[The feed clicks on to show a rather confused boy, having just seen the welcome hologram and still not quite sure what just happened. Kidnapped? Wasn't that exactly what he and his surviving friends had just gone through... sort of...? It takes him a few seconds to realize he'd turned on the video feed to ask some questions and instead spaced out. Whoops.]

A-Ah, uh, hi? Sorry, I'm kind of... [He rubs at one of his eyes, taking a quick breath to steady himself. Why did he feel like he'd been in a deep sleep...? Last he remembered, he wasn't even...]

I guess I'm new here? I'm pretty lost, but I guess you all had the same experience when suddenly ending up here. My name is Makoto Naegi. [Best assume he's in a foreign place... well, that's where he is now, right? He'd go with western order, here.] It's nice to meet you all. I guess given the way things are back home, if it's safe here, that's... [... Better? No, he'd still rather be with his friends. He didn't even really get to see what was beyond the front doors of the school. Had she been telling the truth?] Well, that's good, I guess.

[The video feed would linger a bit longer before he'd end it with a goodbye, but he could also be found walking around the Bay, reading the map and asking passersby about this strange new place he'd found himself in.]

[ A bat-winged, too pale girl with red, cat like eyes appears. She couldn't be all that tall, probably 4 feet or so, but holds herself with confidence. When she speaks, it's with a bit of an accent. French, to be exact. ]

Scarlet-sama to you. [ She switches to fluent Japanese... notably, it's better than her English. ] And yes, I am a vampire. And one of the two last members of French nobility that exists, the other being my younger sister.

Highly depends on if anythin' has changed between some of us gettin' here. Sometimes I think this place has a sense of humor.

[Have a blonde haired witch peering at you, adjusting her hat slightly. Yo dude!]

[Someone walking around the Bay, meet a gamer girl who was close by not paying any and all attention to her surroundings right about now. When she finally realises she has actually bumped into someone, she paused the game, looking up.]

Ah, I'm sorry. I guess I got too engrossed in the game. Are you okay?

[Honestly, Naegi is too good at not paying attention to his surroundings when he's so engrossed in new sights and locations. He takes a step back after feeling himself bump into another person, and he laughs a little nervously.]

A-Ah, sorry about that-- I'm fine, I wasn't paying attention either. What game are you playing?

I guess we both weren't.

[Which is a first for her honesty. She paused for a moment, it was also a first that someone actually asked what she was playing.]

I'm playing Killers Oath: The Chronicles. It's like a side game based on the main series.

[A fellow Japanese teenager just so happens to be walking near the Bay, hands in his pockets, when he spots Naegi. Seeing him reminds Akira of himself when he first arrived about a month ago, so there's an immediate pang of sympathy for the guy. He could probably use a friendly face right now, so Akira decides to approach him.]

[Naegi definitely didn't like the feeling of being lost -- especially accompanied by the same feeling he had with his memories of his school. Surely others here were in the same boat as him, same as it was back at home, right? And yet, he couldn't shake the feeling of uneasiness at not knowing anyone here.

Those feelings were set aside, however, with the curious words that he heard. He could certainly use some help.]

Oh! Yeah. Sorry, kinda lost in thought. [He rubs the back of his neck a little, sheepishly.] I only recently wound up here. There's a lot to take in.
