WHO: 10th Doctor & Prompts & OTA
WHERE: Various locations
WHEN: End of August - September 3rd
WARNINGS: Update as needed
Mirajane, Rose and 10 at Fairy Haven
This is an interesting request to lunch meet - he almost swears that she's figured out that besides needing to sleep regularly that drinking is out of the question - unless he wants to get wasted and that hang over was not worth it. In the meantime he's going to kick his feet on the table with his sandshoes and play with his yellow yo-yo.
10 and Milton in Everglade
As Dammers prowls around the foggy area of Everglade, with the snarling trees and flickering lamp posts -might notice that something is only slightly out of place. Which would be that 1960's London Police Box resting on the street corner. Slightly out of place because it's not rusting or dirty or having vines growing on it.
10 and Emma at Geraldi's Pizzeria
It's Ten's turn to bring food back tonight and obviously pizza is the completely the right choice. Though the employee taking the order when asking for Ten's name and getting, 'The Doctor' in reply, stares at Ten as if - you know if this was a phone call, they'd think it was a prank call order.
Then proceeds to a booth and rests his sandshoes on the table.
10 and Captain Jack in Tardis
The Doctor is floating in the Zero Room and if he is disturbed, Sexy most find the issue to be the utmost important. It's a rather plain looking room. No furniture. White and smells like roses.
10 and Martha at hospital
The Doctor, needless to say, isn't the fondest one of hospitals but he did tell Martha he'd come to dinner. Even if he'd rather brave an entire fleet of Sycorax than be in a hospital.
10 and Amy in Attleton
The Doctor is sneaking around the subarchways when he finds himself in - domestic vile and as much as he'd fuss about it playful with Rose - he remembers when he thought he lost the Tardis on that planet orbiting that black hole. He couldn't have given her that because he'd still outlive her but it's what she wants. With him. Or wanted. Or something he's not sure anymore. He's just going to mosey around a bit don't mind him. Try to figure out why that sort of life is so appealing.

Jack isn't sure how to tactfully bring up what he's thinking of but he tries his best anyway. "Doctor....do you....do you understand what you mean to me?"

One of Ten's hands gently searches for one of Jack's and interlaces, and the man who will/has hurt you and tossed you aside with the others because The Doctor was a coward to keep caring.
Continues to eye Jack in the eyes and whispers, "Your life?"

Jack closes his eyes and swallows hard. "Yes Doctor," he muttered, "I owe you that...so much, but you and Rose....you mean so much more than that. I gave you my name.....my real name. Only my Time Agent partner and my brother knew it before you. That isn't something people from the Boe just give away."
He sighs again. "Doctor I don't want.....dammit. I'm not just looking for sex when I flirt....I'm looking for connection."

"I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I know I'm taking and being needy and not giving enough in return."
And there slowly goes his high good mood - and feels the inside of his head twist and turn in the all the wrong ways again. He just wants to be happy again. He's scared of losing people. Horrified.
And holds Jack tighter and wraps his legs around Jack as best he can.
"We're suffocating each other slowly.She says I don't need her but I do. She doesn't understand that people like you and me love differently.... And she's not happy with me having left you behind. We're all hurting each other. I - I just don't know what to do."

"I don't know what to do either Doctor," Jack said, "before I came here....I got the chance to be mortal again...for a bit. And it scared me. I was so used to being invincible that getting the chance to die scared the hell out of me. I want everything for you and Martha and Rose...but I want things for myself too. And being with you...it's one of the things I want. I want the same thing with Rose too and I want you both to be happy together."
Jack sighs softly. "Being as old as I am just makes things so complicated."

bloodycoward. Not being to tell Rose when he had the chance at the high school. Not being able to tell Martha that someone saw Martha when he someone had to be human - and sighs with Jack at the same time. You wanted this too, huh, Jack. There's a slight pat on Jack's cheek. Problem is - Ten couldn't stand looking at you before to be very honest, Jack. Even the Tardis tried shaking Jack off but you are probably the person who understands things the most."Maybe you can talk with her. Maybe it will help." Because anything he says isn't going too.

Jack sighed. "I know I need to, but I just don't know where to start no matter how hard I try the words just won't come for once." Which is weird even for him, Jack Harkness is normally not the one lost for words. "Sometimes I wish....."

Jack sighs and manages a smile for the Doctor. "I know I shouldn't admit to that, but I know you get it," he says, "my heart is too full and I'm just so old."
