I can't say it is quite what I was expecting to happen... [As she starts to record, Padmé offers a wry smile although there is a air of alertness to her features as well. That grogginess is all but gone, although she does wonder after it, just as she does wonder to all that she as been told. Yet there is curiosity there, and a willingness to listen despite the means of her arrival just a short time ago. Diplomacy first, as always.]

At the moment, it would appear that my options are limited. I do admit that I haven't been planet-bound for any great length of time, unless there were reasons behind it. Reasons beyond kidnapping. Typically work, if I am being honest.

[Her voice is soft but also has a strength to it. Those brown eyes are drawn away from the feed, regarding the sky for a moment. Skies that hold no meaning to her, at least as it stands, but skies she can understand, to an extent. She does begin to speak, her focus still out there on that great unknown, wondering just what lays beyond... Yet her gaze is drawn back and she gives a little nod of her head, before making eye contact again.]

I offer greetings. My name is Padmé Amidala, a Senator for Naboo- that is my planet of birth, for those undoubtedly unfamiliar with same. It seems, if I am to understand correctly, that we are all in this situation together, if what Weiss Schneeto has said is true. And, as such, no doubt it would be best that we work together, to aid and co-operate with each other.

Since it appears I will be here for some time, I would be interested to hear more about you, your experiences here, and the place that you call home, for any willing to share.

[There is a genuine warmth in her voice and her smile grows. Every situation needs to start somewhere, and for now, she is fine learning all that she can both about this place and about the people here. She will build from there after]

I would, of course, speak of my own as well, for those who wished to hear of it. I am curious to see just how far a reach this place has, and whether Naboo or Coruscant or even any of the other planets that make up the Galactic Republic are known to anyone here, as the galaxy is a very expansive place, to put it mildly.

Hello, Padmé, I'm the Doctor, and you might be in luck, 'cos I'm not sure we're actually on a planet, hope that's some comfort.

[Which it may or may not, but he smiles sincerely enough, if... a bit like an overeager little kid. She did seem a bit put out about planets, after all.]

Welcome to Genessia, and yes, most of it seems to be on the mark, from what I've seen, but it's not so bad, it's int'resting, at least, haven't got to worry about getting bored, anyway, well, not if you keep busy.

Oh, and yes, a chat would be lovely, haven't been to Naboo, always interested in new planets, sort of a traveler, myself, have been for, ooh, a long while, now, 'tho this place reaches way beyond just a galaxy.

[...which he says as if a galaxy's really not that big at all.]

Whole universes, different points in time from dissimilar histories, bit complicated, I know, but y'get used to it. Don't hesitate to give us a ring if you need any help settling in at all, though, I'm here to help.

I'm Captain Han Solo. Corellian but my family's on Coruscant these days. Solos and Skywalkers...not sure if either rings a bell but that's us.

There are a few of us here. Just be careful...I don't think they can all be trusted. Some were on another side back home. They're staying peaceful here but I keep my guard up anyway.

Um this place is bringing us from all different times...I have a feeling it might get a little confusing the more you learn. I still can't keep it straight at times.

[The person on the feet is undoubtedly...not a person per se, but a droid. But he's looking at her wit interest and what it seems to be recognition.]

Naboo is not unfamiliar to me, Senator Padmé Amidala. But I admit I never visited it myself. You must be from my Galaxy, it's nice to meet you.

[... doctor who? Although if that is what he prefers to go by, Padmé will remember that. She has other concerns at the moment anyway.]

If not a planet, then what?

[She's never seen an asteroid like this before, or any other body.]

And what is it that makes it interesting for you?

[Given the wide definition of what interesting can be, as it also varies from being to being. After all, Padmé herself finds politics interesting, but others are less apt to do so.

Her look does turn quizzical as he continues, moreso as he does keep talking, trying to wrap her head around what he is saying. Different... points of time?]

It sounds a little more than a bit complicated.

Skywalkers?

[Which is the first thing that does come out of her mouth, before she does back track for a moment.]

