First Snap - [Video - Night time]

[He managed waking up fine, weird pod and all, and even stranger some information about his new place. He doesn't particularly care, he'd been in an 'anywhere but here' kind of situation. His wish is granted, but as he leaves the bay, there's a monster in front of him.]

Whoa! I come to a new place and there's monsters roaming around!

[The screen goes back, stuffed into a pocket most likely and the sound of gunshots, and a bit of a scuffle.

He appears on screen with a huge grin.]

Haha! Victory!

[He hums a fairly familiar tune, at that.]

Uh that depends, if it's like at home, it could be hours.

[Prompto can't say at what time the sun will rise, but he can let her look at the time.]

D-Do you need to stay inside until then?

I could go out, but at the same time it's too much of a hassle to deal with them while I am in the state I am. if I was my normal self, could spend the whole time just kicking ass.

[But being a harpy means different ways of dealing with things which she was still not use to quite yet]

[He's not so cruel as to make her leave. He tilts his head towards the stairs.]

Come on. You can, uh, rest here.

[He starts up the stairs, expecting her to follow.]

D-Don't worry, I can sleep anywhere! The floor's good. Like camping.

I don't want to be a pain, but you are very polite.

[She smiled softly as she followed.]

Plus curious what your room might look like.

[He blushes a little and nods slightly.]

I uh, try to be at least. [He laughs nervously.]

Well I just got here, so it's probably bare, but s-someday I'll do something with it.

When I moved some of the stuff was already there. I was lucky, but you can always buy things you would like in your place when you can do that.

[Krista had herself brought a few bits and pieces when she moved to her apartment she was currently in.]

I don't n-need a whole lot, but I'd...probably put up a lot of pictures.

[He smiles sheepishly and gets to the door, opening it. It's standard and empty, closer to a hotel room he thinks.]

L-Lie down and get some rest. [Prompto encourages her, gesturing to the bed. He finds a good spot on the floor, leaning against a wall. He doesn't think he'll sleep, but he doesn't know.]

Going to put up pictures of Chocobos?

[She looks around for a moment, really wasn't a lot here, it made her think of a few things before she went to sit on the bed for a moment.]

Will do captain.

[She is rewarded with a huge smile.]

Always a good idea. You just gotta figure out how to get the pictures into photo frames.

Shouldn't be too hard to f-find some, and to print photos.

[His eyes flutter closed. He's not asleep, he's listening.]

It's not you are correct. It's good to keep those memories in frames so you can look at them and remember them fondly.

[She didn't have pictures in this world yet, she knew that as she looked up at the ceiling for the time being. She knew she should probably try and sleep, but didn't feel too tired.]

I'll buy you your first frame if you want.

[He smiles.]

That sounds great. I mean, that's n-nice. A frame.

[Yes, very smooth on his part]

I like having pictures. I always have.

What is it about them that you like? if you don't mind me asking.

[Because she has no idea. She understands why people do to an extent... But other than that...]

[He rubs the back of his neck, considering that.]

I think...[His eyes open again as he looks up a bit, head resting against the wall]

I took pictures of all the nice things I liked. [He smiles.] Because I wanted to remember them. I used to have a lot of pictures of animals, honestly, but it was nice.

I couldn't put them up or anything,but I could look at them on my camera. Just...n-nice things to think about.

So it's for the memories, like the reason people use to take pictures. Now it's just selfies more often than not.

It's a nice reason at least.

[She closed her eyes even if it was for a moment.]

I guess so? I think it was more I w-was a lonely kid, with nothing else to do. I didn't have pictures either.

[There aren't any pictures of him when he was little, not really]

I think so.

[Well that hit close to home. Her mother would choose her 'friends' when she was younger and through most of her life, so Krista never really considered them as friends. She had been aware it was a case of it would benefit them in the industry, not because they were actual friends.]

It must have sucked being a lonely kid?

[chocobosnap]

Yeah, but I'm shy so, it suited me okay. It was fine, I mean.

[He rubs the back of his head.]

I was more lonely because my family wasn't around.

As in they were never around type deal or you barely saw them because they worked too much?

[chocobosnap]

Both. I'm pretty sure they worked so much so they didn't have to deal with me.

I k-kind of wonder how they ended up adopting me in the first place.

[That's a good question, he knows why - or rather, can guess why they didn't want to stick around, but he doesn't know why they agreed in the first place, but it doesn't make him any less sad.]

Wait, wait wait. They potentially worked a lot so they didn't have to deal with you?

If that turned out to be the truth, shame of them. That's awful.

Uh, yeah. I get it, I mean where I came from...

[Like it's his fault.]

A-Anyway, that's the only thing I wonder. Why they adopted me in the first place. I don't think I can remember a handful of things we did together. They just, let me take care of myself.

[He shrugs.] I turned out okay.

I guess that would bring about questions, why adopt a child if you are not going to take care or love them.

[It just baffled her the more she thought about it.]

But yeah, at least you came out of it okay, that's all that matters really.

Apparently I'm from Niflheim, so I get it.

[He's from the Empire, their enemy.]
