Can unicorns and regular horses create offspring?

I was afraid of that. Will the foal be more like the unicorn or the horse? Or something in between?

Generally speaking it'll be more like a horse. Unicorns are very rare for a reason, and the reason for that is only two unicorns can produce a unicorn.

[Well at least that's the way it worked from her research on the matter.]

The foal may end up being a bit more remarkable than the average horse though, perhaps a bit more intelligent or faster... it can be a bit unpredictable at times.

Really? That's fascinating! You see, until I arrived here, I was firmly of the belief unicorns were, in fact, myths. I stand corrected.

And to learn they are inter-species capable...that's...well, something to remember, certainly, and to note.

Well, the stuff of legends and beyond are real in these cities.

The lady familiar with unicorns tells me the foal will be a horse. Who knows if unicorns are the same.

Natives were kinda shocked that it happened since unicorns usually stay away from places humans hang out in.

I can't think of why not. I mean the difference between a unicorn and a horse is the horn and the fact unicorns are magical. I assume everything else like reproduction would be the same.

So for me it was simply a guess.

Well, they're real in Fayren, and I figured some people came from places where they exist.

Or at least heard about more stories.
Where I'm from, we consider horses great as they are, so there's no need to add mystical horns.

Sadly, I do not. I lived in a city back home, so there really wasn't room for such things.

In my time, even city folk can ride horses.
