[These posters are presented on all devices and some can even be found around the city as paper flyers. Mostly they appear in Nova City although some stray ones could turn up elsewhere.]

It is time again for the important elections to see who will be your Guardians.

As one of your Deputy Guardians in Nova City for the past seven standard months, I have put my name in to run for your official Nova City Guardian.

Over these months I have worked continually to keep the citizens and city safe and have made myself available to those in need. I have kept new arrivals in line and directed them to their new places here, along with making certain that they cause no trouble in any of their confusion or misguided threats.

I, Grievous, will continue to serve as one of your deputies until I am either elected as Guardian or otherwise if a new Guardian recruits others in my place, as part of their new staff. However, I believe the former to be your best choice.

I have had much experience in my homeworld of protecting and defending my people. Here, the citizens of Nova City are my people and your safety here will be of my primary concern.

I am available for any questions prior to and during the upcoming debates and if there are any issues that you need addressed in the overseeing of Nova City. This includes any facilities you believe are lacking or any threats that have not been seen to.

[He has a recollection of meeting him last week while Grievous was in his alien form and his electronically filtered voice isn't as aggressive as he speaks in return. He still has his issues with Jedi but over his months here he has had much of his mind and memories restored to him and that anger and hatred that Sidious and Dooku's manipulations had enhanced has since stabilized. It is more irritation than fury in his tone now.]

This is not about conquering. This is about protection.

As already mentioned, I have been deputy for nearly the entire duration of my time here. I wish to continue this work and make sure the city remains protected. It was so under Weiss Schnee, who handpicked me for her team, and after her departure from the position temporary measures were put in place with dual Guardians. I had not been here for very long at the time. However, now is the time to choose one to guide and with my experience now I believe I am the best option.

As for my name, I chose it long ago. I had lost many in battle....

[One in particular but he doesn't go into that here.]

... and my grief seemed endless to me. I chose to reflect that in my new name.

[So perhaps not so sinister as it first appears.]

The grieving never truly leaves you, however it is in the past. In another life. Here, my focus is on the people of Nova City.
