First Snap - [Video - Night time]

[He managed waking up fine, weird pod and all, and even stranger some information about his new place. He doesn't particularly care, he'd been in an 'anywhere but here' kind of situation. His wish is granted, but as he leaves the bay, there's a monster in front of him.]

Whoa! I come to a new place and there's monsters roaming around!

[The screen goes back, stuffed into a pocket most likely and the sound of gunshots, and a bit of a scuffle.

He appears on screen with a huge grin.]

Haha! Victory!

[He hums a fairly familiar tune, at that.]

[Slightly red in the face from finishing off a couple of monsters herself as she relaxes on her couch, looking through the phone.]

Really? Victory music?

I won, didn't I?

[He grins at the stranger on the screen.]

It's because I'm pretty okay at fighting monsters!

[That's right, he needs to talk himself up to the nice lady on his device.]

Only pretty okay? That doesn't constitute victory music if you're just "pretty okay" at fighting monsters.

[Well he's not Noctis but he can hold his own.]

I won, so I get victory music! Just like in a video game!

[Now she's outright laughing at him.]

Right. Because in games, even the beginners get music, don't they? You're living proof.

[Krista was currently changed into a harpy which is fun because it means she can fly everywhere, but at the same time not fun when you have talons that can accidentally destroy clothes. She missed some of her good stuff already.]

There is a lot more than that depending on where you go. Though you seem like such a happy chappy when it comes to monsters it's adorable.

[Oh dear, it's another lovely lady speaking to him through his phone. He gives a nervous little laugh, grinning at her.]

Hey, as long as it's not bugs they're not too bad!

[And if they're giant bugs, well, he'll complain.]

Not a fan of bugs, huh? Is it because of the legs or how fast they can move? Because if so, totally get it.

noctis, for his part, looks pretty rough. and unshaven. and dishevelled. don't judge too harshly. )

[Thank the gods or whoever that the person speaking to him is familiar. It seems like forever since he's seen Noctis, it's felt like forever since he fell off that train.]

[He'll answer and step into proper light so he can offer a touched smile. He's kind of a mess himself, but not so much in his face. It's his arms that show what kinds of things the Empire has been up to.]

[He's relieved to see him and he laughs at Noctis' joke.]

Yeah, well, I like to make an entrance!

[He offers a goofy grin because no matter what happened, this is Noct.]

[And there's Mercy, roaming around as a witch, pistol in hand, while trying to protect anyone in danger. Luckily she lives in Genessia City, so it doesn't take long for her to get to the Bay out of concern. It's actually been the one spot she kept an eye on the most. Can't have new people arriving get put in any dangers just when they get here after all.]

[Prompto certainly looks like he's been pulled through the ringer, his bare arms showing the effects of what he was enduring before his arrival, but he offers a shy, sheepish smile.]

Oh yeah, totally great!

[He's not blushing, not at all.]

[She set her gun aside where, who knows? What is costume design in Overwatch?, grabbing her broom. As odd as it may seem, she had no choice in the matter with the costume change, a yellow beam came from the top as the runes around it spun. He'll notice that he's feeling a bit better after that.]

It's not safe here. There are a variety of safe houses that I can take you to, if you'd like.

[He's not going to argue with feeling better, he's been in enemy hands for awhile. He nods at her words, and because of whatever magic she just did that seemed to make things better.]

Thank you, ah, yeah. Or you can tell me if you don't want to come. I don't want to put you out. I can take care of myself and everything!

[He feels like he's babbling, as he does when there are pretty girls around.]

You act surprised, but you seem prepared to fight them.

Well yeah, I mean it wouldn't be good to wander around at night if you can't defend yourself!

[He smiles charmingly and waves a bit.]

What do you usually defend yourself from?

[ Her expression is very calm. Doesn't seem to be affected by his charm one bit. ]

Daemons. They come out a night. It's pretty dangerous to go out at night where I come from.

... Yeah, it's not normally like this.

[ But there's an axe over his shoulder in the shot - it seems like he's prepared to deal with the monsters, too. ]

[Not that he's not enjoying talking to the lovely women, but he is appreciative that this person is not. All of these strangers taking notice of him is pushing at his anxiety somewhat.]

What do you mean?

[He turns around and fires off a round again, making another body hit the ground.]

It's always like this at night where I'm from.

'Xactly what I said - normally, it's pretty quiet at night. Like a normal city.

[ Shrugs. He swings his axe around, and when the creature he's fighting ducks, he slams into its face with his own head. That move seems pretty effective. ]

... That's assumin normal ain't filled with monsters, obviously.

[It's been awhile since 'normal city' has been in the rearview mirror as of late.]

Yeah, I guess. Well, it was like that before we set out, but stuff's changed. I'm just saying I'm ready for it if I need to be!
