First Snap - [Video - Night time]
[He managed waking up fine, weird pod and all, and even stranger some information about his new place. He doesn't particularly care, he'd been in an 'anywhere but here' kind of situation. His wish is granted, but as he leaves the bay, there's a monster in front of him.]
Whoa! I come to a new place and there's monsters roaming around!
[The screen goes back, stuffed into a pocket most likely and the sound of gunshots, and a bit of a scuffle.
He appears on screen with a huge grin.]
Haha! Victory!
[He hums a fairly familiar tune, at that.]

[Prompto gets knocked aside and groans. That hurts, more than a little stumble should, but it's not the daemon's fault. He drops his phone in the process and at least knows better than to go after it, instead raising his gun and firing off two shots.
It takes a moment for him to recover his breath and he gets up with a little groan.]
I'm okay!

[ Dorothy had, fortunately for Prompto, explored much of Genessia by now. The city especially - it was easy to do, with a straightforward layout of streets.
With Prompto's help, she was nearly certain she knew where he was.
She was almost at the archway now. Her quick pace might have been hard for a human to manage, but she wasn't hampered by that limitation. ]

[He moves his screen for her to see what she wants to, if that even helps. He could maybe figure it out himself, if it weren't for the monsters.]
no subject
Then: ]
Three coming behind you, slowly, trying for surprise.
no subject
Okay, let's do this. Um, thanks for your help anyway!
[The video cuts out, he's presuming he's just too busy to ask and now hell be on his own, he has no idea she's headed his way.]
Action
Then, approaching Prompto, is a strange sight -
A small, petite-looking woman, not much taller than five feet high, wearing a costume which was clearly a gothic take on Alice in Wonderland. Lifting up, high above her head, a commercial-sized dumpster from a back alley.
Its purpose was clear when another set of monsters rushed her. Smoothly, without any hint of effort or strain on her face, she brought the dumpster down on top of them in a messy sort of crunch. Anything which still seemed to twitch afterward, she continued to flatten in a series of short, heavy bangs.
It didn't seem like she cared about the state of her outfit, much.
Once that wave of monsters was dealt with, she continued walking toward Prompto, casually carrying her improvised weapon.
Dryly: ] You hung up before I could give you directions.
Action
There are bruises along his arms, as though he's been restrained, among a few others, and a small gash on his left temple that can only be seen when his hair is brushed aside by wind. It isn't bleeding, it's not as fresh as that.
Dorothy is a bit of a distraction, but not enough to lose sight of what he's doing, but she seems to take care of a bunch of them, giving him space to breathe.]
I-I...[She came to scold him in person?]
Sorry!
Re: Action
[ She gave Prompto a once-over, carefully cataloging the damage and the wounds. As easy as these monsters were to fight, they never stopped coming. Eventually, Prompto would tire, and when that happened?
Based on what the announcements on the CPU indicated, he'd be safe once he was inside.
Calmly: ]
Follow me.
You can shoot any foes from a distance. If they close in, I will crush them before they damage you further.
no subject
[He smiles and shrugs and follows after her, since she still knows the area and he doesn't.]
Okay. I m-mean that makes sense.
no subject
She looked at Prompto, discretely, as she fought. He didn't seem to have been fighting these creatures for too long, actually. Which meant he hadn't been grabbed by them - those bruises on his arms didn't look consistent with rough grappling. Not the type you'd find in uncoordinated combat with mindless animals.
He'd been through a lot, clearly, but it didn't seem like the current battle was the cause.
Eventually, she stated, bluntly: ]
You were injured when you arrived here.
no subject
Y-Yeah, but I'm okay!
[Self-consciously, he rubs at the leather bracelets on his right wrist.]
no subject
Is it pride, that he ignores his injuries? She didn't understand human pride very well, but it would seem to be consistent with what she'd observed.
Still: ]
I can lead you to a hospital, or a healer, instead of the apartment.
... You don't have to answer their questions. I'll tell them to treat your wounds anyway.
no subject
I-No. It's fine. We can just go to the room.
[He's thinking he'd like a shower and sleep, actually. That sounds heavenly right about then.]
no subject
wham -
- three zombies in one crunch. Not bad.
She tries to tell herself that the stranger isn’t as badly injured as he seems. ]
All right.
We have a few more blocks to go.
no subject
[He smiles for her, nodding a bit too. He hasn't put his gun away and takes down some kind of lumbering creature in the distance as they walk.]
I can't wait to stretch out on a bed!
no subject
When they're close to the apartment, though ... ]
... I'm sorry. I realized I haven't introduced myself.
My name is R. Dorothy Wayneright.
no subject
I'm Prompto Argentum! It's nice to m-meet you!
[It's no offense meant, but he's ready to find a nice bed to lie in.]
no subject
There is the Genessia Commons.
The creatures don't follow people indoors. It's as if they're repelled by a barrier.
no subject
[He shifts awkwardly. Another monster comes ambling around the corner and he raises his gun, firing it without another thought.]
I'm going to bed now.
no subject
[ And, once he’s under the awning for the door - Dorothy begins to climb up a fire escape.
It’s probably easier to travel via the roofs than on the street, but it likely makes for an odd sight. ]
