A month of catch-all // MOTORCYCLES YO
[TEXT ON THE COMM:]
If I did a motorcycle race and tricks tournament as a promotion, would anyone be interested?
- Sycamore Cycles in Genessia
We also do snowmobiles.
[He forgot to ask when would be good for people. He meant to. Still does mean to but editing it seems embarrassing and maybe it can just be implied, it's not like there's any reason to ask for times if no one is even interested, gosh!]
[IN PERSON: Smoker will be leaving the garage door open with some signs, ESPECIALLY A BRIGHT RED "HELP WANTED" because fuck him he's keeping real hours and this is killing him! And when he's actually doing the good part of his job, after hours, tooling away on bikes! And trikes. Playing some smooth jazz over the radio, and puffing enough on cigars you might think there's a fire in his shop, but no, he's just got two at a time. ALWAYS.]
[He also regularly goes jogging with two dogs in the mornings and evenings.]
[And hits up bars once a week. -- But the day and place changes every time so it's not THAT routine, okay okay!!!]

[Also doesn't say anything at first, just keeps at it.]
[Two old looking dudes in sunglasses with gray hair listening to music without speaking.]
[Just another day.]

Justice... Interesting byline.

The kanji, I'm assumin'. Not from our world unless you know what else it represents.

Doubtful you've been there. People either come from there or never heard of it. Red Line, Grand Line, and devil fruits. Any of that familiar to you?
[Keeping at the bike work!]
action
[he straddles a bike just to see how it feels, mock revving it a little]
So what does it signify?
action
It's the code of conduct for marines. Uniform. Doesn't mean much here. [Except to him but he leaves that implied.]
action
[he remains on the bike]
Ah. I've met plenty of Marines in my time. Generally they wear a shirt but you know everyone's got their own style. [the Brigadier would have an apoplexy] I suppose it can mean more depending on what you do.

How much for a motorcycle?
And a pair of studded wheels if this place gets anything like Canada.
text;
[But sends over the spreadsheet PDF listing everything, because he literally does it all from scratch usually.]
Wheels are in the list. Treads that handle ice can't go on water or Nova City -- too much glass and they'll chew up the roads. The ones that do snow, sand, buildings and ocean are the most expensive, but what I use on my own Billower Bike. Mine's not powered by gasoline or solar though, so what you power it with changes the capacities as well.
What size are you? Not a number, just general idea. A heavier bike is more dangerous for someone light, and the tires should compensate accordingly.

[ She attached a picture too. BC why not. ]
Now you send me yours.
text;
[IF SHE ONLY KNEW HOW RED HE WAS NOW.]
[JEEZ.]
[He can't tell if it's funny for him to give her his picture back or just creepy.]
[His world doesn't have internet so he doesn't know that etiquette... assuming he would even IF it existed.]
Not bad.
How about one of these?
[Sends over a bunch with the same general theme and slips his own picture in there too. Was that suave enough? At least he can play it off as nothing. He hopes.]

The bikes are okay too.

Thought so. First one is literally called the dominatrix of bikes. She runs better when you let her take the lead, of course.
Last one is Smoker. He's harder to control than all the bikes combined.
Text;
[ People don't usually refer to bikes as 'he' so she's assuming he means himself there. She's hoping he does. ]
Text;
[Yup. He meant himself, but is quickly distracted talking about bikes again.]
How long have you been riding?

Re: Text;
[Video]
[She taps her chin thoughtfully.]
I'm strong and pretty acrobatic on my own. And I can definitely handle a motorcycle with a few gutsy maneuvers in a pinch. How much time do we have to practice?
[She's got some free time on her hands, why not? It'll give her something to do, and it sounds like fun besides.]
Got any tricks you can show an aspiring beginner like myself?
[Video]
Maybe. Got any powers of your own? [But there's a half grin so looking good for those odds.]
[Video]
[Real ones would be too unpredictable to keep around a crowd of spectators, she wouldn't risk that for some stunts.]
You?
[Video later that night]
[Yes, that would likely lead to a case of vehicular death for him. It'd still be awesome.]
But if you're doing a one-man show, I break every curfew in the world for it.
[Anything for you, Smoker.]
[Video later that night]
[AND A SNORT AT THE LAST PART.] Thanks, Ted... I think.
Re: [Video later that night]
[Wow, he sounds serious about that. But then Smoke rarely sounds otherwise.]
Ahah. If you're good, he might indulge you! And what better way for a Marine to be good then drubbing pirates? I've some recommendations to that effect if you're interested.
Does that mean you're not sure? Well, you're welcome all the same.

[Enis walks into the bike sign with a rough idea of what she wants to buy. She's been saving up; so whatever the cost is won't be a problem. Now she just needs to find something that suits her needs.]
I'm here to by a bike. [Obviously.]
You're Smoker.
[They spoke over the network once before but Enis is being formal.]
