I wanted to thank all the people who offered to help me when I first arrived, I really appreciated it. My name is Scott summers, nice to meet you properly.

I’m afraid I have yet another request, is anybody a fashion assistant? I need new clothes. [As if that weren’t obvious. It occur to Scott a second later that this sounds as if he doesn’t know how to dress himself. Which is technically true.]

Due to my eye condition, I’m color blind. I know the different colors and their names but I can't see them. I need help so I don't clash or make a color pairing mistake.

I try to do that but I have difficulty telling if something is dark blue, dark brown, or black. I can only see in shades of red.

And I actually like wearing lighter colors.

Well, for starters, because is the only clothes I have. They're very comfortable and long lasting but not exactly suited for every occasion.

I don't have all that much money so that could work. [He's got a job already but he's still getting used to this world and Scott still needs to find a place to live.]

Light blue but also warm colors like yellows. All those are colors I can not see anymore but I remember them.

Okay. So light tan khaki's. Light blue shirts. I think the only yellow and blue is plaid and I would highly suggest you don't weird plaid. [because plaid is gross.] Dark brown belt and shoes or black but brown goes better with lighter colors. It's less startling.

Don't take fashion advice from Jaune or the "all black" gothy-emo chick if you know what's good for you.

[ She's not an expert on fashion or anything, being more about function than impracticality to look good, but she's pretty sure those two shouldn't have their advice taken. ]

Your first offer of help is Jaune. He wore a bunny hoodie I think is from collecting cereal box tops and jeans most days of his life back home. It hasn't improved much here.

And anyone who says "wear all black" is usually too scared to wear anything that might be unflattering on them in the first place. Don't know the other guy. Don't ask me for help.

Scott nods slightly, memorizing all that.] Got it. Someone suggested I find a clerk store, since I do I'll ask for those specific clothes. And plaid is really...not my thing.

[He scrunches his nose at the though.] It's too hot for that too.

If you talked to a store clerk I suggest you be specific. Ask for one pair of pants. Two shirts and a handful of white undershirts. Ties are overrated, and please don't be one of those guys who wear jewelry.

Oh, him. [Scott raises his eyebrows as she goes on on her explanation.] Him and Bobby would become instant best friends if he where here.

Jeans aren't so bad. And I actually likes lighter and warmer colors, which is why I ask for help. Black is the only color I can figure out without problems.

[He smiles a little at the 'don't ask me for help' part.]

I already don't like the necklace we have to keep on us to move around the cities, I won't be adding any more of it to my wardrobe. They're tacky.
