[The video feed starts up, and shows Sun sitting at a table of a café in Genessia city. He has his tail wrapped around the handle of his tea cup and is using it to hold it up.]

Just spent most of my morning over in Vale trying to find the perfect shotgun shells for Ruyi and Jingu. I felt like I went to a dozen stores trying to find them. [And he ran into some trouble trying to get some stores to sell to him, but that’s a whole different thing entirely.]

This feels like a nice end to a decent week. Well, decent if we ignore the insanity that Wily and his sidekick are brewing up. [He just needs to head home, perform some maintenance on his weapons and he’ll be all set for the little hunting trip he is taking next week.]

So how has everyone else’s week been? Fun? Boring? Average?

[It's ok if Sun doesn't laugh, she doesn't even notice!]

Oh no I told him I would do it, it's quite enjoyable! We're currently working on a network commercial too, it will be the most fantastic commercial ever devised by a human mind!

[Kodachi certainly seems excited at the least. Not so much about having to actually work, though.]

O- Oh.... Well, that is still up in the air, really. Kitchen politics, you kn- Eeeeee!

[She squeals at the tail-cup sip again.]

[She's certainly good at drawing attention while she advertises. And poaching people already at a cafe as well. So yeah, she's pretty good for the job. Sun has to wonder if it is really that adorable to see him using his tail to drink tea. Her squealing says it is, but he just doesn't see it.]

I didn't know there was a such thing as kitchen politics..but as long as the food is good, I might stop in.

Oh there most certainly are, Sun-Sun, politics of the likes that you would never believe!

[And she gives a dead serious look.]

You do not want to go down that rabbit hole...

[Uncomfortable silence. Then she actually snorts.]

'Good', you say?

Oh no. No no no, dear, the food will not merely be just 'good'. You will not be having a mere meal. This will be a culinary experience. Fantasy come to life! Why.. You might not even be mentally prepared for the dishes that will be served!

I would suggest you start your trainig today, just to be certain.

[Being a chef was serious business, apparently. He still didn't get it, back he would take her word for it. And he was certain he would enjoy the food enough as long as he didn't pass out after having a couple of bites of it.]

It's going to be that amazing, huh? What sort of food will you guys be selling there?

Oh it is, it is! As for what sort, it will be a fusion cuisine. So there will be a choice of japanese, french, barbecue and...

[Kodachi glances from let to right, then leans in to whisper.]

The last one is a secret but.. We plan to have dishes for pokemon as well. Though do not tell anyone yet, all right?

[He doesn't know how good Japanese or French food is, but he's had barbecue before. It was pretty tasty. He chuckles a bit at that.]

You don't have to worry, your secret is safe with me. [He didn't expect that anyone would ask him if he knew what they were serving there anyway. He plucks the black rose that she embed into the table with the flier on it.] When is the grand opening, anyway?

[She reaches to pinch his cheek if he allows it! Following that, a light bulb seems to suddenly go off.]

Oh, the grand opening? Why the date is right on the flyer! You see, it is to be-

[Kodachi looks at the flyer. She looks it over, then looks at the back. Then upside down. Finally a bead of sweat falls down the side of her face.

Ok, so it isn't on the flyer.]

Ah.. S- Soon?

[Sun can't help but chuckle a bit. How do you forget to put a date on it?]

Well, if your goal was to build anticipation by not putting a date on there, then you probably succeeded. People will definitely keep an eye out for the place so they can try the food as soon as it opens.

Ah, yes! How very perceptive of you, that is exactly as you say, and quite the strategy indeed!

I have little doubt we'll do well, as I have quite the ingenious promotional plan sorted out in my head- But I am pleased you feel that way all the same~.

[Kodachi simply beams. Needless to say, she's eager to show it off. And pish posh! If anyone asks, she saved her own skin!

That said, following the question..]

