Bath House Party!

What: A bath house party before the date auction party!
Warnings: 18+ females only! There is public nudity, but please try not to do anything you wouldn't do in a public setting. Anything that gets smutty has to be taken outside Genessia. Rough housing shouldn't get more extreme than splashing, a hug (with ooc permission), or a cannon ball, will update if necessary!

Mirajane had been so busy making preparations for the date auction, the bath house, and hiding after that whole ordeal with the mask, she hadn't been seen for the last week or so. She was fond of the way she used to be before losing Lisanna, so she kept the mask as sort of a memento of those times, but she knew many people were probably a bit surprised to see that side of her. Such thoughts were for another time, she stood at the doors to the bathhouse, putting a sign up at the front of the guildhall with a series of arrows to point the ladies to the bathhouse who might not know their way around the guild.

She looked at her little list and frowned. Arelen probably wouldn't be able to make it since she was sick, and some people didn't sign up, so she wasn't sure if she had too many towels or too few... well Gwen had promised she'd be bringing some. She just hoped she'd remember to ask Erza about that Tutu for the girl since she seemed somehow genuinely interested in the silly thing. The baths were hot and prepared, large enough to accommodate a few dozen ladies, but she very much doubted there'd be quite that large a turnout. Let's see... her list was Karla, Gwen, Arelen, Rose, Belle, Erza, Mavis, Sarah Jane, and Eva. She'd hoped to ask Rose's Yokai friends to come, but she hadn't seen them. Oh well, best get started anyways!

Mirajane's FFA (Free For All/Open To All)

[There's a buzz of conversation going on now that everyone's relaxed a little and seem to be getting the hang of the bath. Some stick to the corners in a bit of social awkwardness, some are just using the bath as a large and warm pool, floating on its surface, and some like Mirajane are busily washing their hair.]

Would you mind helping me wash my back? I'll help you with yours in turn.

[Quite a bit of a tradition to wash your friends back where she comes from, but not a bad way to get socializing about any little thing. She just hope that Rose doesn't canonball right next to her.]

[Erza would have no problem doing this sort of thing with any member of the guild - besides, she's been meaning to talk to Mira about something, and (in her mind, at least) there's no better time to do it than when they have nothing to hide.

As she washes Mira's back, Erza takes a few minutes to bask in the sounds of the guild having a full bath house again. This was one of the more relaxing experiences at home, and she's grateful that Mira decided to set this up. That gives her more of a reason to follow through with what she wanted to say.]

About the start of the month... I don't know what came over me, but I can't apologize enough for how I acted.

[Mey-Rin had read and heard about this bath house and grew curious of it. So here she was, enjoying herself before the auction date thing, with her glasses over her head this time revealing those seem-to-be deadly eye. She kept a towel in front of her for secure. She didn't quite felt bold to expose herself like some of the girls. But hey, they are free to make her open up.]

Ahh...

[She sighed happily as he rested by the side of the pool, cuddling her towel.]

This is quite refreshing.

Sakuya really didn't pay the other guests any mind. They really weren't worth her- wait, was that another maid?

She paused to look a moment longer. It was! Well then. Okay.

Weighing her options, she finally sighed and began making her way over to Mey-Rin, slipping down into the water next to her. First human interaction of the day, right here.

First impressions were always important, right? "... Hello." Dammit!

[Mirajane walked by the side of the pool with a tray of tea. She was wrapped in a towel for modesty sake since she wasn't in the water at the moment and didn't want to unnerve her guests too much, though she was certain Erza could take care of that for her.]

Would you like some tea? It's important to stay hydrated when you're in a hot bath for prolonged periods of time.

[Which was yet another reason why she wasn't serving alcohol in the baths. People were allowed to bring their own, but they'd have to wait until after the party if they wanted her to serve them liquor.]

Sakuya FFA/OTA

Sakuya went to the bath house because... well... It was something she was going to get out of this whole dating auction thing. Nudity didn't really bother her in a setting like this. And the water would certainly be relaxing. However, Sakuya was being her usual antisocial self, sitting in her own little corner of the bath-house and enjoying a drink or two (regardless of if any were offered or not.)

Feel free to come bother her. Being naked meant she wasn't currently armed (in theory) and so approaching her was (theoretically) safer than usual.

Mirajane had not seen Sakuya sign up for the event, so she was a little curious about her. Not that people who didn't sign up weren't welcome to attend, but she didn't necessarily have a towel for them unless they'd signed up ahead of time. She kept a certain distance from her since some girls could be pretty shy in the bath even if they were sporting a towel for modesty, which neither of them were doing. She smiled warmly, and offered her a friendly wave.

