Geez, what did you do to the poor thing?

Tried a squirt bottle? Hear those work for misbehaving cats.

I've done nothing that I haven't done to the other cats, he just seems to hate me.

I did... It didn't work and is how I ended up scratched to high heaven.

[Fai had currently been tending to his wounds, so when the feed chips on, it was obvious that he was covered, including his cheek. After a moment it was clear that he wasn't overly amused at that assumption.]

I didn't do anything. He just keeps attacking unprovoked. I could be on the other side of the room and he'd go for me.

[Sorry Fai, kitties are Dray's weakness. He's got hus babies taken away from him so he automatically worries. But he takes notice of Fai's miserable appearance.]

Chances are you smell like something he doesn't like. Did you disinfect the scratches?

Started to, but there are a lot of scratches and I don't have enough ointment.

[He still had a bit left however as he started to put it on his cheek, trying not to flinch as hissing could be heard in the background. The cat is not happy.]

I can come over and help you. I'm also good with babies, I'll try to soothe the cat.

Where are you?

I think I will need all the help I can get before he considers attacking again. Though I swear I put him in another room.

[He paused.]

Also I'm at the Cat's Eye Cafe.

That means he's a smart, resourceful kitty!....who just happens to hate you for some reason. So, one good thing and another not so good thing.

I'm on my way, give me a few minutes.

I would leave him alone if it weren't for the other cats. I said he doesn't attack anyone else, but didn't say if he attacked the others cats or not and I just worry.

[Dray's sure the poor kitty is just misunderstood. When eh finally walks into the cafe, he follows Fai's scent rather than try to locate him by looking around. That's more effective to him.

He pets a few of the cats as he approaches the other man because Dray really can't help it. He also brought with him a small green bottle filled wih special ointment he made himself from some herbs.]

If he's giving you so much trouble I can take care of him.

If one of them looks at him in a way he doesn't like, who knows. I mean so far just me thankfully.

[He rather he gets hurt than another cat if he really thought about it. But currently, he had moved to the back room to avoid the hissing from the cat, sitting on the couch, rolling up his sleeves to check out the scratches, which covered his arms.]

It's fine, I think someone was interested, but I'll let you know if that falls through.

[And boy, could cats hold a grudge Dray knew it all too well, being one.

He turns towards the hissing and after spotting the angry cat Dray meows softly at him. Whatever he's saying, it sounds reassuring. Then he moves towards Fai and reaches out to carefully hold his wrist and bring his arm closer to his face for inspection.]

All right, I can always wait for adoption. He did quite the number on you.

Could potentially be the reason, but who really knows.

[fai paused for a moment, he wasn't really expecting the inspection, so being a little surprised was an understatement.]

Uh, yeah. It doesn't hurt as much as it did like thirty minutes ago, though.

It wouldn't surprise me. Eidions have very good memory and you all say we resemble cats so...

[Dray pauses a moment to give Fai time to get used to his touch and then gives him a reassuring smile. Uncapping the small bottle of ointment, he pours some over the worst looking of the scars.]

I remember every single person who ever did me wrong...quite a few after ten years. [ And all of them are dead now but nothing of value was lost.] I also remember those who helped me.

Cat's never forget.

[It's probably why that one is an ass. Someone did something wrong and he remembered. But he is quiet for a moment as he watched what he did before speaking again.]

So long as you don't...stay stuck in your past, remembering isn't a bad thing. Someone I know would say something like that.

Neither do crows and they're more vengeful than cats. Word of advice, never cross one or the whole group will come after you. There's a reason why a flock of crows is called 'murder'.

Dray went back to focus his attention on Fai's injuries. ] You need to keep the ointment and apply it to the scratches twice a day. That way those won't get infected or leave scars.

I think I can do that at least.

[If there ewas one thing he didn't nessissarily want it was scars.]

Do I need to come and cover you in oil myself?

[Dray's words had a dramatic flare to it, as it he was talking about an arduous task.]

[He does laugh, however.]

Another day, hm? Very well.[ There's a smile on Dray's face at the idea.]

I liked mine with honey. [The scratches have been taken care of but he keeps on massaging Fai's hand, working out the muscles of his palm.] I can keep the cat today if you want, give you a break. Maybe it only needs to unwind.

Tea with honey. Never had that before.

[He nodded slightly, it probably was the best idea if the cat did go with them, mostly because otherwise they would have to go home with him. He moved his hand slightly]

I think that would be a good idea. Otherwise, he would have to go home with me and my Pokemon would probably defend me and I don't want that.

Are your legs like scratching posts?

[Just because he has ridiculously long legs means nothing. In fact, it was clear it was his cheek as well and potentially other areas.]

I think to him, my whole body is one giant scratching post.

Ouch.

[Wince.] Okay try wrapping up thick everything, and maybe beekeeper mask, and find out slowly what the cat's problem is.

It might be that you smell like catnip. Or, it's abused, and thinks you want to kill it.

Does it do this to anyone else?

I think a cat could potentially get through a beekeeper mask, but I'll find some way to keep him at bay or stop him from stretching.

[Finding out the problem in his mind seemed easier said than done. But he was tempted.]

No, just me. He keeps his distance from other cats though.
