[Baymax cycled to awake and listened to the hologram of the woman tell him what was going on. Processing it for a moment, he toddled upright as he located his charging station. Whoever brought him here was kind enough to bring it.

Picking it up in both hands, he began toddling out into the cold, analyzing the weather. If coming across someone, he would also greet them in his standard greeting.]

Hello, I am Baymax, your personal health care companion. Are you in need of assistance?


Hospital
[Tadashi programmed him to work in a hospital, and that is what he would do. However, with no concept of employment, he waddled into the building, holding his charging station. From there, he would wander around the Emergency Area, applying medical care while the nurses tried to get him to stop.

But Baymax was determined, as he offered a child a lollipop.] It will be all right. There, there.

[Alessia was well bundled up against the cold, having been out for a walk near the Bay when he had approached her.]

Did you just get here?

I have come online in this place. I have uploaded the information provided to me, by I fail to understand the reason.

[Baymax blinked, slowly for a moment before he asked,] Is there a reason why I need to be here? My primary function is a health care provider.

[Alessia just shrugs, picking at some imaginary lint on her coat.]

If there's a reason we've all been brought here then no one's felt like telling us yet.

[Looking back up at Baymax she decided that introducing herself would be a good idea since he had already done so.]

That seems, highly illogical. People have families and duties in their world.

[He nodded, once, as he held up a hand in greeting.]

I am Baymax. I believe it is supposed to be a pleasure to meet you, Alessia.

Hospital

[Orihime comes to the hospital after closing the bakery, when she can. She worked here to earn enough money to sustain herself for a little while and to build her reputation, now she continues as a volunteer. She doesn't have the education to qualify as a true nurse, but she can work as an aide.]

[And that means being sneaky about using her powers to heal the people who are in the worst condition, working her way down to take care of as many people as she can before slipping back home, eating dinner, and crashing into bed.]

[Today might be the best day she's ever visited the emergency care ward.]

[Having completed her rounds, she's working her fingers over a stiff shoulder when she spots the big white bubbly robot, and her expression brightens.]

A ROBOT!

[One of the nurses shoots her a stern look and Orihime claps her hands over her mouth, embarrassed.]

Yay!

[There, that's quiet enough, right? She edges a little closer, not wanting to interrupting his time with the little kid. Hopefully he doesn't mind having a big robot fan close at hand for a while.]

[Despite the nurses having mostly given up trying to stop Baymax from completing his function, he tightens the bandage and gives a robot equivalent of a smile before straightening up.

Noticing Orihime, he toddled over and held up a hand in greeting.]

Hello, I am Baymax, your personal health care companion. Are you in need of assistance?

[Shi pauses to stare at the... He has no words for what Baymax is. A Spirit? But he can see him, so... A Kami? Then again, there are other worlds. Baymax could be anything.

Hearing Baymax is a health care companion, Shi looks at his cold, bare hands.]

No. I'm okay. You don't need to worry about my health. Thank you, though.

[If Baymax is attention to the details, he might notice that Shi is essentially a corpse. He can't regulate his body temperature and his body is barely functioning.]

[But while Shi was speaking, Baymax was scanning him and the results were alarming.]

Scan complete. How curious. Why are you deceased? Your brain activity is active, but your body temperature is below the function for a human being. Your vital organs are barely on the cusp of function. You should not be alive, young man.

[Baymax had no idea how to handle this. How do you handle a boy who barely reads as alive? Solution: call medical aid.]

This kind of experience is outside my function. I will dial for medical aid.

[stillsmiling]

[ OOPS.

Throughout the analysis, Shi is flailing. Literally. As if that might change what Baymax can see. ]

Ahhh, no noo! No need to do that, Mr Baymax! The truth is, uhhh I-I'm an actor a-and I want to be in a zombie movie and it's method acting!

[While this excuse may seem dumb to the rest of the world, Shi thinks it was really smart.]

I-I must be a really good actor if I could fool someone as smart as you, haha..!

Medical Assistance dialed. How curious, I cannot get through. They must be busy. Attempting again.

[But Shi's frantic protests made Baymax pause.] I am not aware of any method actors who could slow their biological processes to such a dangerously low level. Updating my files.

Treatment prescribed: a warm hug will warm your body to a better temperature. [And he toddled forward, glowing warm red.]

[ It had been a relatively quiet day in the hospital, all things considered. Things were fairly mundane for a while, which Sertoria didn't mind the peace and quiet.

...However, the moment that she sensed a different presence in the hospital is what gave her some pause. She had to admit, his presence was certainly interesting to the angel and it's there that she decided to at least greet them.

Baymax would soon be greeted by the blond-haired angel, dressed in naught much but a tunic, sandals, and with an assortment of jewelry on her person. She offered him a wave and a gentle smile in response. ]

Hello. Are you new here?

[In response, he would hold up a hand in greeting, a tilt of his round head as he said,] Hello, I am Baymax, your personal health care companion.

