1st Hunt | [Video]
[The feed turns on to... oh. There's an accidental shot of a lady's "assets" while there's a curious hum heard.]
I suppose I need to get to know you now, huh~? What a peculiar thing...
[She's not actually talking to the network, as evidenced by the feed getting a look around a street of Genessia City around her and there's a brief glance at what seemed to be a skeletal hound of some kind next to her legs. When the device is actually turned up to the dark-haired woman's face, she looks a bit surprised.]
Oh dear, I must have turned it on by accident. Good evening, dears.
[She holds the device out a little further away from her to frame herself better and she puts a finger to her cheek.]
I've found myself quite a ways from home, and now without work if my learnings are anything to go by. [So much of her prey in Everglade, but she can't touch them due to laws. How curious that monsters have rights somewhere.] I don't suppose there's anyone out there who can maybe help a lady out? Or, may I be better off looking at this "Schnee Company" instead?
And where might a good place to get a bite to eat be this late at night? I saw a bright, lively little tavern nearby but I haven't eaten in quite a while, so a drink can wait for another time.
[She hums again, then narrows an eye at the feed.]
Oh, and... if anyone here may know of a particular man with brown hair, a drab blue jacket and responds to to the name 'Liam?' I'd be very appreciative if you would direct me to him. I have... business with him, shall we say.
Have a good night, darlings~
[She blows a kiss and the feed ends.]

[She paused.]
I must admit I cannot help you with anything else.
video;
[She's gone way longer than she would have liked without food at this point, but alas, meal time had to be pushed back often with her line of work.]
I'm in Genessia, yes, but I'll go to any of the other cities right now so long as there's a good meal I can get ahold of. Where might this diner be?

[Action] - Because I can
The demon hunter would even see the same phone she's using floating by Ayame, along with a pendant around her neck that sticks out thanks to the white dress she's wearing. Ayame sees Tanya wandering around along with that skeletal hound, realizing that she too has a dog along side her. She wouldn't be out this late if Himiko didn't want to go on another walk along Genessia. Himiko, being the excitable wolfdog that she is, gives Tanya's pet a bark that startled Ayame out of her reverie. A jolt and high-pitched yelp manage to escape her lips, flipping those night-driving glasses on her head down to her eyes all awkwardly. ]
Oh, I wish you'd stop doing that...
[ Ayame's a little highly caffeinated so it was easy to startle her tonight. She sighs, shooting an apologetic glance at Tanya and her pet ]
I apologize for that, my dog didn't mean to be aggressive. It's just her way of saying hello.

Oh, that's quite alright. Hey cutie~.
["Cutie" could have easily been directed at either Ayame or Himiko, as she said it before leaning over to get a better look at Himiko. She let out an energetic hum as she looked back to Ayame.]
Your dog is gorgeous. Speaking of gorgeous, that dress is lovely on you. Wherever did you get it?
[Because wherever it was, she may have to swing by. She has no qualms throwing her current stash of money away on clothing. Guess she needs to make sure she gets a job and a new place fast.]
no subject
I made it myself, actually.
[ Ayame gives a shy shrug, feeling a tug on her lips as some pride in her latest artwork shows through her actions ]
Welcome to Genessia, by the way. Your video marked your arrival from mere minutes ago, yet you're holding up fine for a stranger in a distant world.

This is all your handiwork? [She couldn't even try to hide the excitement in her voice.] Do you happen to have a shop?
[She knows she gets a little carried away sometimes, but it's not often you find someone so handy in textiles and sewing. She smiles then, shaking her head.]
Ah, thank you, I've been here a few hours actually. I'd only just decided to start playing with this little trinket. [She waves the device in her hand.] I thought it best to get a handle on the setting before diving in with the little stuff.
And, you know, just making sure certain people I happen to be after didn't set up a trap for me. Which I'm happy to say doesn't appear to be the case.

A smart move. Many new arrivals can't seem to hold it in and use the coms the minute they step out of the Bay.
[ Ayame tilts her head, making her hair bounce and frame her soft smirking lips ]
But yes, you're right that I do own a shop.
[ Ayame merely swipes her hand, and a business card appears in her fingers. The card has a matte black finish with gold lettering, smelling of fresh irises, bearing the name of Ayame herself and the shop that has become her pride and joy: Atelier Iris. In the back is the address, hours of operation, and a phone number. Ayame's smirk broadens into a warm smile, happy that she met someone who seems to have good taste in fashion, along with being a potential customer ]
You should come by sometime.
[ Ayame said as she began to walk, passing by Tanya's side and giving her skeletal dog a quick acknowledging glance. It seems Ayame is fine with ending their meeting then and there, but she stops and turns to look over her shoulder ]
If you're still famished, I know a place.

[That certainly sounded like it was the case with the way that Weiss girl worded it. It must be annoying listening to new arrivals sometimes.
She lets out an impressed whistle when the card appears in her hand, eagerly taking it and looking over the information. She hummed and nodded, tucking the card into her jacket's inner pocket.]
You're Ayame, hm? Name's Tanya, and with any luck, you may be seeing me quite a bit when I get myself a job here. I'll need to rebuild my wardrobe here.
[She likes her black leather outfit, but she needs more options in her life. She needs to be able to look good all the time in more than just the same thing.]
Oh, that would be a great help. I haven't gotten myself anywhere to eat yet. Where is it?

[ Fast-forward a few blocks, Ayame leads Tanya into a quiet and dimly lit back street. But soon it made itself known, the place that Ayame mentioned is a hidden neighborhood ramen shop. The aroma of various spices waft at her and Himiko's nose. Too bad Himiko and Tanya's pet would have to stay outside. The sign says in bright neon: "Times New Ramen", in the Comic Sans font just to be painful ]
Hope you like carbs this time of night. This shop caters to graveyard shift workers of Genessia, and me, whenever I feel like sleep isn't going to happen that night.
[ Ayame smiles, sliding the door of the ramen shop open to immediately see the chefs at work. Seats are lined up like a bar, with no booths or separate tables. ]
I'll have my usual tonkotsu, sir. Make that two.
[ She ordered for Tanya, confident that she'll like it. While their dishes are being prepped, Ayame looks to Tanya ]
Nice coat, by the way.

You're in luck - the Schnee Company, it seems, has managed to find you instead.
Whitley Schnee, happy to help however I may.
video
Oh~? Luck certainly is on my side. Your company's projection was quite helpful, my thanks for it.
[Internally, she was a little surprised that this is the owner of the company that the hologram had mentioned. She'd have expected the CEO to be... well... less of a shrimp.]
I believe I have a decent grasp but on the situation, but I'd like to make sure before I begin looking for a job proper... do the businesses here happen to hire through your company? Or are you just the handy information pool to make finding one easier?
video
[ No mention whatsoever that he had literally nothing to do with the hologram going up in the first place. All for the image of the company! ]
We aren't directly involved in hiring for other companies, no, but if you need assistance in finding a job to your liking we can help to guide you in the right direction. Unless, of course, you were going to apply for a job with the Schnee Company itself.

Good evening, miss. If you are new, you would find a room for you in the welcome building. They have a kitchen with free food you can take until you get more settled.
I don't think I've heard about that man but you could check if his name is listed int he CPU of the communicator.
