Anyone seen a guy dressed up all in red getting into ridiculous situations? Yeah, that guy. Mouthy troublemaker. He often causes a scene so someone must have seen him. I doubt he can hide or keep quiet for too long. This joke has gone on for three days now and I think that's long enough.

It sure would be a fine arrangement for me for a Jedi to tag along for bounties, bringing some criminals to justice while I collect all the red bills as payment. After all, you only need the Force to sustain you.

Which is true. But it's not exactly a Jedi's place to take a planet's law enforcement into their own hands.

It's everyone's responsibility to keep the street's safe. Read the newspaper.

That would make these Guardians obsolete, don't you think? Besides, if everyone deals out their own version of justice, there would only be chaos.

The Guardians have their job. The police of each city have theirs. Bounties are put there for the rest of the crimes that haven't been dealt with.

I don't question that system.

[It profits him, after all, to have so many bounties available. He doesn't ask why the Guardians don't take care of it all.]

I believe it would be better to not spread out the responsibilities too far or too much will keep slipping through.

A strong police force should be able to cover all the day-to-day matters without having to rely on the assistance of private individuals.

Are you trying to put dozens of people out of a job?

Well, I'm certainly saying that the system here is very flawed.

Especially if these Guardians and Deputies rely on keeping peace via intimidation.

You don't know much about this place yet, do you.

I know that I received several unprovoked warnings not to mess with the Guardians and their underlings.

If this is how peace is maintained here, something is going very wrong.

And you think that you have the answers to clean up these wayward cities.
