[Vyers had already taken the time to read over the information pamphlet once he had stumbled out the bay.

He rather doubted its assurance that waking up in this strange and unfamiliar place wasn't some sort of trick, especially as it did not seem he had any way to return to the Netherworld or even to Celestia.

Still, he had to put his concerns aside for the time being. Right now, it was of upmost importance that he gather his bearings as soon as possible. With that thought in mind, he clicked the video feed with a flamboyant laugh.]

Ahahahahaha~ Greetings, citizens of Genessia!

Forgive moi, I do hope you are not stunned into silence by someone of my beauty gracing your screens. I thought it only polite to introduce myself in a manner which truly demonstrated my elegance to you all, after all.

My name is Vyers, although most know me as the Dark Adonis~

[Despite how impressive this demon thinks he looks, everything about this guy just gives the impression of a Midboss.]

[It doesn't take her long to arrive at The Bay. Noticing the familiar face, she rushed over with a bright smile.]

It's nice to see you again.

Oh! Or rather... I wonder if I should be saying that considering you're stuck here with us now too....

[Midboss soon saw the blonde rushing over to him, and he returned her bright smile with one of his own.]

Indeed! I am certainly glad to see a friendly face in all this confusion. I must thank you for coming to find me so promptly, I fear I am already a little lost.

[Egotistic though he was, he soon noticed that something about Flonne seemed rather different to the last time he saw her.

The devil tail? The wings and ears? The colour scheme could easily have been a change of outfit… but those features were not ones you just switched when you felt like it.]

[Now that she mentioned it, what exactly had happened before he'd woken up in the bay? Hm.]

Yes, I am still trying to work out exactly how we all ended up here. I was in the middle of the vital task of combing my hair, so I would be ready for my next big appearance!

[A pause.]

…The new look does rather suit you.

[She couldn't help but giggle slightly to that. At the mention of her new look she gave a blank look for a moment.]

Oh! Thank you, I guess.

[Which led her to the next thought..]

What's the last thing that happened to you back home? I mean.. big event.

[Vyers thought back, tapping his foot a moment as he did so.

~~What do you mean, combing his hair wasn't a big event?~~]

Hm, let me think… Yes, I was preparing for a truly glorious grand finale of a battle!

In fact, I was about to make my grand entrance and surprise your party as you broke through the gateway into Celestia, but…

[But then, if he hadn't gone to sleep, why did he suddenly wake up…?]

Aha! That must be it! … To stoop to such low tactics as to knock moi unconscious before I could even make my re-appearance! I cannot believe it…!

[Oh.... So he was before... That explained his reaction to how she was now.]

I see now. No wonder.

[A pause...]

People here come from different time points. The last thing I remember was somehow coming back to life when I had been punished already by Lamington-sama.... [Although she knows now how she came back.. It only took a few months for that....] When I came back.. I looked like this. I was teaching young demons about love.

I think you've got that part mistaken though.

[OOC: Flonne is also taken from end of anime BTW. I was going to tell you that and I forgot to.]

Different time points…? Wait, then you have already confronted the Seraph?

[That…made things distinctly more complicated. It also made him wonder how much she'd learnt about the grand plan…and how much she knew about him.]

…That is very strange, indeed.

Still! Love is an important lesson for young demons to learn, but I'm sure you do not need moi to tell you that, Mademoiselle~

[Luckily for him, from the time that she's from, she doesn't know about him being Laharl's father.]

Of course it is! Since I can't go back to Celestia, I thought the next best thing is to spread love in the Netherworld.

[OOC: Ahh, it works~ Cody has told me about Vyers though. (I'm behind in the games... /sobs).]

[A flash of worry came into his expression. How had the final confrontation between Laharl and the Seraph gone? Laharl was here and seemed up to his old ways, as was Flonne, despite the changes.

…Had his old friend made it out alive?]

…I trust Laharl did not beat him into a pulp too badly?

