Who: Aya and Selphie
What: Taking on a bounty- Penalty Killer
When: October 9th and some change.

Warnings: Violence eventually?
After taking up the bounty, rather quickly, Aya wasted little time scouting the areas where the murders took place. With no real pattern, it was hard to track the suspect, which lead him to stake out several spots on a nightly basis. Eventually Selphie found out after a few nights of coming home later than usual, which lead to her coming with him. Perhaps they could cover more ground with two of them. He has to change his patrol, then, to suit two people. So they go undercover as two students, walking home together. Aya had a few books in his arms and his now usual case for his sword, which would normally be used for posters. He even dressed the part.
He looked to Selphie as they walked. "I think after this area, we can scout out elsewhere if nothing comes up." It would look super suspicious if they went up and down the block aimlessly. They could drive somewhere (by renting a car) or hide in the trees. "What do you think?"

Dressing up as a student was fun. Selphie had even got a pair of plastic glasses to wear and she felt very intellectual with those and a small satchel, which contained her nunchucks. "I think that's a good idea. But we scout together, right?"

He really couldn't believe that she was alright with his late night escapades. But it was better than what he thought would happen. An angry Selphie. Not something he'd want to be on the receiving end of.
"Things have been pretty quiet for a few days, so don't be surprised if nothing crops up." He doubted they would strike it lucky and encounter the murderer this night, which may mean more nights of patrolling, which Selphie may or may not like. Who knows. "In case things don't work out, what do you want to do for the rest of the evening?"

"Oh?" She grinned and linked her arm with his, looking up at his face in amusement. "So the options are bounty hunting or a hot date, hmm?" She didn't mind, though. Just walking with him was nice.

Aya could only give a slightly nervous smile at her question. "Well, when you put it that way..." It really was a no-brainer. Just then they heard a sound of something shattering inside a home to their left, making Aya pause in his stride. The lights weren't on, however, which to anyone else would just be something ordinary. Anyone could knock over something in the dark. But most people who lived in their homes for a while would know where everything was, even in the dark.
"We might have to delay that date."