I have recently come online from the pod and have made my way here. My primary function is to heal the sick and needy. My creator does not appear to be on the network, nor is his brother. The Hamada Brothers, Tadashi and Hiiro.

[Baymax held up his charging station.] Is there a place I may plug in?

I'm very serious about acting... [And lying, apparently.

Shi refocuses when Baymax mentions a hug. There's a moment where he looks honestly flustered. If Baymax does actually hug him, this kid's eyes are going to start watering. He's not used to getting hugs, since he let his sisters die.]

It is all right to be upset, away from a loved one, or possible family member. There, there.

[Folding Shi into a warm hug, he patted the zombie kami kid on the head.]

Your body is responding to the warmth. Temperature is steadily rising.

[though it was probably because Baymax was glowing red and warm.]

It is a pleasure to meet you, Baymax. My name is Sertoria. [ Personal health care companion...? That was an interesting title to go by. She listened to what he had to say before nodding a bit. ]

There should be an empty exam room, if you would like some privacy. I would not mind showing you to one.

[ A pause. ]

I will keep an eye out for both Hamadas for you.

[Baymax logged in Sertoria's name and began a scan while they chatted, and he added,] Thank you. But I would not want to use up an exam room for my own purposes. Simply a plugin will do.

[Baymax however paused at the mention of both Hamadas.]

Tadashi cannot be here, because Tadashi is gone. But he is also here. Tadashi's will keeps me going, as his intent of healing the sick still remains. Hiiro however, will be lost without me.

[ A plug in... Well, that's easy enough. ]

There should be some unused plugs around. Is it just a standard electrical plug that you have?

[ What he says gives the angel pause and she ends up frowning a bit in sympathy. Sertoria knows quite well the sting of loss, what with having to watch those she cares about die again and again. ]

I am sorry for your loss in regards to Tadashi. I... know what it is like to lose someone you care about, Baymax. I would not mind helping you look for Hiiro, though.

[Baymax nodded as he held up the plug.] Yes it is.

Tadashi is never truly gone.

But I will require help hooking into the new network, to keep a look out for Hiiro. My wireless systems are reading as incompatible at the moment.

[ A nod and then Sertoria leads Baymax to an empty exam room, as promised. She pushes a few of the gurneys out of the way for him to have enough room to charge in. ]

You could try to hook your phone in a port, if you would like. I think that would be sufficient enough to be wired to the network to see if Hiiro arrives.

[Baymax toddled over towards the wall, and placed the charger down. Then, he adjusted it. A little more. A little mooooore. There. And then he plugged it into the wall.]

Understood. I will sync my systems to the phone. [His chest flashed with different addresses as the phone in his possession flickered several times.] Download complete. Thank you. I have not found Hiiro in the cities of this world. He would want me to use my skills to heal the sick and wounded though. I also know karate.

It's unusual to find someone that Koishi had no psychic influence over. It wasn't every day that Koishi got to meet a robot.

And she'd never seen one as squishy as this.

And so, even before Baymax was able to greet her the little youkai dropped out of the sky from quite a height, slowing herself at the last moment and attaching herself to the Robot's chest in a big squishy hug. Tentacles and all.

"Hello there! I'm Koishi! I like hugs!" Hopefully there's a crowbar nearby.

"Hello, I am Baymax. I like hugs too." replied Baymax as he was hugged. How curious of a person! He was going to scan Koishi and add her to his patient list for a moment before returning the hug.

"Are you in need of hug therapy? I have been informed it is a legitimate therapy."

[Orihime takes note of his favored greeting style before mimicking the same. It's only polite! So up goes her hand. She can't stop smiling, and isn't even bothering to try to stop.]

[Did he really say he's her personal health care companion? A healer to watch over the healer?! No no, that would be too good to be true.]

Oh no, I'm in tip-top shape! I just came by to pitch in and lend a hand. You too?

[ Another nod was given in response while the angel smiled at Baymax's words. Her lips curved into a thoughtful glance as she moved a hand to rub at her chin in quiet contemplation. ]

Hopefully he will come here soon. It is quite lonely without anyone you know. [ Speaking from experience? Her? Perish the thought. ]

We could always use doctors and healers, which is what I am. I am sure that we can find a use for your karate skills, Baymax.

"Hug therapy is the best therapy!" Squeeeeeze!

A scan would reveal biology completely unlike that of a human. Lots of dense muscle and rearranged organs and weird internal pockets. Probably where she kept those tentacles. Not to mention the strange readings he was getting from her biological makeup in general. It was all wrong... for a human at least.

Also she was flying without any wings or apparent tech. Unusual for sure. Also her eyes glowed.

"I'm happy to see you. I can't sense your head so I bet you're a robot too! I love robots!" She was finally letting go of Baymax, tentacles sliding back up into her sleeves. "And robots that give hugs are the best ones of all!"
