Action - Open
WHO: Ice Bear, Open
WHERE: Genessia Area
WHEN: September 11th
WARNINGS: None
Having arrived a couple of days ago, Ice Bear had just been trying to take things in and keeping an eye out for his brothers. They were bound to turn up after all. But they hadn't and he was getting antsy, so he finally left to get more familiar with the city, get some food, and maybe find a fridge. He missed having a proper space to sleep.
Using the phone might have been the faster way to ask about an appliance store, but he wasn't that big into using smartphones. The one he'd owned for awhile had been neat and a great way to play games with Grizz, but phones were Panda's thing not his. So he'd just have to do it the old fashioned way. And the walk would distract him from his missing brothers.
After tucking his phone safely into his armpit, the polar bear left his room and wandered out into the city.

Just what had he gotten himself into?
He looked at the bear warily, looking uneasy because really, powers aside he wasn't sure he could fight a bear if he had to. He was a horrible fighter, besides.
"Hello." He said cautiously, uncertain.

Staying quiet, he waited to see where this would go. If it went nowhere, this store seemed to be boasting some good sushi.

"It's...a nice day...right?"
Okay, that was just painful. Natsuno had never been terribly good at social interaction, which was why perhaps animals were easier to speak to.

A tall, white, fuzzy creature was not one of those things.
She'd never seen one before, but she knew what it was. A bear. Like those plush toys for children. Except, real. And walking around. What were bears supposed to be like? Dorothy didn't know.
After staring for an unfortunately long period of time, she began following the bear, curious.

He said nothing though, waiting for her to do something.

She couldn't just say, 'Are you a bear?' Because clearly this was a bear.
Likewise, she couldn't just say, 'You're a bear.' It'd be like some person approaching her and blandly saying she was a robot. Tiresome.
Eventually, she figured it was for the best if she apologized, and explained herself. It would be honest, and if she offended, she would own up to the offense. It'd be more than she was usually given herself, if people treated her differently for being an android.
Dorothy drew up so she was even with Ice Bear, and tried to meet his gaze.
"I'm sorry for following you. I had never seen a bear before. This was rude of me."
Her face was very calm, and her voice was polite, if not particularly expressive.

"Ice Bear understands your curiosity," he replied in a quiet monotone that was barely above a whisper.
no subject
"My name is R. Dorothy Wayneright," she said. After all, Ice Bear did introduce himself, after a fashion. She never blinked, and while her voice was not really a monotone, it didn't seem to convey any particular emotion.
Considering this, she didn't seem bothered by Ice Bear's mannerisms. "It's a nice to meet you, Mr. Bear."

But first things first, Haru had to buy a couple of things first. One of those things having to be some plant feed. She was inches away from perfecting the soil she had been working the past few months on. As she turned a corner, knowing the shop she needed was a few blocks away she couldn't help but find herself stopping for a moment.
Was that a polar bear? It was a strange sight to behold. It was so strange the young girl took a moment or two to even say something. "Hello... If you can understand me of course."
She didn't understand why she was talking to a bear, they won't understand her, right?
no subject
He turned slowly to look at the girl, his expression very neutral. When he replied, the quiet monotone of his voice made him seem even more neutral.
"Ice Bear understands."
no subject
"That's actually pretty amazing. Though sorry if I am surprised." She moved to move slightly before she spoke again.
"I am taking a guess, but you are new around here, right?"
