Well I know he's been a good boss so far. Nice guy all around, and a good City Guardian, I think. And given that City Guardians are elected, seems that a lot of other people think he's doing alright. He used to have just one deputy for a while, but not to long after I arrived he decided to change things up a bit and bring on some more help. That's when Ashlyn, Enis, and I were hired.

And he's not the kind of guy that wants a position like City Guardian just because it pays well or because it means he has authority; he genuinely wants to look out for the people here and help protect the city. Like for example, there was a breach in the shield around the city not long before I arrived, and after it got sealed he personally did patrols of the cities to check and make sure there weren't still any of the creatures from outside lurking around that might cause trouble. Technically he only has to protect Genessia, but he wanted to make sure everybody was safe.

Plus he was apparently here when the shields had been breached once before, and used what he'd learned from that to help prepare to deal with the one that happened more recently, trying to minimize the damage. And we're working on doing the same with what people learned from the more recent one, in case it happens again.

Doctor Moore used to help out at the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation but she went home some time ago, and I've worked directly with Guardian Haller for some time. Or, I did.

[ Youngest retiree in the world. Oops. ] I'm sure I can set something up. What's it about?

Why did you stop? [though scientific research foundation sounds promising] Mostly I'm looking for the work he supposedly did on the creatures beyond the barrier. Some sort of weapon was involved?

I recently resigned as City Guardian of Nova City. While there are still some things that I'm sure we'll work together on, I did work with him on the distribution system for those weapons and I do have one. They're essentially forged and bound with captured spirits that were captured using sealing pots from Everglade, then brought to Fayren to use their magic to bind them to the weapons. Most of the weapons aren't very advanced because of it, and probably the most advanced is an automatic crossbow. Because the weapons have actual spirits bound to them, they do cause an emotional drain on the user similar to the effect the spirits have but at a far slower rate and regular bed rest will let you recover usually. They're the only thing we've managed to actually stop them with, regular weapons you can disperse them with but they reform after a short time, so it's really only good for being able to get away until you run into the next one. I borrowed rocket lockers from a subarchway I both opened and have since closed to make sure they could be distributed throughout the subarchways within only a few seconds in case of emergency. Anything beyond that he would have to answer, though.

I may not be a scientist, but I founded it and do the fundraisers to keep it going. Or you can just go there or Schnee Company, all the information is public and shared with my brother's company since they're more about distribution and the GSRF is about discovery.
