[ After successfully Not-Tomb Raiding and getting payment for the most recent job (and Lucy hoped that the herb was actually going to work for that poor girl) it was time to do some well earned shopping. Not alone though, Neveren, the youngest member of Fairy Tail (kinda) was accompanying her. Her first stop is picking up some cooler clothing for herself and the kids since Regina was busy on a job herself. Next she stopped at a toy store, where she picked up something for him and herself. Her last stop was at the ice cream shoppe before heading back to Feyren to the guild. ]

[ Satsuki stares at Lucy for a moment. She doesn't recall asking about his punctuality, but sure why not.]

Greetings, Nev. It would serve yourself, as well as others, well to improve upon your lack of punctuality. 'Better late than never' can only take you so far.

[She then looks back to the blonde woman.]

I was not aware that you allowed members so young. I suppose it is open to anyone whom can perform magic, then?

[ Both Lucy and Nev look confused at Satsuki's comment about punctuality. O..kay then? Lucy patted Nev on the head. ]

Not exactly. Nev and Justyne don't know magic - but you might say we sort of adopted them into the guild, Natsu and I.

[ Which of course leaves Lucy stuck trying to reassure Neveren without upsetting him more because it's not like there's anything between her and Natsu! Nuh-uh. nope! ]

[Well, Lucy tends to end up in embarrassing situations in public often enough. Clearly it's being done on purpose!

Um, oops. Ok, Satsuki will take the blame for that one, it wasn't the smartest idea to bring that up in front of a kid.

But really, who in their right mind would leave a kid with Satsuki? ... Unless it was for military school or something. That said, she tries to help with blatant a lie.]

You misunderstand, I was merely referring to [Um] a bet they had made. Someone as laid back and shameless has no chance of capturing Lucy's heart let alone successfully interfere in the blooming romance between her and Natsu!

No, love that strong is impervious to any sort of interference, even to bullets! Do you understand, child?

[ Goodness knows Lucy would never leave Nev with her! Who knows how Satsuki would influence him. Terrifying. In any case, Lucy (who most certainly was not ending up in embarrassing situations in public on purpose!) facepalmed at that attempt to clear up the misunderstanding. Nev was young though, and gullible to boot. So he nodded slowly. ]

[ Except not really. He glanced between Lucy and Satsuki. ]

"What was the bet?"

[ Yes Satsuki, what WAS the bet. Lucy is no help in that regard, 'oh my god'ing under her breath. ]

[ ... He would ask that, wouldn't he? Unfortunately Satsuki isn't entirely certain what kind of things the members of Fairy Tail would make bets on.

All she can think of is the pool party. What do they do at pool parties, um.. Um..]

Who could wear the smallest swimsuit.

[ . . . sadly that is probably one of the things they would bet on. ]

[ Lucy had recovered enough to try and intervene in the bizarre conversation, shooting Satsuki a befuddled, 'Really??' look. ]

"But I wanted to know who won? Was it Mr. Gray? Because he was walking around without clothes that one time.. -"

N-Nevermind, Neveren~!

[Hey, it makes complete sense to her. Mind, she'd never allow something like that in her quarters but, different strokes for different folks. She's starting to be done with this child, though, so bless Lucy for reeling that one in.]

Never mind indeed, there is something else I wished to ask about.

It would appear there is discussion of the guild house being reformed into a school. I was curious what your thoughts on that are, Lucy.

[Because.. Well, let's face it, Satsuki thinks it is a disaster waiting to happen. But she's a little more lenient to Lucy's opinion since she's normal.. Ish.]
