21st - Winter makes public proclamation as queen forbidding any Schnees from trespassing into Fayren, declares hopes to make a peaceful reign with the help of Guardian Mavis, all who swear fealty are welcome to enter; those who rebel will be arrested and imprisoned.
22nd-30th - Team B makes plans for a second strike.
31st - Final Showdown

Despite the weather predictions in the newspaper...predictions that were seldom ever wrong...the day was not met with sunshine and a smattering of clouds. The temperatures dropped severely, and a bitter wind swept through the towns. Sleet pelted the rooftops, then hail, driving people indoors.

Then a heavy blanket of snow began to drift down, sealing up the bald patches of grass, icing the streets, and piling up higher and faster than seemed wholly natural.

By noon, the whole of the realm was steeped in at least a foot of snow, if not more. It sloped against doorways, weighed heavily on rooftops, and lined buildings with toothy, shining icicles. To the shock of the few townspeople that dared to venture outdoors in the unbearable weather, they saw that the royal structure had been completely covered with a thick sheet of ice that sealed the drawbridge, the windows, even the arrow slits. Stranger still, the castle was completely silent. There were no sounds of soldiers, no captains barking out commands.

Investigating the castle uncovered some unsettling sights. A man near the back was frozen solid with a pick in his hands, undoubtedly attempting to break the ice that sealed the castle. Another person stood close by in the familiar robes of the Ivory Tower, fingers outstretched and mouth opened as if in the middle of an incantation to throw magic fire to melt the ice. It should have been clear to even the dimmest of dimwits that trying to break, thaw, or remove the ice around the castle in anyway carried dire consequences.

By evening, the troops began to move through town - creatures molded of snow and ice were by far the most numerous, but there were also ice trolls, enormous polar bears wearing elaborate platinum armor, even mischievous rime fae. All of them roamed the streets, particularly the bears and trolls that always moved in pairs, and seemed to be openly patrolling. Anyone who defied them were suddenly flash frozen on the spot by a bolt of blue light that stabbed down from the pearly gray skies, and carted away, seemingly back toward the castle, but none truly knew their final destination.

An undercurrent of fear began to spread through the town as more houses were frozen over -- no one could say whose house would be encased completely in ice, but those who fell victim knew the cause just before they were frozen solid.

No one was allowed to defy the new reign of the Ice Queen. No one was allowed to speak ill of her. Either they agreed to continue their lives under her rule, or they would be punished. And that was all there was to it.

Re: C TEAM - Fake Stealth Team (Tsukasa Kadoya, Ted Satchel, Sync, Smoker)

[Ted gets put on the team to be as attention-drawing as possible. Wow, they sure know how to pick them! Time to put his penchant as the world's most annoying man to work. He's not sure how seriously to take things, so for now he still looks like he always does: clownish. But he's sporting the 2-star goku uniform, which allows him to do things like giant-swing a troll. With stunning speed he rushed behind, gripped by the ankle, and spun like a top, launching it up and away.]

"Out you go, reprobate! The rest of you can fetch him, if the stench doesn't dissuade you, haha!"

Screw it. Doing the thing to help things move.

[ How annoying. Adela can't help her snarl, and in part is thankful for the helmet she wears hiding such a nasty expression. Not only has one man (Tsukasa) dared to use some form of magic against many of the guards, but now this ostentatious man sees fit to attempt making a fool of the trolls? Unacceptable.

Already having enough of such blatant nerve, Adela steps forward and uses her own shield, launching it with unnatural accuracy towards Ted. After all, it seems Lucky* is already taking care of Tsukasa (not that she knows him by name), so it is up to her to handle the others the best she can. It is then that her magic changes its shape, intending to bind the legs of the man with unbreakable steel grip. Of course, this may involve her using the metal to chase the man around a bit, but she's not about to let him get away so easily. If nothing else, she can possibly guide him into the club or sword of one of her allies. ]

Have you cur had enough of making a mockery of the queen's wedding day? You should be so lucky if she decides not to have your heads for this treason.

[[ OoC: *Assuming this conflict as I remember it being stated OOCly in plurk, let me know if that isn't the case anymore though. Also yeah... She's had enough of Ted jumping around apparently. Would also like other guards to jump in if possible here! ]]

A wild grill *and* Captain America impersonator appears!

[The uniform covers all the would-be superhero basics, including the usual super senses. Like super reflexes! He pretends to still be busying himself taunting and taming the trolls, before sharply turning around to leapfrog over the sailing buckler.]

"Wiser to keep this by your side, you-OOF!"

[His cheery jeers were arrested by a snowy face-plant as the metal bound his legs. Reflexively he struggled against the steel prison encasing his lower half, but despite a few encouraging creaks, it availed him not. The trolls found their courage again, seeing him so entrapped. A cruel, toothy sneer spread as the pale-blue beast raised its shillelagh.]

"Hah! What, no more jawin'? Nothin' clever ta say? Maybe yer insults are all locked up in your head. It's all right; I'll let 'em out!"

[The club was raised, then brought down to smash out what little brains Ted had. And yet, it met only the stony ground as Ted nimbly rolled away with his hands.]

"What! Hold still!"

[Their aim got worse as their blows increased, with only the tremors of their clubs upsetting Ted's deft movements. He laughed as he rolled between them, eventually finding his footing purely on his hands. With the gymnastic agility of a monkey he clambered upon their arms and armaments, swinging and looping with newfound glee. One arm tried to pry him off, so he raised his legs, still wrapped in strong steel, and brought them down to shatter the troll's arm with an impossibly forceful impact.]

"AAAAAGGGH! MY ARM! HE BROKE MY ARM! WHOSE BRIGHT IDEA WAS IT TO MAKE ITS FEET A CLUB!"

[Their cries won them no pity as Ted continued to navigate with his upper body alone. He'd never been forced to move and balance this way before; what fun! He pushed off another oncoming swing, then used his aerial momentum to spin his metallic limbs into the head of another troll, sending it down to earth and down for the count like Goliath.]

"Haha, cretins! I attend the gym, you know! Even half a man is more than enough to contend with the likes of you!"
