uhhhh. genessia's new hit telenovela?
[ Life had been going through a lot of changes for Emerald. First the fight with Cassian over something most people would think was her being stupid (which is why she was sure Mercury wouldn't side with her on it) but it was important to her. Mercury was City Guardian now (co-guardian, whatever, who cared about Garrus). Jaune had disappeared and he was her pet project keeping her from lashing out too badly, and shortly after she started this weird 'destroy David' thing with Max, Max disappeared leaving her a little concerned about exactly what to do with that situation but she was kind of in deep now and with Jaune gone destroying the world's happiest man's heart and soul was probably just about the next best form of entertainment.
And yet none of it could've prepared her for what she was watching on television- what was on prime time on everyone's televisions that night. If anything made her life seem normal, it was the comparison to this. The secret project she'd been approached by a one Dave Strider for that was airing for the first time tonight thanks to Prime Time Film & Television and would be on weekly until the end of its run.
Corazón Rebelde de Fayren.
It felt like Emerald's stomach was rebelling against her though, not her heart. Oh well. Shh, stomach, the show was starting. Thank god she didn't tell anyone she knew about this. Feel free to text/call/knock on her door to harass her as she hides in her tiny apartment under her numerous throw blankets. ]

[ The show starts introducing a young woman by the name of Raquel riding a horse at a casual pace through the forests of Fayren. She's not wearing nice clothes but certainly not terrible ones. They're form-fitting, though concealed beneath a brown cloak so it's hard to get a close look. The first scene is about her asking about two people, who she reveals to be her parents. She's from a faraway land and she's been traveling to find her family, the last information of which she got about said they were in the land of Fayren. A drunk man from the bar she's asking information at tries to hit on her and then gets violent when she says no, starting an epic fight scene that results in a man being thrown off of a second story and breaking a table in his fall, the whole bar breaking out into a fight as she rides off, having been the one who threw the man off the second story as a distraction to get out.
As she's riding further toward the city, a snake spooks her horse and knocks her off, then running into a royal servant. As if the first fight wasn't enough, this spurs a series of events that Raquel could not have planned for: A royal message that the man was carrying rolled off and was picked up rather suddenly by a masked man with pectoral muscles for days and chesthair peaking through his opened button-up shirt, only closed at the bottom where it was tucked into his very tight leather pants that clearly accentuated one fact: he was packing and it wasn't a gun because this is Fayren. He said nothing, fleeing into the trees with what appeared to be some kind of grappling hook that worked far easier than any grappling hook ever could in real life. The man who had originally had the message stood up and moved over to Raquel, brushing his pants off and shaking his head, his hairtie falling out and revealing a beautiful mane of chocolate tresses, only accentuating his square features and a penetrating gaze that filled the air with a thousand passions. Raquel took a moment to gather herself, both from shock at the turn of events and being caught in his eyes. But it didn't last for a moment.
He grabbed her wrist, asking her what she had just done! She tried to pull away, explaining she was here to find her family. He explained that the message that had just been stolen had been detrimental to Fayren's domestic security- a message from the king and queen to the knights at the outskirts of the kingdom, though he didn't know the top secret details as he had been sworn not to look. He explained that he was a servant in the royal court, and they would kill him for losing such an important message. Raquel looked away, guilty that her desire to reunite her family had put a man's life in danger, then with a fierce determination she looked back to him, swearing she would get it back. His life was in her hands now, and though he was a known member of the court, no one knew her. She could sneak into the gang of thieves whose leader, a man known as Alfonzo the Rebel, had just stolen the message, but she must first at least know the name of the man whose life was in her hands.
"Thiago Espiga," he said, his voice deep and sultry, the very sound of his name shaking her to her core.
A few scenes pass, as Thiago and Raquel get to know each other a little more and he fills her in about the gang, known as the Corbatas Rebels. A gang who, despite being in Fayren, seemed to be dressed in dress shirts and ties. Very sexy, and plenty of people around Fayren didn't question it, as they were probably brought over by Pendant Users. The gang often rebelled against the crown, calling themselves rebels of the people but in reality they were little more than thugs who stole for themselves.
In a separate scene, transitioned over to as Thiago finishes his narration in the world's smoothest voice (it could turn on a woman just from the sound of it, his former lovers would say- and they would know), we see Alfonzo-- no last name, the Beyonce of the Corbatas Rebels-- explaining his plan to his chosen family, his gang. He would take care of them forever and be able to free those who had been taken hostage by the royal family's prisons, now that they had the message. Some might call it blackmail, he called it leverage for hostage negotiation and food on the table. The Corbatas cheered and raised a glass to him, the plot revealed for now.
Back to Raquel and Thiago, the two were staging a heist. Not an actual heist, and Thiago had spoken to the knights around the area to let them know what was going on. They were close friends of his, and would not speak a word of what was going on, but would make sure that they did not get arrested as they had no actual intention of stealing anything. The subject of the heist, however, was rumored to be the next target of the Corbatas Rebels. It would surely get their attention, and putting Raquel in their sights as a skilled thief would be an in for her. However, they did not plan for the Corbatas Rebels to be there at the same time as their heist. It was supposed to have been rumors that lead them to Raquel.
And yet.
Alfonzo was there at that very moment, stealing the very item that Raquel was supposed to be fake stealing. The two banter for a moment, and Alfonzo says he remembers her- the girl who allowed him to steal the message. He suggests it is fate, and his opened shirt seems even more open as he approaches her, putting his hand on her cheek and kissing her rather passionately. She pushes him away, then slaps him across the cheek, but she is unable to get him out of her head.
Later that night, he steals away through her inn window, sitting in the sill and backlit against the moonlight. He doesn't come in, instead saying that he liked her gumption and asking if she wanted to work with the Corbatas on their next job. She was in. She said she would have to think about it and he said if she decided yes, he would meet her where she first fell off of her horse in the woods the next day. She did, and he promised that he would not kiss her again- that when they kissed next, it would be she who could not resist him. She promised that would not be a day that happened, but her voice wavered.
Thiago watched in the distance, and when Alfonzo and Raquel separated, he told her that she could not fall in love for that devil. He couldn't bear the thought of seeing someone as beautiful as her taken in by such a scoundrel, especially if it was to save his life. Uh oh, a love triangle. Just then, there's the sound of cracking twigs in the background as a strange woman comes out of the bushes, holding a sword to Raquel's neck from behind her.
"You..!" Thiago exclaims, shocked to see someone he clearly recognized ambushing them in the dark just as he had been about to lean in to bring his full, lucious lips against Raquel's.
Who is this mysterious stranger? Will Raquel survive long enough to give into her passions and fall for Alfonzo despite her better judgment or will she trust Thiago? Will Thiago get his message back, or will he face the gallows for Raquel's mistake? Will Raquel find her family? Find out on the next episode of Corazón Rebelde de Fayren.
And for those who were watching, they might note that Raquel's actress is very clearly Emerald. And she's actually pretty damn good at it. Oops. ]

