[Haru sighed as she turned on the feed, she appeared to be sitting down, rather tired for the most part. It was mostly because of work. She found it interesting, but she also felt like the style and setting just wasn't right for her and it was bothersome. She needed the job, but at the same time if one wasn't exactly happy with it, what does one do next?

It was never a situation she had been in before.]

I'm sorry to be a bother, but I am trying to think something over and would like a little bit of input. [She makes sure to sit up properly and in a position that seems appropriate before continuing.]

Admittedly before I found myself here, I had never worked in any type of job before, so when I got the opportunity I decided to try and work in a diner, the thing that is the closest to what I used to back home.

[She pauses as she looks down slightly.]

While they really aren't the same, it was close enough but... I realized that working in a 1930's based diner was probably not the best idea. It's not that I hate it or anything, it's just... It doesn't feel right, I guess. Does that make sense? Though honestly, I don't think it helped with some customers you get every now and again. Were people always that rude?

[She paused again, moving on hand to adjust some stray strands from the front of her hair toward the side.]

So I'm hoping that maybe there is another job for me that I can do? [She bows her head slightly before looking up again.]

Also...I've been practising making a few things while I did work at the diner and I wanted to get as much feedback as possible, so if anyone wants to volunteer please let me know.

[When Haru wasn't working, wearing her 1930's inspired work outside or buying supplies to grow the various plants, Haru could be found wandering around looking at various weapons shops that she had found at Fayren. They were simply quite fascinating and she couldn't help but notice a good few weapons she found particularly interesting.

After a good wander for the day Haru had started to carry back what appeared to be a halberd. It's really any ones guess why she brought it. Is anyone even brave enough to find out?

Have you thought of starting your own place?

No, but that is mostly because I don't think I'd be very capable of doing something like that currently.

[She doesn't have much confidence about it anyway.]

Why do you say that? I think you'd be wonderful at it and if you need someone to act as an accounting I'd be happy to offer that service.

Many reasons, for one back home, even though I was a majority shareholder in my fathers business, I never really knew what to do. I don't have the experience to deal with that kind of situation or know how to even run a business.

Also, I do worry that if I did people might think to try and use me because of that inexperience. It's actually why I wanted to work at a lower level. Maybe learn to try and understand before ever considering something like that.

I see. I don't know of any positions then but I do hope you find something that you are comfortable with.

I hope so, even if it's a step toward something bigger in the future. Until then, I guess I can carry on at the diner. But I hope not for too long.

It wouldn't be at all. I would look forward to it. Or if I ever open a garden or something you could always find me there. Just need to find a plot of land, first.

Mostly various coffee and teas, but I also thought to attempt some cooking and baking since it's something I need to do since living in an apartment.

[Things she did not think though, this, food and vampires don't mix well. Welp she's offered now and can't take it back, not only would it seem suspicious, it would be rude too!]

Well I can try some if you want? I mean I'm no food expert but I can tell you if it tastes nice at least?

Okay, so you want to try the food. Well, I've been baking a variety of things like cakes and cookies and biscuits.

So if there is a certain type you would like I'd be happy to make it.

[ He does think he has an idea why she's carrying a large halberd. At least, he hopes he has an idea. In any case, he can't help but investigate it. He hasn't really had enough conversations with her. Or anyone in the group outside of Akira, really. There's some free time since he's heading home from work when he spots her so this is a good opportunity. Weapons are a great conversation topic, right?

[Haru did find it a little heavy, but compared to some others she had seen who struggled, she was at least glad she could handle it better than them. She guessed it came down to how much she had been running around with one before she found herself here.

She had stopped for a moment, freezing almost at the sound of the familiar voice. Of all the people that could have found her, he had to be the one. She turned her head slightly, a faint smile pressed on her lips.]

What do I like doing? I enjoy growing vegetables, which I am already working on... Just trying to perfect the soil first.

it's always calming and relaxing thing to do, but not exactly something I can do as work.

Why not? You could set up community gardens or help make herb gardens for restaurants, urban gardening is really profitable! Especially if you know how to go for rare things, or easy to get in the park kind'a things!

Even showing people what things help grow together like roses and thyme, or basil and tomatoes, or whatever!

Because for the first three months no one would get anything because they would still be growing. So really during those times, I would be earning very little or nothing at all. What I have planned is to work on that until I am at a point where that wouldn't be a problem, but until then I feel as if it isn't a viable option.

[She knew at least with things like that there was little to no possibility of being used for one reason or another. She could do things herself.]

But it is an option regardless.
