(1) Action or Video - an unsteady awakening
[Action]
[The sensation of sleep. That was a borderline unknown feeling for the figure now waking up. Elves didn't sleep, not normally at least. But the grogginess the purple-haired woman was now experiencing... It could be mistaken for little else. And that was terrifying.
There was a weight on her chest, and the padded surface she was in... It was not like the storage she'd been held in. It wasn't quintessence-sleep, meant to hold her, beyond the ravages of time, for untold millennia. But... The box. The box first. Which had... A few oddities. She dared not put a possibly cursed necklace on, she wasn't that foolish. Then there was the pamphlet. Which... Explained less than she would like.
At least all of her gear seemed to be with her, still. That left pocketing the items, then stepping in the water - so glad her boots were on, even if sleeping in them should've been extremely uncomfortable - and stepping out to... A Hologram. A white-haired woman who could probably have passed for nobility back in the Empire. Who provided more explanation.
And which, ultimately, left her one key point she would have to resolve. Which... Well, trying the phone's network thing might help here. Unless someone happened to bother her as she slipped the phone out of her pocket...]
Hello. This unit is new to the Genessia region, and is not adjusted to the very different level of technology that is here from this unit's previous home world. The provided directions for use of this phone were useful, at the least, though the sort of magic that must power it is... Well, not this unit's specialty.
This unit could use some general guidance, and possibly assistance finding an appropriate master or mistress to follow in due time. This unit is aware that some people will find that phrasing disturbing; please understand, it is this unit's programming and nature to be a follower and support. However, its now-nonpresent previous master was very clear that this unit should not rush the decision of a master. Hopefully, this will allow me the opportunity to follow someone saner.
This unit can also answer questions as to its own abilities, for the curious, though it is unsure where to start on description thereof. Where DO you start when the technology level's different? Is healing magic still a thing here?

insanity.]For a master, I recommend the Almighty.
[He pauses, laughing. As if it were that easy.]
But we can start smaller than the Omnipotence, if you'd rather. Does "this unit" have a name?
Re: Video
[Wow, she went to the shutdown REALLY FAST there. Does she have bad experiences with cults or something???]
This unit's designation is Gynoid Support Unit 24. Per it's name, it is designed for healing and other combat support roles, with various other capabilities on top.
Re: Video
Interesting title. Would you tell me about this Metadivine? A description of its dogma, perhaps?
Twenty-four...goodness, what happened to the other 23?
[He's cautiously optimistic that it'll be something fine, like "they're assigned to other things", not "they were scrapped for being unworkable prototypes."]
Oh, yes, I am curious of your capabilities, whatever they are. Please, in as much detail as you like.
[Can never have enough healers.]
Re: Video
Status of other units in the Support line is unknown to this unit. Which is normal, as such units are deployed across the empire. There are at least seventy to this unit's knowledge; tracking them all would take too much time.
As for this unit's capabilities, it provides healing magic, combat support via martial techniques centered around sword-and-shield forms, and appropriate attendant skills such as horsemanship, care of horses, psychological aid... The list goes on.
Re: Video
Hahaha! That's what I get for asking after a robot's religion! Oh, good Lord--the actual, mind! Haha.
[He's very content to talk of the utilitarian anyway, despite the vulgar horror she just described.]
Oh, do go on. I don't mind an inventory; you're in no danger of boring me.
Re: Video
... You're trying to laugh to emotionally hide from the fact that what this unit just described is absolutely horrifying, aren't you?
This unit is acutely aware of the objectively screwed-up nature of the situation, it assures you. This does not significantly impact its ability to betray its programming, which in context of this unit's ability to maintain functionality, probably qualifies as a good thing. Given what this unit knows about this place, it figured honesty was a better policy.
If it helps, feel free to think of the Empire as the bad guys. Who lost. Very, very, very badly. "Messily erased from the flow of time" badly.

This unit?
[ Konoka's first thought upon hearing this person speak was Chachamaru. But nothing about her looks suggested 'robot'. The screens were good enough quality that she was sure that she could have picked something out. ]
Well um, do you have a name?
Also did I hear healing?
no subject
And yes, you did hear healing. This unit has significant capacity in that area.
no subject
What are your healing abilities like? I'm also a healer, so knowing what everyone is capable of is pretty important!
no subject
... This unit is uncertain why it knows so oddly specific a technique, honestly.
no subject
Sounds exciting!
[ Konoka was meeting so many other healers lately! It was making her regret not taking over Heals on Wheels while she could, but that was the past, especially with Castlevania messing up her motivation.
But... ]
But what do you mean by "fifth circle"? I've been training to heal a group of people at once, but I've never been able to practice it.
no subject
This unit will have to doublecheck its memory and write out all the different spells it has active access to. And possibly maneuvers. That would be a good idea.
Maybe a chart of techniques it knows but does not have the power to cast yet would also be smart.
This unit would consider it something to be thankful for that you've never needed to practice healing a group of people at once, though.

Action
In that sense, the way he got excited when he saw someone new entirely selfish. He hurries over, waving awkwardly, with a friendly grin on his face. Finally, he can feel a bit useful today!]
Hello there! Are you new, Miss?

[He is briefly thrown for a loop, but recovers quickly. There is a lot in that statement that Shi does not understand, but he can tell this stranger's questions deserve more attention than his.]
It's a lot to take in. I wouldn't have believed there were other worlds either, until I came here. [Shi holds out his hand.] My name is Shi. I can try to help you out, if you don't mind?
no subject
[The woman moves in to take Shi's hand in a polite handshake. Her grip seems like it should be much stronger than it is - there's definitely muscles in the hand, but she's refusing to use them to make a sure, confident grip.]
This unit was planning to simply get to the Commons first; the fact that a room is prepared provides a good start point, allowing this unit to establish its situation properly, and then figure out other concerns. Such as finding an appropriate master.
no subject
Then why don't I show you the way? I can try to answer your questions as we go.

Is it correct to assume that this place is not precisely a typical adventuring society, full of ruins to investigate and the like?

[Fai would probably know anyway, so he figured he should at least help in some way.]
As for where you should start, start by explaining what our technology was like in your own world?
Re: video;
But that's just a surface scratch, so...

Re: video;
Then again, this unit would say that, wouldn't it.
video;
So going to new worlds that are vastly different is different and a big change. It also however makes it more interesting.
