But the proximity to Koishi made actually reading the thing a bit more difficult. And, from what 11 could gather, she didn't seem to have been put together quite right. She also seemed to be actively disrupting any sort of psychic energy around her. Like a black hole.
"How long?" Koishi blinked. "It's going to be snowy again soon, right? This will be the fourth time seeing snow." Someone should really teach her to read a calendar. "My age is different. I'm five hundred and sixteen years old now. I remember because Mister Fins took me on a 'sweet sixteen' because he found out I never had one."
"And I haven't been able to read minds for almost a century now. See?" She lifted her hat, pointing out the scar and bald spot above her left temple. "But that's okay. I can manipulate the subconscious now so I don't mind. But sometimes my head falls off and the world becomes every which way and I don't know where I am when I find it again."
She didn't elaborate further on the bright points. Maybe she just spoke in riddles? Or synesthesia perhaps?
