[Video]
[It was in the evening hours when the video comes on, Anastasia was wearing her favorite Sylveon-themed nightgown, complete with a Sylveon ear hood up on her head. An actual Sylveon can be seen in the background, sleeping on its back on the girl's bed.]
I have a question about the Holodeck'd. Is it possible to use it to play hypothetical scenarios from your own home world? Like, see what happens if you had done something differently?
Or perhaps see what would happen if one were to confront a coming challenge as one is now?

As for scenarios... I would think it depends on how you program it. Someone with sufficient skill could probably arrange such a scenario for you.

I wonder who has the skill to do so? I assume Guardian Haller is, but I'd rather not bother him.

[She'd suggest chaos, but 1: she doesn't know him, and 2: that would be too much like playercest. So, sorry Ana, she doesn't really know anyone who can help with the technology.]
What sort of challenge are you looking for, if I may ask? I may not be able to emulate your home, but I might be able to arrange something suitable.

[She means the one with the silly shoes.]
As for the challenge, it's a little hard to explain... Let's say I have a power no on else has, and I want to re-experience the trials I underwent, as well as see how the final challenge will play out.

In theory I can program it to do just that and come up with the most likely out come. There are problems to that. The first of which is that people in your memory or how you know them are rarely how they truly are. The further away we get from when you remember some and how, the more they'll deviate from how you view them and change. People are static. This will also effect the outcomes of the scenario giving you an error rating of over 25%.
For the record, most engineers try to keep their errors to plus or minus 5%. This wouldn't be a worthy rating and hence not worth the time put into it.

I know how it can feel, to be the only one with a strange power. I may be able to help you relive the trials, but it won't be through the use of technology. I have an ability called the Echo - with it, I can sometimes walk in the living memories of others, and in so doing re-experience them along with the person involved. It's not without its dangers - both of us will be incapacitated while it's happening, and the reaction headache is terrifying. But it's a possibility.

[Words can't explain what that must be like.]
If you can walk the memories of someone, would it be possible to influence the future?

[A pause.]
Or actually just attempt to try it anyway without asking and see what happens.

Re: Text
My trials involved God-like beings. They tested my capacity for magic through combat.
Text
If that is the case then the parameters you need might not be available in the system. Computers have limits and I do not know the range of your magic or the beings you want to simulate.
Re: video;
But if I try just playing with it, won't it be unsafe?
Re: Text
What about simulating space travel? Can the Holodeck'd be used to do that?
Re: Text
Re: Text
I want to make plans to do that sometime. I don't know when, though.
video;
I guess if people don't clock on quickly how things work.