[He did manage a smile, though, at the last part.]

Indeed, indeed. After all, demons are capable of feeling love just as angels can. They just tend to be a little more reluctant to show it, don't you think?

[OOC: Admittedly I'm a little behind in the games as well. Still got a couple of chapters to play through in Disgaea 1, hence part of the reason for not picking a particular ending path yet. ~~Plus canon-updating him later and watching him flail seems like it would be entertaining~~.]

[She doesn't remember anything past being punished... Not until she came back to life.]

Exactly. I honestly believe everyone is filled with love; demon, angels, and human alike. Each person's love is shown in different ways, causing the different interpretations of it. Love isn't something that we're born with; Rather it is something that we naturally develop and thus causes the different variations. Once you get past whatever stops the thought process, anybody can feel it.

And why would you not want to anyways? It's one of the most wonderful feelings you can ever have. It has the power to conquer any roadblock in life.

[Oh no... She's started her love spew. At least this time it's more intelligent as to her usual hyper, obsessive love chants.]

[OOC: LVLing in Disgaea is the worst............"OTL That's my issue. ~~I'll probably canon update later.~~]

[So she didn't know… he'd have to ask Laharl himself about that later. Still, the thought was causing a rather unpleasant knot to form in the pit of his stomach.

If he was here, who had informed Laharl about the true nature of their plan? Lamington would have gone ahead and fought Laharl for his own punishment, regardless, and…he could have been killed.

Still, he tried not to let this feeling show on his face as he gave a melodramatic, contented sigh.]

Love truly is the most beautiful of emotions, and perhaps one of the strongest. There are plenty of blocks that try to hold love back, but once those are overcome then all of us can become filled with that feeling, if we let it happen.

Even if it can cause a great deal of pain, I believe the happiness that comes with it outweighs that.

[And he's going right along with it.]

[OOC: Hehe, getting up to silly-high levels can be tough. I've not exactly done well on my bonus-boss count.]

[She knew why she was actually sent to the Netherworld, but of course that could have all been different from what Vyers knew.]

Exactly. That's why I've sworn that my new mission would be to prove to Laharl-san that even the "great overlord" himself had love in him too.

Pain is caused because of love, but isn't that an important thing to have? Because you know if you feel pain for something, you must have loved them too. The stronger the pain, the more love you feel.

[Now somebody needs to let this love freak realize that she loves Laharl romantically. How can one who obsesses over love and spreads the word no notice her own feelings. Rather, she does slightly but she doesn't know what to make of it.]

[Vyers was aware of the details, but as far as he was concerned, those were matters that could be dealt with later.]

You may have quite a mission with that, my rival does seem awfully stubborn.

[His chuckle was a little bittersweet. He still remembered getting a very firm no when he asked his son if he loved him.]

Yes, bien sûr! They do seem to go a little hand in hand, sometimes.

I must ask, how long has it been since you arrived here?

[Well, daddy!Midboss isn't opposed to the idea. He may have to do a little bit of interfering…]

He is... but he's also shown me that he does have love in him, no matter how small it may be right now.

[Because nearly killing the seraph (or actually doing it) for turning Flonne into her favorite flower for her punishment has to be a testament to that. But the change of topic was fine for her.]

Me? I'd say about.... a month or two? Laharl-san came at the same time I did.

I'm certain you're a good influence on him in that regard.

[He didn't know about that part, but it was hard to remain in Flonne's proximity and avoid getting infected by her love ideals, at the very least.]

A month…that is rather strange. Why, you cannot have been gone from the Netherworld for that long, Mademoiselle! Is this another affect of these… time points?

That is very strange… Well, I suppose I will have to ask my rival what he remembers from home as well.

Still! That is for later. Are there are places to stay in town? The pamphlet mentioned something about apartments, but I do hope they are suitable for one of my potential~

I'm not exactly sure. I'm staying with Laharl-san right now.
