Froggy Mishaps #2 - video, backdated to the 11th

[ So there is a shaky video, obviously the person filming this is upset and distracted.

Off-screen voices, then the video shows two normal-sized frogs, one of them yellow, on a cluttered desk in the Attleton Guardian's office. A moment later it shows a three-foot-tall frog which some people might know as Ribbit, Cassian's unwanted pet frog. It is angrily ribbiting at K-2SO. ]

We have a problem with animal transformations.

[ The camera is jerked around, finally showing Cassian Andor's very scowling face. ][ He's silent for a moment to let that sink in. ] But they can still talk, if you wish to reassure yourself of their well-being.

I'm sending this message since best we can figure we need someone of royal blood to kiss them to undo the spell. But as you can see, if our theory is wrong you will pay a high price.

I didn't know you were a queen! [Boy that frog sure does sound like Colette, doesn't it?] I'm so sorry, I've been speaking to you so disrespectfully your majesty!

[That's right, her behavior is more important than her current state.]

[Dray's ears and eyebrows go up. He has an excellent hearing so there's no way he mistook that voice by someone else. And the lil cue frogie is yellow. Then his ears drop and his eyes narrow.]

The little frog gives the slightest of nods, suddenly embarrassed.]

Yeah, it's me... We didn't know that you had to be of royal blood to cure Mr. Frog so I gave it a try and, um, it didn't go like we thought it would.

[ In case that wasn't obvious. ]

But if you're royalty, then maybe you could come save Mr. Frog, Your Majesty. I mean, if you wanted to. I'm sure he would really appreciate it. Oh, and then you could have a prince!

I'm not sure if it will help, but in the fairy tale a princess kissed the frog and it worked...

[ Yeah, basically, they're hoping for the best. Feel better now, Dray? ]

Oh, so you are dealing with a curse! I never tried breaking one before but I could give it a try. I don't want to be turned a frog, though but...if there's no one else.

Where did the frogs come from?

Oh dear... I'm a bit of an expert in transformation magic but usually in transforming oneself, not others. I don't suppose your friend who was turned into a frog has any magical capabilities does he? If he does, I might be able to walk him through transforming himself back but otherwise... it might be difficult.

No, I don't think my friends have the kind of magic which would permit them to transform themselves back. But if we can't find another solution we might have to try it, so, thank you.

That's what the book is telling us to do. Would you rather kiss it, and risk being turned into a frog as well?

Yeah, no. I'm hardly nobility. But tell any princesses you find that you've got a dashing dark rogue to offer as a palette cleanser after they kiss said frog.

[He's trying not to chuckle, but still trying to keep serious too..]

I hope we can find someone. Seems weird, though...a royal kiss can undo it?

That's what we are assuming, but I don't know. Magic is strange, and it doesn't make sense. It shouldn't make a difference, right?

[ He shoots the frogs a despondent look before looking at Han again. ]

I didn't realize your ancestors are royal.

I guess not, no. It's definitely all strange to me, whether it's Force stuff or whatever else.

[He sighs] Actually it's questionable. There was a king on Corellia named Beretheon E Solo way back in the Old Republic, but whether the guy who clamed to come from him was tellin' the truth or fakin' it, no one's sure.

I'm happy just how I am, though...Leia might not be an official princess these days and I might not be a prince, but she's still doin' a lot for the galaxy.
