Uhm... Hello.

[ Adela turns on the video in her room, where she's sitting on the bed and practically buried in blankets. She also has her large bear of a dog (a Tibetan Mastiff for those informed on the breed) sitting docile beside her, curled around her for clear warmth, but it doesn't seem to stop the red head from shivering regardless. If the fact that she still seems cold in spite of everything doesn't seem right, perhaps the fact that the only light seems to be natural light from outside may be the tip-off.

Regardless, she seems uncomfortable, sighing before before shaking her head and rubbing the back of her neck with her free hand. ]

My name is Adela, and I thought I should at least introduce myself.

[ She pauses, frowning away from the camera. ]

I suppose I should say 'nice to see you all again', but if you knew me before I am unlikely to recognize you -- whether you were a friend or not. Uhm, not unless the name "Nautilus" is familiar to you, at least. So... I suppose I wish to apologize for that. For what pain it may cause because I have forgotten. Or have never known in the first place? I do not know quite how that works. Just know that this is not the first strange world I have awoken in, and I do not know if it will be the last.

If I may pose a question for the rest of you though, how do you pass the time if you are in one place for a while? Whether you can leave or not. And I do not mean the cities themselves -- I mean inside of a building, like one's home as an example.

It's fine, there are cities that would surprise people, Fayren had been one of them as it's like a fantasy RPG there for me, which is amazing.

I... I am uncertain I know what you mean by it, but I will have to see it for myself.

What of Everglade? What sort of place is that? I have not yet had the chance to view a movie, so I am afraid I do not understand what you mean by referring to it as a "horror movie".

It means it's supposed to be scary and has creatures like zombies, werewolves, vampires, and creatures of the night.

Does that help any?

... I am unsure. I am afraid I have not heard of any of the things you have described to me, truth be told.

I can try and describe them a bit if you'd like?

I would like that. It would probably be better to know of them now than to find out about them the hard way later -- I have already had more than my fair share of experiences with monsters I was unprepared for.

Okay. Let's start with vampires.

[She nods slightly.]

They are creatures who feast on the blood of humans usually, maybe other animals who knows about that. They have pointy fangs and usually hate the light.

How is that so far?

... They seem quite frightening just from your wording for them, but I think I understand. Light is a good way to defend oneself against a vampire then, in case it is needed?

They are meant to be as they are used in things like horror movies.

[She nodded slightly.]

That is one of the ways, the others vary depending on stories. Same with the light actually. But if you find a friendly vampire maybe asking might be the best bet.

Well, considering that I would only react in such a manner if under attack, I feel such a vampire would see no threat from me.

[ A pause. ]

They may even see help, if I was asked. If that truly is how they eat, well... We surely do not need all of the blood in our bodies at any given time, even if we do need it.

[She nodded slightly.]

True, we only need so much blood, but some vampires might not ask and just take.

And those are the type who I would want to defend myself against. But I think we are starting to go in circles, now.

[ She can't help a silly smile at her own comment, but it doesn't take long for her curious expression to replace that smile again. ]

What of zombies and werewolves?

We are at this point.

As for werewolves, they are humans who turned into a human/wolf hybrid during full moons. I don't quite understand the why behind that though.

Zombies are humans who have died and then are reanimated through various means.

... It sounds like zombies may be easier to deal with than the werewolves.

[ Without thinking about it she holds one hand to her shoulder, squeezing it. ]

Perhaps... On another day I may find the courage to explore it, but until I am at least prepared for such a venture it sounds like it would be for the best to avoid it.

Zombies are slow, so yes much easier to avoid. Werewolves could be quite fast if you are prepared for it.

[She nodded slightly, that did seem like the best idea at least.]

It is best, I mean if you are the fighting type, probably would be okay regardless, but if you aren't it is a terrifying thing.