Oh come now, you know why I asked and you know exactly what my next question will be:

Whatever is a friendly creature such as yourself doing running around with a loaded shotgun? Why, you'll poke your eye out!

Technically four loaded shotguns. [He reaches up the back of his shirt and pulls out his weapon. He unfolds it and that all snap together in its staff form.

He then breaks the staff down so it is just two pairs of shotguns linked together by a chain.]

Meet Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang.

[Four loaded shotguns? Kodachi's pretty certain she's looking at a collapseable staff. Quarter-staff it's called>? She can't really remember. But then they actually do become shotguns and Kodachi makes a squeal of surprise! Like one a fangirl makes when she sees Bieber on stage.]

OOOOH! That is marvelous!

I would love to have a weapon like that! So they really fire? Truly?

[Sun can’t help finding her reaction to seeing them so cute.]

Yep. They are each fully functioning shotguns. They also double as nun-chucks. [So a staff, nun chucks and shotguns. With just one weapon, Sun is pretty well equipped.]

Never seen anyone else with anything like this.

Nor have I to have laid eyes upon such a weapon!

[At least not that she can recall. Even her old weapon wasn't that cool.]

You simply must take me someplace to demonstrate your skills with that weapon sometime! Pretty please~?

Right this minute? [It wasn't like he had much else planned for the day. And he did just restock his ammo for the guns. So putting them through their paces with the ammo probably couldn't hurt.]

[Kodachi nods her head with such a cattish smile it's a wonder she doesn't sprout ears and tail right then and there.

Now, she doesn't plan to steal those weapons or anything, but her goal is to get a chance to fire them and blow up something. Ahhh, that would be grand.]

If it would not be any trouble..

[She doesn't even question why he has them. As far as she's concerned, after the whole pokemon thing, the gymnast has accepted pets may carry weapons~.]

It wouldn't be any trouble. [..He's not a pet, Kodachi. When will you get that through your head? He snaps his weapons back together into its staff form and he finishes off his drink before setting the cup down with his tail.

He then takes hold of the staff with his tail so he can take out his wallet to pay for his tea.]

Let's just find a nice private and secluded spot for the two of us. [So there won't be any danger of hitting anyone.]

[ Private? Secluded? Oh Sun.. Oh Sun the levels of temptation are going off the charts!! Must.. Resist! She smiles but she can't keep the corner of her lip from twitching.

Must.. Be.. Good! Mustn't.. plot.. kidnapping!]

[Yes. Yes. Be a good girl, Kodachi. You never know, Akane might be around watching you again. He puts down the money to pay and he stands up and motions for her to follow.]

[Kodachi will follow along, and she miight not have too much difficulty doing so in a kimono. Also the moment she sees a trash bin, she'll drop the rest of the flyers in there because.. No date. She'll try to do it when he isn't looking, of course.]

So.. They are weapons for hunting prey?

Well. Sort of. I'm going to become a Huntsmen. As a Huntsmen I would slay these monsters called Grimm in my world. I don't think I would really call them my prey, though.

[Aww a huntemen, that's too cute! That sounds interesting enough, though it isn't really a profession she'd persue.. ... Maybe.]

Oh? So these 'grimm' cannot be domesticated? And I think you should call them that! It would make you very 'edgy' and 'hip'!

I doubt it. They don't even have souls. I don't think they care about anything other than killing, maiming or destroying. [Not to mention some of them are way too big for that.]

Huh. I guess I could consider calling them that. [Though he had to wonder if it may make him seem more vicious than he actually is.]

[Kodachi gasps, and both hands raise to her lips.]

No souls? That is dreadful.. Horrifying! And yet.. Something like that would make for a most impressive pet. No one would perform unwanted advances upon me if I had a grimm for a pet..

[.. Just what kinds of pets does Kodachi keep, anyway?But that aside, she quickly nods in agreement.]

Oh yes! And you know what else would be wonderful? A very 'cool' outfit. One fitting for a 'cool' huntsman!
