Twenty-Sixth Reel: Charity Event! One Day Only!

What: Charity Event featuring bake sales, a magic show, an auction, and much more!
Where: Genessia City Park--> Changed to Genessia Library, Outside Nova City Museum, Outside Attleton University, Outside the Everglade Sheriff Station, and The Singing Meadows in Fayren --> Changed to Juliet's Lair in Fayren
When: November 5th
Warnings: Good Hearted Intentions!! A-Actually, there's a thunderstorm in Genessia, and it's pouring in Fayren! So the venues have changed! Please adjust accordingly! Especially for the last venue. It's a lingerie shop.


The weather for most cities is pleasant enough to sell baked goods outside, while a couple of other cities have to make due. Either way, the charity event must endure and collect money for every charity! At each location, fresh, warm delicacies are waiting to be sold, kept under a halogen lamp for optimum warmth. While the treats are for sale, warm beverages are not! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and warm milk will be served, but don't expect anything fancy! They're already premade and stored in thermal containers. 

The magic show is sure to please audiences of all ages! A good magic fight without the unnecessary collateral damage! The auction will showcase items being offered for sale, as well as services from other residents. Need a new lamp? Need a home decorator? Then the auction is the place to probably find what you want!

Other events are available, as last minute entries are more than welcome! But remember: it's for charity! Anyone caught being naughty will have to deal with Grell.

I'm glad you're okay.

[Belle's expression softens. She's less concerned about he dates and more concerned about Shinjio.]

Are you going to be returning to the bakery?

[She looks over at Scott.]

I don't think we have to decide anything now but I'm going to make sure the money gets to Minako.

[Shinjiro was only trying to help raise money for charity, that sounded very much like something he would do. Scott's awkwardness melted away into fondness and he barely registers what Belle is saying.]

What? Ah, right, of course. Thank you, Belle. [He turns to face Shinjiro.]

Are you really okay? You still seem a bit..out of it. We won't make you do anything you don't want, we...don't have to do anything at all. It was just for charity.

Probably. [ Answering Belle's question. ] I just wanted to ... uh. Drop off something. So, I should probably be gettin back.

[ Though he'd need to go to Attleton soon after, for the Guardian community service thing. The whole idea of it was exhausting. ]

Do I need t'pay you guys back?

[ He's the one who wanted to help the charity, after all ... though, really, now that he thought about it, Scott and Belle were both the good types of people. They probably didn't mind donating, either.

He shrugged again at Scott, looking away. ]

... I'm fine now, anyway.

[ Did Scott see through him, up there? ]

And. Well. I know you guys just wanted to help out. Kinda ridiculous that anyone would bet on me otherwise.

[ Smirks - self-depreciating humor was the best humor. ]

[Belle shakes her head.]

You don't need to worry about repaying either of us. [Her eyes glance towards Scott. She hopes it's okay that she speaks for him. If he does require to be paid back then she'd come up with the sum.

Shinjiro's next words catch Belle off guard. She wonders if he realizes how obvious his discomfort was or how wonderful of a person he is for standing up there anyway.]

We wanted to win your date. [Her voice is a little lighter and a little teasing.] You're a very desirable man Shinjiro.

[Scott nodded in agreement at the glance. They had decided to help him and give the money to charity, Shinjiro doesn't have to pay them back, nor does Belle.]

I, yes about that...[Scott feels himself blushing at Belle's words but he isn't about to deny them. At least one of the three of them can be articulate.]...she's right.

[ Since it was for charity - charity which wasn't him, anyway. He accepted it.

And then he flushed a little, and frowned, looking away from Scott. ]

Yeah. Hilarious.

You don't have to make fun.

[Belle's voice softens.]

Please know that we aren't making fun of you. [In her mind, that isn't something that friends do. She already knows what it feels like to be talked about like that.]

How about this? Don't worry about it today. Scott and I will set up a lunch. I think we'd both love more time around you. [She looks over at Scott with a warm smile.]Wouldn't you agree?

[Belle is rather perceptive. She can feel the thickness in the air and she wants to help. Besides, they all technically have things they should be doing right now.]

Don't say that. [Scott's frowning now because he's seen Shinjiro put himself down one too many times.] You seem to always think people doesn't enjoy your company, it's not true.

[He gives Belle a soften look, clearly agreeing with her plan.] Sounds perfect to me.

[ Now they were setting up a lunch. Shinjiro decided to immediately toss out the word "date". It wouldn't have been real, anyway, because of the charity thing. If that's what this was.

But, rather. Belle and Scott were very nice people. Really good friends. Getting him out of hot water up there, complimenting him like this. If he objected it just made him a jerk, didn't it? Because they were just being nice, just like they always were.

So, he struck out that silly word of 'date' and just. Lunch with friends. Not a bad idea.

Scott and Belle should get to know each other better, anyway. They fit together, like he didn't really with them. ]

... All right.

Lemme know when you want t'have lunch, then.

I'll find a good place for us to hang out.

[ Maybe that Lettuce Feed U Sandwiches place? ]

[Belle's smile grew when it appeared as if Shinjiro was getting more comfortable with the idea. She hopes that he will soon see himself as she and Scott saw him. He has so many amazing qualities.

It doesn't have to be anything uncomfortable for him. Belle, of all people, would like to avoid giving people unwanted advances.]

That sounds perfect.

[She looks over at Scott.]

Don't you agree?

[Maybe between her ad Scott they might get into his thigh skull that he was liked and loved. strangest things had happened and Scott is a man of faith.]

Yes. I'd like any place, really. Let's go give Minato the payment and then we can all relax.

... Let's do that new sandwich place in Attleton.

[ Grips the keys in his pocket, but. Shinjiro feels determined that he's going to treat this casually. ]