action, it's in his fucking house of course he's seeing this
[ She might not have noticed him watching the whole thing from the doorway - he could have grabbed a seat but she may have changed the channel if she knew he was there, so keeping his presence a secret was the better plan, he thought. ]
So, how long have you avoided telling me about this?
action
In my defense, it's really stupid. Like really stupid. It gets way worse than this.
no subject
[ He wastes no further time in approaching the couch, hopping over the back of it to land solidly on the seat at her side. ]
So, how many episodes until the sex scene?
no subject
[ clothed sex whatever. Emerald was very clear she want showing anything. She pulls her throw up so it covers over her collar bone now. ]
Episode two for another girl, my first one isn't until 6.
no subject
[ He can't help it as he breaks out into laughter, raising a hand to cover his face while his head rolls back. ]
And it's not even my birthday!
no subject
[ It's a job with free food, expected bitchiness from the star, and she's actually good at it because she's a really good liar and is good at following directions/orders. ]
Thiago actually tried to proposition me at one point but I told him I had a boyfriend.
[ She's kind of wondering if she should scare Mercury into thinking it's him or tell him about David the potential. ]

My dearest pistachio-haired goddess.
I was at my lowest point in my life, going through three separate divorces simultaneously when your delightful, perfect curves only offset by your incomparable performance pulled me out of the dark to give me hope again. I could only empathize fully with Rachel, as I two have searched for my family only to be distracted by pectoral muscles that should physically be impossible and hair better than my own.
But I digress, for none of them could compare to you. Raphael's story had me captured, from the chemistry she shared with Figaro to that other guy, Albert or whatever. But while I recover from my life-threatening illness, I want you to know.
I am always here for you if you get sick of those two.
Sincerely and forever yours,
Your Secret Admirer
