Twenty-Seventh Reel: Calendar Photoshoots

What: Charity Yearly Calendar Photoshoots and Charity Sexy Christmas Calendar Photoshoots! 
Where:  A pop-up photo studio, probably in Genessia City? 
When: November 6th -November 13th
Notes: This takes place all week, so characters can get their photos taken at their convenience! Those that want to watch can do so, but they risk their own health! Not everyone is Gale likes an audience! Also still six spots left for the sexy calendar!!

The photo studio, with a myriad of different backdrops, costumes, and props available, is set at a pleasant temperature. Not too hot, nor cold. There are a few refreshments for photo takers to enjoy, and for those who need a bit of loosening up, there's something for them, too! For the yearly calendar, a professional photographer has been hired. For the Christmas one, Dave Strider is in charge. He'll make everyone look super pretty.

[Mirajane Strauss has conscripted her BFF Erza Scarlet to do a sexy photo shoot for the Christmas calendar for charity. Oh she's got more reasons than just publicity for Fairy Tail, though she wasn't lying about it being fun. As a model back home for weekly sorcerer magazine, Mirajane always had a lot of fun teasing and posing for the camera and for folks back home.

She pulls out a pair of reindeer antlers and places them on Erza's head.]

What do you think? Santa and Reindeer? Elf? Or maybe a pair of angels?

[Erza had done a few photoshoots herself, and while she wasn't as experienced as Mirajane (then again, very few people are), she enjoyed getting to show off all sorts of outfits. Sure, she hadn't done much in the way of group photoshoots (one or two with other Fairy Tail mages, and one with Kagura to introduce her to modelling), but she figured that Mira could give her advice if she needed it.

A confident smile works its way onto Erza's face as she takes off the antlers, as though she had planned for this eventuality.] Besides, I've got just the thing!

[Erza exquips into one of her Santa outfits. While she has about half a dozen of them for whatever reason, this one seems well-suited to this kind of "mission".] Do you think this would be all right?

[Mirajane had a few ideas of what Erza might want to do, and she was worried she might do some sort of weird Christmasy breastplate or something. She was known for doing a few odd fashion choices at times, but when she saw her in the Santa outfit... her heart melted.]

[She tried to resist the urge to smother her friend in a hug, but she couldn't... it was just too cute and amazing to resist. It was perfect for her, and Mirajane had the worst soft spot for santa outfits.]

[Clearly Mirajane had a new outfit Erza would be forced to wear other than just a maid outfit.]

[Erza certainly wasn't expecting that much of a reaction. She can't help but smile as Mirajane clings to her, even as a small blush appears on her face from all of that praise and affection.]

There's plenty of time between now and Christmas. I'm sure I'll have lots of chances to show it off!

[She's glad that she didn't go with her alternate choice - armour made to look like a gingerbread house, with a massive spear that resembles a Christmas tree. Sure, it didn't get much use, but on the off chance that she had to deal with thieves who were stealing Christmas presents, she wanted to have something appropriate.]

[Mirajane was now getting a bit of revenge for that case of 'skinship' she had shown off for master Mavis, in the form of squeezing Erza's butt in her Santa outfit that didn't have anything in the form of pants. The 'skirt' part of the outfit was short enough that her hand hadn't even needed to go that far to grope her red haired friend.]

This is for a sexy calendar after all, so maybe we should tease all the boys by having me grope your chest on camera.

[Even if right now Mirajane seemed more focused on Erza's butt... and legs...

Aren't you glad you went with the Sexy Santa rather than the gingerbread house armor Erza? So much more fun this way.]

[In an odd coincidence, that's when she's interrupted by Mirajane's groping. She doesn't appear to be flustered by the feeling of Mira's hands on her butt, or by the fact that Mirajane's gotten quite close to her, locking her in a rather intimate embrace. But when she mentions the camera...]

O-On camera? [Her cheeks redden - not quite enough to match her hair or outfit, but it's noticeable.] I'd understand if it was in a bathhouse, but isn't that a bit much? [...It almost goes without saying that Erza has odd standards for what counts as acceptable behaviour.]

{Kristen was more shocked she had been talked into the Christmas calendar but there she was with a black dress in a cleaners bag. Well its progress for the retro queen of the GCPD right?]

[It's true- not everyone is Gale. Because there's only one of those to give everyone headaches. The world couldn't possibly handle another.

He, of course, is very much okay with having an audience if anyone decides they want to watch because this is a man who is horribly shameless. He's wearing his outfit for Holy Diver to this shoot, currently sitting off on a table to the side with his legs crossed in such a way to show off his legs. Once it's his time for for some sexy posing, those purple leggings are going to be off, in one of the only times Gale will show off more of that gray synthetic skin to the world. Anything for charity, right?

... also Gale will be there to peer in and watch most of the sexy photos, so... throwing something at him if you don't want him there is probably advised.]

