I know I passed out doing an all-nighter, but I didn't think I was gonna wake up here. Anybody know where to find a towel? Exploring's more fun when you haven't fallen in the ocean. Or wherever this is.

I also kinda soaked the welcome pamphlet, so help reading it would be great.

Yuri said she's picking me up from the Bay. I kinda soaked my map, so I'd get lost otherwise. No way I'm trying the broom again. It dumped me in the water in the first place.

[ Almost as if on cue, Yuri is heading out the door at the exact same moment as Battler... ]

[ At which point Yuri makes a perfectly calm declaration: ] You can't have her.

This is definitely going to be a race. Yuri looks like she's staring Battler down. At the first sign of movement from him, she's going to break out into a run. ]

[ YURI GOES DASHING AFTER HIM! She's totally going to grab his collar and tug him back if she gets close enough! ]

[DODGING HER GRAB?! and he jumps down the stairs, opens the door, and is now on the street with her running towards the bay!!

[ Yuri jumps right after him, absolutely no concern for herself despite not being dead anymore. She's well-trained enough to be able to pull off some ridiculous stunts like jumping off stories and doing dodge rolls and such, so she's going to try to take a shortcut that involves leaping over a fence!!

SHE. WILL. BEAT. YOU. BATTLER! ]

running still!! and he's jumping down more flights of stairs as he reaches them, soon turning to where the bay is located!!

and she's no where to be seen, surely he's in the lead... right?!]

[ Yuri comes in from the side, uwaaah! Is she like a foot ahead of him!? It might not matter for more than a few seconds since he has longer legs though, uhg.

SHE'S STILL TRYING. Neither of them are actually going to be able to say hi to Kano once they reach her because they'll both be out of breath at this rate.. ]

*And there is a soaked, dripping Kano, carrying her things bundled in her jacket under one arm and holding the misbehaving broom in the other. She laughs at the two of them once she spots them running down the road.*

with how fast battler is running he doubts he'll even be able to stop, so it's a race to see who can tackle kano first.]

[ Yuri's coming in for the tackle too! They're probably all going to be squished under Battler's weight! ]

*Kano puts up her arms to block but is sent careening into the water again.

[yuri tackled kano, battler tackled yuri.... it was a mess and yup they're all in the water now.

battler pushed himself up and look down at the two of them...]

..Ah! Yuri won! She got to Kano...! What is thiiis, no fair!

[ Yuri doesn't particularly care that they're wet. She's been dealing with multiple water Pokemon, she's started wearing a bathing suit underneath her clothes already-- either way, Yuri got off of Kano as soon as Battler was off of her, looking smug as anything. ]

*Kano rubs her aching head.* I missed you too.

[they're all just sitting in the water now... wowow.]

I didn't think I'd ever see anyone else from the community besides Yuri....! What a rush!

[ Yuri scoots over to Kano, like she's switched sides suddenly, drawing her clenched hand up to her mouth like she's been betrayed. ]

Though, Kano's coming home with me so I guess it's okay.
