[well. adam has been here long enough that he's done with moping and trying desperately to get back. he doesn't think there really is a way, especially since he's heard some people have been here quite a while. it doesn't really matter though, he's able to visit vale thanks to that gate, anyway.
SO. time to talk about how he'll be self-employed.]
When I first arrived here, I met someone that gave me an idea. They told me they were a mercenary and perhaps I should look into being one as well. My work back home was.... along those lines, anyway.
That being said, if any of you are interested in someone fulfilling tasks that you don't want others to know publicly, I'm a very confidential person. As for my skills, believe me when I say I'm the best at what I do and I always get the job done.
My name? Adam Taurus.

What are your weapons of choice? Do you specialize in stealth?
[Private/Text]
[everything in rwby is also a gun.]
As for stealth- that's one of my best skills. I'm quick and move silently.
[Private/Text]
That is good to know. Sadly I have no work for you at present, but it is convenient to know those of the likes of your profession exist.
[She'll come up with some sort of test eventually, just to see if he can back his claims.]
I assume you may be contacted at any time?

Normally this is something I would only entrust to one of my roommates, but they're all out at the moment and if I go then the cookies wont survive the trip back to the apartment.
Do you have any idea how terrible it is to go out and buy cookies only to not have any by the time you get home? It's terrible!

Is that really something a mercenary should be doing?

[ It sounds and looks like she's judging the hell out of him right now. After all, mercenaries? They don't tend to follow moral guidelines of any kind so much as monetary ones. ]

[he wasn't going to help anyway.]

[Probably because that was his intention, but come on. He's better than this, she believes in him!]

[even if it meant killing someone else yupyup.]

[She got to see firsthand how well he could fight when he'd helped save her in her dream. He shouldn't take just anybody's lazy attempts to foist criminal activity onto his big broad shoulders.]

[Because not being able to do anything is probably a bad thing anyway.]

adam's eyes suddenly widened when he saw her on the video. she wouldn't be able to see that since he had his mask on, but he was obviously hesitating when it came to responding. besides orihime, she was the only other one that had been in his dream. she saw what he was like as a child, and he had tried to get orihime to forget. would he have to get her to forget about it too-? probably.]
You're... [just. don't draw attention to any of that, not right now.] ... right. I didn't have anything to do for a while.
video;
[Seemed logical enough to her anyway, but moving off the subject for the meantime.]
Then how did you manage to survive? I mean people usually need money and to get that they work since the usual methods aren't the same here. [Due to no family and all.]