"Hello miss. I'm Mirajane and I'm the hostess of this bath house party. I just wanted to make sure you're enjoying the baths and wanted to know if there's anything I can do for you. I do serve tea, although any liquor you want served to you will have to be at the bar rather than the baths. You're welcome to drink any you've brought though!" Which she knew at least one or two of her guests had already planned to do since they were of the opinion it just wasn't a bath house party without it. She just hoped she could keep Erza away from it... otherwise she'd have one hell of a headache to deal with.

Karla FFA/OTA

Even though Karla had been made aware that women would actually be bathing naked in a public bath, and she had been given a towel to bath with, this was turning out more...awkward than she had anticipated.

She simply sat in the bath, looking down, fidgeting her hands in front of her, and trying not to look at anyone else nude...

Unfortunately for Karla, Erza has no shame when it comes to group baths (or most things, honestly), so she'll be working her way over.

"Doesn't this just feel wonderful?" Erza stretches out, far more relaxed than she usually is.

Mirajane had wanted to make sure to become good friends with Karla because the poor girl didn't seem to have that many people she was all that close to in Genessia. She was really very sweet though perhaps a little quiet which was probably one of the reasons why she only had one or two close friends. She knew Karla was a bit hesitant about coming because she seemed like a kind of shy person to begin with, and nervous about the idea of a party where nudity was the norm, so when she spotted the woman in the bath? Mirajane was absolutely overjoyed.

"Karla!" She practically tackled Karla in a hug... well not quite tackle since she didn't want to accidentally knock her towel loose and make her embarrassed, but there was a bit of bumping sensation as Mirajane wrapped her arms around the girls and tugged her backwards into a hug. Depending on how Karla wrapped her towel around herself would likely determine how awkward this hug might feel for the poor girl, because Mirajane was very much in the nude, and her bare breasts were pressing into Karla's back, towel obstructing her or not.

"I'm so happy you made it! I was worried you might be too nervous!" Which... all of this probably wasn't at all helping Karla feel any less nervous, but Mirajane's good sense sort of went out the window in favor of friendly affection.

Erza Scarlet | Free-For-All/OTA

[Erza might not be a social butterfly under normal circumstances, but if there's one thing she loves at this time of year, it's a warm group bath. Admittedly, Mira had made it very clear that some of her traditions, like skinship, had to be cast aside for tonight, but she was still glad to see the guild having a bustling bath house, like it did back home.

Stretching an arm above her head, she lets out a sigh before looking around the room to see if anyone looks uncertain.]

Come on in! On a cold night, there's nothing more refreshing than a good warm soak!

[She's enthusiastic about this, to say the least. Not to mention shameless - she's got no problem being naked in a setting like this.]

Ayame Sasaki | OTA

[ Ayame couldn't respond at the time Mirajane had announced this gathering in the network, and when she had the chance, Ayame felt it was a little too late? She wasn't so sure what compelled her not to respond to the invitation, but she showed up anyway. She remembered the date of the event: December 15th, and her conversations with Erza about finding the time to visit their guild in Fayren. ]

Part I:

[ Ayame can be seen wearing her usual kind of attire, having gone from Genessia instead of her store here in Fayren, which is closed every Fridays. Upon appreciating the place from the outside and snapping a couple of photographs, Ayame knocks on the door before entering and politely introducing herself to the host or anybody she encounters. ]

Good evening. It's a lovely place you have in here.

Part II:

[ Whether in the changing rooms or in the baths themselves, Ayame isn't feeling shy about baring her entire body among a throng of strangers, nor does she feel shy about it. Onsen are popular in Japan, especially where she came from. Not to mention she was raised as a soldier where communal showers with other people was normal. With a modesty towel draped along her torso down to her thighs, Ayame greets the person next to her with a nod and a gentle smile ]

Hello. I hope you don't mind if I have a drink or two in here? It just seems perfect to go with the pleasant atmosphere, and the lovely company.

Part 2

[Erza nods back, glad to see that Ayame came to this. She isn't even bothering with a towel, though that's less because of traditions back home and more due to Erza being Erza.]

You'll have to supply your own, but as long as it's one or two, I've got no problem with it. There will be drinks at the party afterwards, though.

Sarah Jane Smith || OTA/FFA

After the long week at work and all the shopping and dealing and everything, the bath party was something she was honestly looking forward to. New experience aside, the thought of a relaxing bath and good conversation had been at the forefront of her mind all day. So much so that she simply picked up a familiar bathrobe (really fashions in the modern times did not suit her tastes) from the store and headed straight over.

