[Action]

Setsuna knew something was wrong as soon as she realized she wasn't in her room, the unfamiliar ceiling of the Bay staring her in the face. The unfamiliar weight over her stomach drew her attention, the young girl sitting up to sort through the box. She didn't seem to be in any immediate danger, indeed she still had her nodachi with her as she rifled through the boxes contents.

A part of her had wondered if she had somehow ended back up in Mundus Magicus, but the pamphlet quickly quelled that thought. Slipping the pendant around her neck, she made her way out of the Bay, bridging the long span of water in a single leap as she inspected the area around her, as well as the hologram awaiting her.

[Coming into view as the camera snaps on is a young girl with black hair pulled into a ponytail with a sword handle sticking up out of her shoulder. She's dressed in a school uniform as she looks into the camera.]

Ah, hello. I have read the pamphlet about this place and have seen the hologram. I have to wonder if anyone has seen any of my companions from my world here?

I suppose it would be best if I introduced myself. I am Setsuna. My companions are from a place called Mahora Academy where we were students once. I suppose the name Ala Alba or White Wings would also work since that was a name of our group.

It is nice to meet all of you.

Good to know. These little guys will also be happy to know that the original and best protector is here.

[ On her belt, she popped out the three red and white balls attached to them, then let them all open up at the same time. Out emerged three distinct creatures. Eva's seen this song and dance, but Konoka's doing this for Setsuna's benefit. ]

These are my Pokemon. Momo-han helps me with my healing! [ The adorable ear creature waved. ] Negi-kun helps with the store! [ The little panda cub attempted to take a cool pose. ] And I call this one Yuunagi-han, because she likes to protect me! [ The dark creature seemed to regard Setsuna with the utmost curiosity. ]

If you'd like a definitive answer I won't say no. [Well, sparring with Eva had a way of making one feel out of practice regardless of the fact of the matter...

She watched as Konoka started bringing the goon squad out. Yup she'd been here and done that.]

I'm going out for tonight. I'll see you two in the morning.

[Might as well give them some time alone, considering. Wasn't like anyone could gainsay a vampire if she wanted to spend all night out.]

Huh? Little guys?

[Setsuna blinks as she sees three strange animals come out from small balls. What kind of magic did that? Were they the charm demons like the Eastern Mages used?

They're a lot more cuddly and cute than what most tend to look like.]

Yuunagi? You...named one after my blade?

[She's very touched, to think her partner thought so much of her that way.]

Ah...well..Maybe sometime, Eva.

[She's...not exactly confident in being able to go toe-to-toe with the dark evangel. Especially with her powers free.

It might make for good training if she survives though.]

Ah...well okay. Take care Eva. Be careful of the monsters.

[Not that she thinks she'll need it, but Setsuna is a polite girl after all.]

[ Yuunagi in question seems to pace around Setsuna, as if examining her. Naturally, Negi-kun and Momo don't bother and happily make Pokemon noises as if they were excited children asking questions. Apparently, Konoka had spoken pretty highly of Setsuna.

She remained oblivious to the comparison to Eastern charm demons, though if she had thought about it, the connection would have made sense. ]

I'll have to show you my business when it opens back up.

[Setsuna kneels down to pet the pokemon, merely contenting herself to run her fingers through their fur. It definitely was a warm feeling to know how much Konoka thought of her to name one of her pokemon after her blade.]

I'd love to see your business, Oujou-sama...especially as I just realize I need to figure out what to do in this new place.

[Maybe they have need of bounty hunters?]

They do have bounties listed out for cities. They require a bit of finesse though, because competition is pretty strong.

[ She watches as it seems Yuunagi is surprisingly cool with Setsuna. Normally they're a lot more nonchalant. ]

Oh, she really likes you!

Is that right? Then perhaps that could be something for me to do.

[It would certainly let her use her skills and not be merely some convenience store worker. ...She really should learn some other skills that weren't related to magic and fighting.

The swordswoman does pet Yuunagi as the umbreon comes closer, running her fingers over the pokemon's ears.]

Mm...I'm glad for that. They're definitely cute.

[ Yuunagi makes a pleasant trilling noise, reminiscent of a fox. ]

Good luck on the bounties. On the off days, you could help me with my store!

[Setsuna doesn't stop petting Yuunagi even as she looks up at Konoka quizzically.]

Oh? And what kind of store do you run?

Oh, I run a charms store! I basically lend out protective eastern magic charms to people. Useful for Everglade! I still do a lot of healing, but I don't charge for that and it's on an as-needed basis.

Oh? Maybe I could help you out there then?

[She's got her own charm knowledge after all and makes them too. It's how Chibi-Setsuna came to be after all.]

Hm...I don't...really have much other marketable skills.

[Swordfighting, magic use, ki, charms....There's not really much else she's good at out of the blue.]

Oh, you'd be a definite help! In a way, this is a lot better than chasing bounties alone. Plus you can help people in ways battle alone doesn't!

[ Konoka seems downright excited at the prospect of Setsuna helping out at her store. ]

Then I'll be happy to be working with you, Oujou-sama.

[It'd give her time to recover from bounty hunting too. She's not naïve enough to think she's strong enough for every bounty to go easily.]

Mayhaps I could even room with you. Share rent expenses as well.

Oh, that's wonderful!

[ Konoka looks like she won the lottery. Again. ]

I can help you find whatever you need! You can sleep in the bed with me!

[Wait...did she say share the..bed?]

Ojou-sama! I can't share a bed with you. That'd be improper!

[ Konoka was this close into puffing her cheeks in anger (and frustration) but that lapse was gone a moment later; this was Setsuna she was dealing with, time away had made her almost forget what that was like.

And Konoka wouldn't be a good girlfriend if she couldn't remember all the things that made Setsuna... well, Setsuna, right? ]

C'mon, Secchan, the bed's big enough for both of us and it'd save on money! Plus Eva-chan's got the couch and she tends to be a little territorial so...

[ She shook that thought away. ]

And besides, it's easier to protect me when you're close, right~?

[Saving money was a good idea. After all she knew she had to be frugal with what she got so far until she figured out how much she actually had and a way to make more.]

[Plus she didn't want to bother Evangeline like that either. She liked not being toyed with by the Shinso.]
