Setsuna knew something was wrong as soon as she realized she wasn't in her room, the unfamiliar ceiling of the Bay staring her in the face. The unfamiliar weight over her stomach drew her attention, the young girl sitting up to sort through the box. She didn't seem to be in any immediate danger, indeed she still had her nodachi with her as she rifled through the boxes contents.

A part of her had wondered if she had somehow ended back up in Mundus Magicus, but the pamphlet quickly quelled that thought. Slipping the pendant around her neck, she made her way out of the Bay, bridging the long span of water in a single leap as she inspected the area around her, as well as the hologram awaiting her.

[Coming into view as the camera snaps on is a young girl with black hair pulled into a ponytail with a sword handle sticking up out of her shoulder. She's dressed in a school uniform as she looks into the camera.]

Ah, hello. I have read the pamphlet about this place and have seen the hologram. I have to wonder if anyone has seen any of my companions from my world here?

I suppose it would be best if I introduced myself. I am Setsuna. My companions are from a place called Mahora Academy where we were students once. I suppose the name Ala Alba or White Wings would also work since that was a name of our group.

It is nice to meet all of you.

[There have been a number of new faces on the network recently, but Kaguya can't bother to respond to most of them. Setsuna is greeted by a woman who may or may not look somewhat like Konoka.]

If you're searching for anyone in particular, names may help.

Ah well yes, um...It might be, but then last time I ended up in another world things were...let's just say advertising things might not help too much.

[There's just a little similarity. Mostly the hair, really. Kags is more fabulous and taller though.]

If you're assuming there might be some harmful force at play, it's possible, but unlikely. Except for the past few nights. Monsters have been roaming the streets late at night.

[Shrug. She's sure the girl can handle herself. Unless that sword is just for show. Kaguya ponders those names for a moment, emitting a thoughtful hum.]

Ah, I apologize, but none of those names ring a bell to me.

Monsters out at night? What's the cause? Is someone summoning them? Are people alright?

[Being whisked away can take a backburner while there's more pressing issues. And the sword is definitely not just for show.]

Indeed, although the cause is unknown. Apparently strange things like that are not uncommon here.

Oh? I think you'll find this world is not all that unpleasant. I for one, found it to be a very welcome change from what I was used to, despite my friends not being here.

Is that so? Are there any clues? Anything to link it?

[There's usually some kind of explanation. Rogue mage? Magic out of control? Science?]

Perhaps you're right, however that does not mean all of us were taken from poor conditions or the like.

[ At first, when she heard that familiar voice, Konoka thought she had to be imagining things. She knew being here was a one in a trillion chance, and Eva following her was even less than that. There was no way she could dare to hope that the girl she truly knew, her partner, would show up in Genessia. That had been the reason she even been looking for a date (and realizing how much she preferred women).

But hearing "Mahora Academy" from that voice made it unmistakable. Once she heard that, Konoka scrambled to the video comm, gazed into it, and realized she was right.

Setsuna was walking among them now.

She couldn't press the button fast enough. ]

[Setsuna was of mixed feeling about any of her companions being there. It'd have been nice to have a friend she could band together with in this strange new world, but at the same time she wouldn't want to pull them away either.

And yet, the person she wanted most to appear just startled her out of investigating the area around the Bay.]

Kono-! O-oujou-sama!? When did you get here?!

I've been here for over a year! But time is weird so you might not notice.

[ Well, as long as Setsuna wasn't in danger she could sit still, right? Though Konoka herself might be the oncoming danger if Setsuna's sensibilities were the one questioning it. ]

[Over a year? How? When? She just saw Konoka last night! Clearly something is wrong here, but Setsuna isn't sure what. Fake? Clone? Weird time dilation? Maybe the place operates like Eva's resort on a grander scale?]

How have you been here for a year? I just saw you yesterday, Oujou-sama!

[Oh, she's coming to her? Well that should be okay then right? She'll just stay where she is, still in clear view of the Bay on one of the streets people watching.]

[ She'd get an explanation in time. By the time Konoka could trust that Setsuna could sit still, Konoka was already scrambling to get her things together, get her Pokemon ready, and make a beeline for the bay. She wanted to be really, really sure that this was all real. She cursed her costume making it somewhat difficult to move NOW, but at the very least she was capable of tearing the dress's slits to give her legs more room, as well as levitate. It took too much of her energy to straight up fly.

She hadn't been to the bay in probably forever, or at least couldn't think of a time when she did. But there Setsuna was. She actually stared for a moment, just in awe at seeing her again.

Awe turned into excitement, and Konoka squealed. ]

SECCHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN~!

[ Setsuna better watch out because she's about to get divebomb glomped. ]

[There's a lot of time for Setsuna to think as she waited for Konoka. Where is she staying? Is there school for them to continue education with? What kind of job could a girl get? It seemed peaceful but there was that whole bit she found out about monsters about at night...maybe she could be some kind of mercenary like Mana?

That squee is the only warning she gets, but perhaps being in a new environment is getting to Setsuna as she has only enough time to turn towards the sound before she notices who it is a second to late.]

They're my friends from school. People who I have done a lot of things with.

[Which is a bit of an understatement considering what they've been through.]

As for the words I used, they're important to my companions so if they were here, I'd hope it'd alert them one of their friends has arrived.

Mahora... That sounds familiar. There was someone in Everglade who has a store by that name. [She... ate part of it not too long ago.] It might just be a coincidence, though...

The Mahora from my home was a large academy. There could be similarities perhaps, but I doubt they are the same.

Yes - it wasn't too far from the entrance to the area. It's a gingerbread house right now, but it's called the Mahora Fortune and On-- Onimou-- [She gets frustrated with trying to remember a name that complicated, so she decides to skip that part.] They sell charms there.

At the moment, everything in Everglade is made of sweets! The buildings, the streets, plants and trees... [Her eyes are practically sparkling at the thought.] It's incredible!

That seriously can't be sanitary. Not to mention wouldn't you be destroying everything if you ate all of the sweets?