She'd brought fresh clothes for afterward as she still had a certain fluffed haired man to take to the auction, but aside the bathrobe there was going to be nothing between her and the lovely water.

Which felt absolutely amazing as she slipped in, letting the steam and opaque water cover her up to the neck. She leans back and just enjoys it, but of course she is aware enough for anyone coming over.

Mirajane was making her rounds to make sure everyone was enjoying and behaving themselves. The last thing she wanted was for someone to have brought in their own alcohol, offered some to Erza, and have the girl throwing swords all around the room in a drunken haze of maddness. That probably wouldn't happen... but it never hurt to err on the side of caution and offer tea.

Mirajane sat fully clothed beside Sarah Jane, not having dipped into the bath yet herself until she was certain on who would arrive or not. She offered a tray of several tea cups towards the woman which sported a variety of different tea blends from earl gray to green tea. "How are you holding up Miss Smith? I brought you your choice of a complimentary cup of tea if you'd like."

Mavis Vermillion | OTA

Mavis enjoyed warm water: baths, hot springs, it didn't matter. She always did. But for the longest time, when she was more of a ghost than anything else, she hadn't been able to truly enjoy it. So this was actually the first Fairy Tail Bath House Party she was able to enjoy in a long time. And she was immensely grateful to Mirajane for organizing this party.

Mavis was not body shy. She had lost count of the number of times she had bathed naked in lakes or rivers with Zeira. ...Zeira. Too bad her friend had left Genessia before Mira and Erza arrived. She would have loved how lively Fairy Tail was these days - even if she might have complained about it too - and she would have attended this party without a doubt.

The blond girl had tied her long hair into two pony tails for the occasion. She entered the bath house wearing only a light pink towel with sakura flowers wrapped around her naked body.

She dipped a toe in the pool to test the waters and sighed happily. It felt heavenly. She left her towel on the edge of the pool and, without wasting any more time, got into the water.

"This is perfect," she murmured to no one in particular.

"First!!" Of course, Erza is thrilled to see her guildmaster make an appearance. After everything they went through before to get Mavis to have a warm bath, she's glad that Mavis can get the full experience once more.

"I'm so glad you could make it! Is the water warm enough? Can I get you anything?"

[Mirajane was always thrilled to spend time with her beloved guildmasters, but she knew how much Mavis had struggled with being a ghost and not getting to enjoy the baths. In many respects, Mirajane had come up with this party idea as a little Christmas present for Mavis, so when Mirajane saw her kicked back and relaxing in the baths?]

Master Mavis!

[She couldn't resist smothering the smaller woman in warm, tight, hug. She was so happy for her! She could enjoy the baths, she had her true love living by her side, she had Fairy Tail, she was a prominent and beloved member of the community, and it couldn't happen to a nicer person. Mirajane snuggled Mavis in her arms for another moment or two before laughing and remembering where they were and how they were dressed. This was not exactly the same as when Mirajane rested her head on Mavis' lap, and confessed all her problems like if she was her mother. There was a time and place, and she didn't want to embarrass one of her favorite people in the world.]

Oh Master, I'm so happy you made it! I really wanted to do my best to impress you. Would you like me to help you with washing your hair? I know I can take hours with mine sometimes, and I don't think I have half as much as you do.

Rose Tyler FFA

A pink and yellow blur goes streaking by and Rose takes a fully naked running headstart; belying any and all safety rules and bathhouse etiquette and god damn common sense about not running on the edge of wet slippery tiles and takes a giant leap on the edge of the deepest part, tucking into a ball yelling "CANNONBALL!" which is all the warning anyone in the vicinity will get before being splashed with hot water and suds.

Bathhouse etiquette and common sense be damned indeed.

As Mavis finds her face and hair suddenly covered in hot water and suds, her reaction is only to start laughing, good-naturedly.

"Hi, Rose! Glad you could make it."

Mirajane could barely register what that whirlwind of pink and yellow streaking by her had been... until she heard the cry of cannonball.

"ROSE DON-" Her cry of protest clearly fell on deaf ears, as Rose had only cried out cannonball when she was airborne, and the resounding splash managed to soak Mirajane, her kimono, and the tray of non-alcoholic drinks she'd hoped to serve. Welp... she hoped Rose was thirsty... and liked the residual taste of bath salts.

Sopping wet, Mirajane placed down her tray with an exasperated sigh, and tried to wring out her kimono.

"Everyone... This is Rose... Rose, this is everyone." At least master Mavis was taking all this with her usual good cheer.