Last Day

[Yang shows up on the last day of the photo shoot. It's not because she procrastinated, she just honestly forgot. In her head, a year of her life passed by before she returned to Genessia, and she's not exactly the type who writes down appointments in a little black book.]

[But eventually she did remember, and showed up to the studio with a bag slung over her shoulder, full of red velvet and white fur. She's not sure if she should be happy or annoyed that it was so easy to find Christmas costumes in early November. At this point, she doesn't care if anyone sees what she picked out, and will happily leave it to the imagination. Yang takes a seat and picks up a magazine, crossing her ankles as she stretches her legs out in front of her. She'll get some refreshments later.]

[In Costume]

[In Yang's personal, non-professional opinion? She looks super cute. She turns to look over her back to ensure the skirt hangs right, then turns forward again. Yang grins. Winks. Yup, this was a good pick. The only person who isn't allowed to see this is Mercury since she wants to keep it a surprise. Anyone else? Fair game. She's kind of curious to see what they picked anyway.]

[She exits the dressing room with the hat set at a jaunty angle on her mane of thick blonde hair, still wearing her leather riding boots. Yang kind of figures the photo won't concentrate too much on her lower legs, but if they do, so be it. Her boots are one of her trademarks.]

[ Ayame decided to wear a formal dress uniform for the sexy calendar shoot, which is something she tailored to fit and highlight her graceful curves and exposing the right amount of skin on her prided thighs, while still leaving a lot to the imagination. She doesn't know why she chose this, but if it helps promote her tailor shop and it still fits with the Christmas theme from the uniform's snow white color, then she guess it could work.

Ayame can be found at the photo studio, either looking at herself in front of a mirror and practicing her poses while making sure her hair looks good. She's never really done this before, but it's sounds like an easy enough task and a new experience. Gale might have influenced her in trying modeling, but she's really here mostly for her own curiosity.

...or she could be seen watching the other photoshoots and learn more photography tricks that way. She doesn't mind it if others come in to watch when it's her turn to take photos, so no worries here. But afterwards, Ayame would be so exhausted. The spotlight drains her energy more than any rigorous physical activity. She'll need a drink afterwards, and would likely keep this uniform on for the rest of the day. She likes how she looks in it! ]

[As Ayame's working on her poses, Erza strolls up, clad in a rather unusual Santa outfit. With Mirajane busy chatting with the photographer, Erza had figured that she should take a look around the studio, and she was certainly glad to see a familiar face.]

Ayame! All ready for your shoot, I see. I didn't realize you modeled as well...

[Unlike some of the people here, Erza doesn't seem to be even slightly nervous about the nature of the photoshoot - it helps that she knew what it was in advance, but she doesn't have much of a sense of shame to begin with.]

[ Ayame turns around to meet Erza's friendly gaze with a soft smile and a tuck of her hair behind her ear, showing the beauty mark on the right side of her face more clearly ]

Erza. Good afternoon.

[ Ayame puts her hands in front of her. She's always been pretty elegant in her demeanor, but somehow she's more like that around Erza who's always wearing such daring clothes. Not that Ayame is complaining or anything. ]

It's my first attempt at it, actually. A friend of mine has encouraged me to give it a try. For the experience and to promote my own clothing business along the way.

[ She pauses, gesturing with her hands toward Erza's costume ]

It shouldn't be surprising that you wear that so well, yet you remain stunning in it. I really have to have you wear some of my creations.

[Erza's a little surprised, but definitely flattered.] I'd be honoured to! I don't know if I'd wear them as well as you do, but I'm willing to try.

This sort of thing can be intimidating at first, but once you've gotten used to it, it's actually quite relaxing. [Mirajane had to give her a few tips when she started, and Erza did the same for Kagura, so she's been through both ends of this experience.]

[ Hearing Erza's willingness to be her model gave Ayame a motivational boost she needs, along with those words of encouragement that followed. Being reminded that everyone starts somewhere small, Ayame felt a comfort that made her want to see this photoshoot through sooner than she initially wanted. Perking up a little as she continues to wait her turn, Ayame couldn't help but smile a little at Erza ]

Coming from you, I cannot help but trust in it. Thank you, Erza. I shall do my best.

[ Ayame hears someone call her name to get ready for her turn, to which she nods to acknowledge the heads-up ]

Well, then. Perhaps sometime, we could model my creations together. I have a plan in mind that you might like to hear about.

[ Then there's the second call that got Ayame's attention ]

After this. Wish me luck.

] Ayame takes a deep breath before excusing herself from their conversation, stepping on to the camera's view to do her poses. Ayame wasn't one to do things halfway if she can help it. Prior to this day, she's been practicing as well. When at war or in combat, that's where she's at her most graceful. But under the spotlight and being asked to look like something she wasn't is difficult even now. Erza's encouragement and audience is what helped Ayame through the series of poses and smiles she had to do, really showing off her prided assets for the camera while adorned in that uniform - a testament of her tailoring skills.

