[These posters are presented on all devices and some can even be found around the city as paper flyers. Mostly they appear in Nova City although some stray ones could turn up elsewhere.]

It is time again for the important elections to see who will be your Guardians.

As one of your Deputy Guardians in Nova City for the past seven standard months, I have put my name in to run for your official Nova City Guardian.

Over these months I have worked continually to keep the citizens and city safe and have made myself available to those in need. I have kept new arrivals in line and directed them to their new places here, along with making certain that they cause no trouble in any of their confusion or misguided threats.

I, Grievous, will continue to serve as one of your deputies until I am either elected as Guardian or otherwise if a new Guardian recruits others in my place, as part of their new staff. However, I believe the former to be your best choice.

I have had much experience in my homeworld of protecting and defending my people. Here, the citizens of Nova City are my people and your safety here will be of my primary concern.

I am available for any questions prior to and during the upcoming debates and if there are any issues that you need addressed in the overseeing of Nova City. This includes any facilities you believe are lacking or any threats that have not been seen to.

I'd imagine that really has given you a good sense on what the job would need.

I believe that it does, yes. We have been for too long under the temporary Guardians and now it is time for stability.

How did it come to pass, that there were two Guardians of Nova?

[ Looks contemplative, a little curious.

Doesn't let on that he's done his research on this. ]

It was meant as a temporary measure when Weiss Schnee stepped down. Now one properly elected Guardian can stand up to protect the city once more.

Well, you definitely sound qualified. Though, uh.

[ Looks uncertain. ]

Forgive me for being ... uh, curious, but. Those lightsabers you're wielding in that poster - I mean.

You're not a Jedi.

I am no Jefi but I can wield multiple lightsabers better than any of them. They serve to aid me against threats to the city.

[ Holds up his hands ]

Look, I'm not - casting any sort of judgment or anything. Not saying you're like them, just.

I've never even heard of anyone who doesn't use the force wielding them, that's all.

[ He doesn't explicitly say so, but he looks impressed. ]

I drove the vicious Huk away from my homeworld when they sought to invade and enslave us. I earned my position there as General and Demi-God.

I learned the art of lightsaber combat from a former Jedi and he taught me all of the many styles. I can adapt to any form and fight.

All right, I'll upgrade you from "might have been" to "definitely was" a terrifyingly competent General.

Especially being able to adapt - I mean -

[ Shrugs ] Lightsaber battles aren't a frequent thing on Nar Shaddaa, but. I'm being completely honest, here. Being able to pick all of that up is very impressive.

And. Well, more to the point - being able to pick up skills like that must be handy for this place, and protecting Nova City, too.

I am equal to an army of Jedi.

Nova City will not fall or fail under my Guardianship.

Well. It's too bad I'm not living there yet, General, or you'd definitely have my vote.

Though either way, you'll still be protecting the city, won't you? Since you're planning on keeping on as deputy Guardian.

I will, and aid the connecting cities also, when need be.

I believe all can vote. You do not have to live in a particular city to show your support to others.
