[sidon, having arrived and feeling as though he had taken a page right out of the champion link's book, was dumbfounded and amazed at his new surroundings. he couldn't believe that he had arrived in some completely different space than the zora's domain. after link had freed vah ruta, he thought nothing else could ever excite him as much.

but now? he had awakened to a new home, a new surrounding, and he wasted no time in attempting to get well acquainted with the area. he swam around in the bay, he walked the streets, and he was amazed by all the new people and races. it wasn't just zoras, hylians, gorons, rito, or gerudo anymore! it was so lively, so plentiful! sure, he would miss his domain, but he believed that the hologram wasn't lying to him and that he would return one day.

think of this as a min vacation! really.

so, what he had gathered was that there were factions of cities and that each place had a designated guardian. splendid! he was so excited to see the culture of this place and see how that would all play out.]

Greetings, fellow citizens of Genessia and beyond! How are you? Will you give me but a moment of your time to talk? My name is Sidon, prince of Zora's Domain, how nice it is to meet you all!

[he smiled at the camera, his teeth shining.] What a fascinating place, and I have been chosen to be one of the people?! Exciting, thrilling even! Of course I would want to check up on my home, Zora's Domain, but I know it is in good hands and any threats have been calmed.

So I ask you! What makes a guardian so important to you?! I wish to know, truly, because I believe I came here at a very precious time!

Mm-hm! She's the Princess, and we're gonna save Hyrule, her and me.

[This wasn't exactly a secret. He had a note from her saying as much.]

She asked me to help because she's not allowed to leave the castle and her dad wouldn't listen to her.

[And she apparently had a dream about him.]

Good heavens... just what is going on here?

[this is all weird, like really really weird.]

Young man, can you tell me as much as you can about Hyrule? The one you are from?

Um. Sure!

There's the forest where I'm from, there's Lake Hylia and Zora's Dormain---Princess Ruto lives there with her father. She didn't mention a brother, but, we were kinda stuck inside Lord Jabu Jabu for a lot of our time together, but, that's because Ganondorf cursed Lord Jabu Jabu...like he did the Great Deku Tree...

Anyway, there's Kakariko Village and Death Mountain, and that's where the Gorons live, and Darunia made me their brother after I killed the Dodongo that was blocking them from all the good rocks they like to eat. That was Ganondorf's fault too.

[Link tapped his fingers as he spoke. Most of Hyrule was brand new to him, having lived his entire life in the forest until this point. He loved it so much, and he didn't want to skip any good details, but, it was a little overwhelming.]

Oh, and Castle Town is awesome! There's a market, and there's a Bombchu Bowling Alley, and an arcade where you can shoot targets, and the Happy Mask Salesman just opened his shop and there's all these masks you can buy and try on!

AND there's the best place ever on Hyrule Field---Lon Lon Ranch! They have cows, horses, and cuccos, and the cows make the BEST milk EVER. The horses are super nice! And Talon and Malon are super nice too! I made friends with a horse there too, her name is Epona, and Malon taught me her favorite song. She really likes it when I play the ocarina for her.

[Link grinned happily. He thought he'd done Hyrule justice, since he'd already talked about Zelda earlier. The castle was boring, and once he gave Zelda the Spiritual Stones and she fixed it so Ganondorf couldn't get the Triforce, he'd sneak her out and they'd play in Castle Town for a bit.

...if Impa didn't catch him.]

[sidon listened quietly, for once, to the explanation that link had. it was so confusing, completely, but all he could gather was that link was really telling the truth. this link was from hyrule, and the hyrule that he knew was incredibly different from the one sidon was currently from.

maybe... this link was from the future? or the past? he was most likely an ancestor of his best friend. that was all he could gather, and he hoped that he was correct. it was time to ask him one final question to see his response:]

And now let me ask you, do you know of Calamity Ganon? I will tell you about my Hyrule in due time, but I simply need the answer to this question before I proceed.

[Link frowned and shook his head slowly.]

No...unless that's something Ganondorf is calling himself. He is King of the Gerudo, but, I haven't heard of a Calamity Ganon, or, uh, anyone call him that.

Young Link, hear my words. This is but a theory but I believe it to be true.

[sidon sounded serious, extremely so.] I believe that you are an ancestor of my other good friend Link, the one I currently know. We are both from Hyrule, but from vastly different times. Are you following me so far?

I--I guess so.

[It made sense, in a way. There were people in this world from so many other worlds, different Times didn't seem too far fetched.]

If that truly is the case, then I see no reason not to treat you as dearly as my other companion. Do you too wish to be a hero?

[he feels the need to become very close to this young man. he must protect all the links!]

I guess so? I mean, I really want to help Zelda keep the Triforce away from Ganondorf. If we do that, we both save Hyrule and we'll both be heroes, right?

Yes indeed young one! While I may not be as equipped as some heroes, I will not give up without a fight, most certainly!
