[ When Shirou opened his eyes, he found himself in a completely strange new world that's definitely not the Fuyuki City he knows. While he knows certain details on what happened to him after panicking for a bit thanks to a certain hologram, he's still kind of surprised that such a thing had even been possible. (Despite being a survivor of two wars where everything was.) Either ways, he had decided to see this new (old, really, but it gets really confusing quick) world for himself and took it upon himself to wander around.

Even if he knows what exactly he wants to be, and he knows what exactly he'll become, what comes between is the only blank Shirou has in his life right now. The man in red didn't exactly leave him with everything, just the important checkpoints in the life known as Shirou Emiya. Which meant that since they're no longer the same person, it's up to himself to fill in the blank with whatever he does. If it involved protecting that strange world from what it's going to become, then so be it.

Either ways, time to fiddle with his smartphone, since he's pretty lost on where to go, what to do even with Weiss' video explaining everything to him. ]

Alright, I think that should do it... [ The feed turns on to a red-haired youth staring at the screen,
looking a bit awkward as he's not used to this thing. ] Didn't know phones are this advanced nowadays, but that's for another time, either ways.

I'm aware that this place is safe and that there's no way home, so I'm just asking around to see if anyone's met a girl called Rin Tohsaka? [ Though if she's here, she'd be yelling at him already, anyways. ] She's normally the honor student type, but can be pretty fiery if she wants to. Anyways, another question, does anybody have an idea on what eateries are hiring right now? If I have to work, I'd prefer if it's something I'm good at. [ Gotta hide the fact that he's a mage for now after all. ]

[another new face, huh? he wondered just how many people came from different worlds or planets. the name sounds like something he'd hear coming out of Wutai. granted...at this point from what he's read in the Genessia Library, it's come to his attention that these kinds of names are more... [Cloud hadn't been looking up eateries when he was job hunting at first, so he can't help with that. sitting at his table, his expression is calm. he's only a couple weeks in to living here, and despite the rocky start? it was true. settling in here was easy enough.]

Hm, trying to think about hat places do, but the ones I know are more...western I think the term would be.
