it gives him a excuse to finally talk to the other man.]

Just medals? No cash prize or anything? Dang. I was kinda hoping to make some money off this, but a medal would be nice too.

The sports categories are listed in the vent Organizer Handbook. [That apparently no one bothers to read. Kay isn't that surprising.]

But yes, we have Greco-Roman wrestling.

It's good to finally meet you. I have a question, Cassian said you shoot yourself. How come you aren't dead?

[Greco-Roman? He heard about that sport, but despite his werewolf strength (which he doubts he can use it since it might be cheating), it's not the ideal sport for him to participate. But his mentor did say that he might learn some new tricks if he tries something different.]

Wrestling, huh? Do they accept teenage participants?

Thank you, we've been working on this for quite some time now. We want people to have a good time and help make Attleton City more interesting. It has a lot to offer.

Yes, we need people to make sure nothing bad happens and that can also be ready if there's a possible emergency.

We would appreciate help with the paperwork, yes. The pile keeps growing no matter what we do.

The fact that you're both interested in it and do more than just your jobs makes other people want to be more interested. It's a nice city, but I think people appreciate more when you do things like this. They don't always think to explore them.

Some help with it would be great. As soon as people start signing up for the games there will be a lot of things to organize. I can handle most of it but I have more than one job at the moment and I'm short on time.

No, there's no limiting age but for certain sports, such as wrestling, the judges might set the participants in pairs that are similarly built. It's to keep things as fair for both contestant as possible.