The shoot took way longer than she thought, exhausting her. After her turn, she retreats back to where Erza is with the biggest sigh of relief she's ever uttered ]

Is it strange that I would rather hike up the tallest mountain than sit through another photoshoot? I won't be as exhausted after that hike as I am now under those bright lights and flashes.

[ She joked. Tried to at least ]

[Erza listens to Ayame, though the dark haired woman is called over to do her photoshoot before she can respond. As she waits, she acts as an attentive member of the audience, hoping that having a familiar face watching might make the process a bit more relaxing. Plus, Erza feels like she could learn a thing or two from Ayame - even here, her natural grace shines through.

Once Ayame returns, Erza chuckles at her response to what just happened.]

Not at all! It can be taxing, I'll admit. You were a natural out there, though.

[It would probably be a while before Erza was called over for her own shoot, seeing as coordinating two models at once would be trickier than working with one, so the mage figures that they have plenty of time now.]

So what's your plan? I'll be happy to help however I can.

[Lea strolled around, examining things. He hadn't ever had his photo taken professionally that he could recall, so the whole thing was new and interesting. Plus it was for a good cause. He didn't know a lot of details, just that he was supposed to talk to someone named Dave Strider to help him get set up, and so was trying to spot him, or someone who looked like they could direct him to him as he walked around.

No, no one had yet clued Lea in to the fact that the Christmas calendar he'd signed up for was a little... hotter that the usual fare for December. Him finding out was sure to be entertaining...]

Later that week

[ When Cassian had been signed up for the calendar, he had been vaguely annoyed.

It isn't till he arrives to the photoshooting and a perky assistant informs him that Mr Strider is in charge of the Sexy Christmas Calendar that he realizes what he has been signed up for.

Too late to back out now. Way too late. Word has already gotten out, you can't scrimp on your contribution to charity.

So you'll be finding him posing shirtless in just uniform pants and blaster for the cameras - and ready to bring down his wrath on anyone who so much as smirks at his embarrassment. ]

[Prompto has arrived, if only because he was told they needed someone else to show up and take a picture, although he's not entirely sure what he's into.

He's supposed to be waiting patiently, but he can't help it, he's looking at the photography equipment, checking out the lenses and technology while Cassian's getting ready, so when he comes out, he might find Prompto there, bugging the poor photographer about specs and touching things excitedly.]

[ Is this rude? Well he doesn't care. He is shirtless, about to pose sexily in front of people who are not his boyfriend and grumpy about it, he reserves the right to hide his embarrassment behind grumpiness. ]

[He turns and sees a man without a shirt on. Not exactly what he was expecting.]

I...um..s-s..[He's also angry and despite himself that drives his anxiety up. A deep breath in and out, and try again.]

S-Sorry! I was, um, was w-waiting.

[Ugh, does he have to sound like an idiot?]

I think I'm who everyone has been waiting for.

[ The photographer, at least, though for the moment he seems content to no longer have Prompto underfoot.

He shifts a little. ] I'm here for the photographs.

[ Obviously. ]

[He giggles, oh is that not supposed to be funny?] I-yeah, I c-can wait my turn.

[Prompto moves away from the photographer with a bit of a mournful look at the technology.]

Someone said they n-needed a picture. Of me, I guess. For charity.

Day 2

[She considers herself a bit late to the photoshoot. Anastasia needed time to pre-emptively make herself pretty for her spot on the regular calendar for May.

While she still has time for her shoot for the regular calendar, Anastasia can be found looking around the studio, watching other people get their pictures taken. Perhaps she can learn how to operate these cameras so she can photograph her sub-archway before she closes it down. If she even can. But those are thoughts for another day. She'll just stand by, her hands on her bunny-themed tote bag, steeling herself for something she never did before: Get her picture taken.

Now it was during her turn. Anastasia was posing for the May spot, the cliché young girl in a flower field - a typical theme for the spring months. Either kneeling or standing, sometimes with a bouquet of flowers, or wearing a flower crown in front of a flower field backdrop. And a few other shots for other themes associated with May and/or spring, such as a stroll in front of a rain backdrop while wearing a cute rain coat.

Once the shoot was over, Anastasia was getting sleepy and was ready for bed. She merely waits by the front for her ride to come pick her up, holding her tote bag, trying to occupy her mind while she waits by either looking through her bag or just browse on her phone. It shouldn't take long...but then again, delays do happen.]

Mayu signed up for the sexy Christmas calendar because he has no shame, and he turned 18 in August. He's shirtless and wearing antlers. He has no issues with posing. He's had practice as a part time model and posing for mangaka.

When Mayu isn't posing, he's carrying a sketchbook and watching others.