I fear I haven't heard of you, although I am familiar with a Skywalker. Anakin?

[Although Ani has never spoken about him, let alone he seems to use it in the plural tone. Arguably, she technically is a Skywalker now, given that she has wed Anakin, but they both know that such knowledge is secret. It is why she is regarding him with a piercing look. Not unwelcome or unfriendly, but a little wary.]

And what other side are you referring to?

[The Separatists? Or... Well, she is not even going to speak about Sith.]

There are those who do reside here naturally, are there not?

[Her appearance does earn a look from Padmé, although nothing outlandish or caught off guard. The galaxy is filled with many different species, and Naboo itself is home to the Gungans as well as her people. But, Padmé can't say that she has met anyone that looks quite like her.]

A pleasure as well, Lady Scarlet- or is it Deputy Scarlet?

[Although her brow does furrow ever so as she mentally skims over the information that she has learned so far. Although a smile smile tugs at her lips.]

I can't say that I typically seek to cause trouble.

[Although it might find her from time to time.]

Not entirely sure, possibly a pocket universe, but just look around, people from different universes, different points in their own universes' timelines, blimey, I'm here from three points in mine, so, interesting question right there, why just me, why not, say, three of you or anyone else? Well, I change quite a lot, so, I s'pose this place sees my older and younger selves as dif'rent people, which means something about it can draw boundaries, it can distinguish, say what makes you different from somebody else, recognize you--a place that recognizes people, I'd say that's pretty interesting, for starters.

[And that's just the first thing that popped in his head.]

Seems like it wants to take care of us, as well, even if it... slips, occasionally, well, who doesn't, now and again? We're only human, well, no, actually, just you, I s'pose, but the sentiment still applies.

[There is a mingle of emotions on her face. Surprise, amusement, concern. Yet she pauses, mouth open for a moment.]

[But it is clear that it is him. He just... She eyes him, lips slightly pursed. His hair... is a little longer, and is that a scar? He looks... more mature, possibly? The hint of warmth is in her eyes though. She knows that he is very talented as a Jedi, although not always the most articulate.

[She can't say that she is familiar with the exact model, but Padmé is familiar enough to assume that it is a droid. Which is confirmed moments later when he speaks. He seems to look at her as if he might know her, although perhaps she is reading too much in to it. She can't recall having met him.]

[She is typically quite good at following conversations, but it does take Padmé a moment to work out what it is that he is saying. Not the universe part. That is confusing enough on its own. But the whole, I'm here from three points in mine. She does always listen to what others say, but also makes up her own mind as to the information provided.

His... is a bit strange, but the whole situation is.]

A pocket universe. Have you much experience with them?

[Still trying to work out the whole change quite a lot, so she turns back to that, seeing if she can get clarification.]

[ And he's already moving. Running, really, even making use of the Force to increase his own speed.

The video connection fortunately disconnects after a few moments because this is hardly a way to have a conversation. And he really wants to actually see her. To embrace her. He hasn't seen her for months even before finding himself here, and now... Now Padmé is here!

At any rate, trust the prospect of having his beloved wife back in his arms coupled with a sudden fear that she might just vanish again before he gets there make Anakin move even faster from wherever he has been. As a result it won't be long for Padmé to be able to actually spot the Jedi Knight running up to her. ]

[That feels like a cue and himself already did the technical explaining so - have a smile and wave]

[She can't help the staring, those dark eyes regarding him. Given what some others have said, does that mean-? There are many questions on the tip of her tongue, waiting to be ask (why is his appearance like that? how does he know where she is? did he just arrive... or how long has he been here? and how? she was just with him) but she is mindful enough to hold them, although the questions remain in her eyes as she nods.]

A pleasure to meet you, Madam Senator. My name is Django. I only just arrived but I got to ride on a massive dog monster as someone saved me from the blizzard we've been experiencing. Besides that, I don't have any real experiences to speak of. This place does seem to be rather well organized. So there is that in the positive column.
