Hi everyone!

[For once Edith looks happy, almost bouncing. Which makes sense since she's surrounded by books! That's right, she's in the library.]

So the library is going to be open twenty four hours a day now, and I'm doing the night shift here! So I just thought I'd try drumming up business so, would anyone like to be part of a book club?

And what's your favourite book? If you have one that is, I'd love you know.

[Edith picks up a book and passes it from hand to hand, she's now sure how to end this video and she's feeling awkward.]

Edith was a bit too hyper about her new job, she had already sorted the returns for the evening, cleaned the counter, twice. And Triple checked the books due list. She sighed and sat heavily in her seat... wouldn't she get in trouble for reading on job? This was a whole new world of books and she was tempted to take a peek though instead of watching for people walking in.

As had become his habit, Marco picked the lock on a window with his beak, and let himself inside.

There some lights on.

Not enough to be bright, and yet...?

After a brief moment, the phoenix turned human (albeit a pineapple headed one), shut the window and looked around for his fellow intruder.

"Oi. Who's running electricity at night? That's gonna run up the bills I hope you know," he deadpanned lazily.

"Oh!"

A few seconds later Eidth pokes her head into the room Marco had broken into.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you come in." Edith glances at the windows but upon seeing them closed starts to wonder if she really did somehow miss the man walk in.

"I'm Edith, I work the nightshift here now, can I help you?"

"Night shift?" his eyes darted sideways. She was way too tiny to be a security guard. And who was going to guard a library?! Or had there been other break-ins he wasn't aware of?

Oh Edith was stronger than she looked, but she wasn't actually working as a security guard.

"Yeah, we're open for twenty four hours a day now... isn't that why you're here?"

"Of course," a smile. "So you're the librarian?"

Huh. Well, it wasn't like he needed to spread maps out here anymore, the Rose Estate had more than enough room, and Grell was more competent than ever at running things on her own.

But now he's going to have to actually check out books instead of just sneaking in. What a pain!

Edith had no idea that Marco was upset about this and just kept on smiling herself.

"That's right!" Edith nodded. "It's my first shift here. I'm Eidth and you are..?"

Congratulations on the night job.

[She felt the need to say that with the most cheery voice she could muster.]

[ Thanks to the cheeriness Edith is still bouncing, she hasn't' been this happy since she got her body back.]

Thanks! I wanted to start up a book shop but I think this might be even better. And there are apartments next door too that look pretty nice.

Maybe the bookshop could be something in the future regardless.

[She nodded slightly.]

So not a huge walking distance, that's great.

Maybe, but I think it needs something more you know? To really attract customers.

And that's right! I can almost roll out of bed and right into work.

So something that would make it stand out from others, right?

[She nodded slightly, right now for Haru she has to go from city to city to get to work. it was why she was considering trying other forms of work.]

Don't try and roll into work though.

Aww but isn't rolling the whole way to work the best way to start your first day?

And yeah, this place as a coffee shop so I need to some up with something better. I guess we could sell music too I mean people like listening to music as the read...maybe a cafe... Oh! You want to open a bakery don't you? What if we have a bookshop and Bakery together?

Uh... [Wait that was to forward wasn't it? ] Sorry got carried away there but those are a few ideas anyway.

But then you have the potential for people to step on you accidentally.

Though all those could be interesting ideas, you'd probably need to discuss something like that with the owner.

[She couldn't help but laugh slightly.]

I didn't say I wanted to open a bakery, it's an idea. A cafe would also be nice, but I want to open a garden first. But you certainly do have a good lot of ideas and they are all very good.

Wonderful! Saves me the trouble of scheduling properly.

[Her question's a tough one. He loves so many books. He'll just pick one at random.]

To answer your inquiry, I adored Watership Down. Those clever rabbits! I hardly knew animality could be so fraught with peril.

Thank you! I think I've found a place to stay too, there are these nice looking apartments right next door.

Yes. For the moment at least. Genessia has almost everything I need, but now that I have a ha-, a place to stay I can really start getting to know the other cities.

[Oh dear, With all the vampire talk on the network lately she's terrified of giving herself away, which would be better? Pretend she never almost said the word 'Haven' and hope Kaytoo lets it go, or deny it and draw even more attention to it.]

Oh nothing, I just have a friend who calls his apartment a haven, I kinda got into the habit of saying myself even though it's such a silly word.

Oh I think I've heard of Dead Souls but never got chance to read it. Wasn't it Russian? I wonder if there's a copy here...

Though if you're trying to scare up visitors you might mention a few of your own. So long as they're in the catalogue.

My favorite books are all on the manufacture and upkeep of robots.

Oh? I'be never been into engineering or Robotics but I know I saw some books on the subject. Should I check our titles for you?

My education was interrupted, I explained my situation and will be allowed to finish learning by on the job.
