[ LOCKED from Satsuki, Nonon, Gamagori, and Kazuya ]

[ Okay, Ryuko doesn't look very happy. Actually, she looks pretty irritated. Watch out folks! ]

All right, I usually don't ask other people for advice. [ Ever. ] But I've got a problem, figured maybe somebody could help me out.

See, I've got a relative here. 'Cept she doesn't remember that we're related. Said she wants "proof." How the hell am I supposed to do that?

Yeah, the whole thing's messed up.

[ She sighs. Long and drawn-out. She settles back a bit before continuing. ]

While I've got you all here, somebody clear something else up for me. I heard about some mandatory, evil school being started up by the guys running Nova City. [ She's figured out that the "crazy girl" part of the duo in charge is Satsuki, which is honestly the only reason she's interested. ] Does anybody have any more information about that?

[ She's about to switch it off, but then adds in, completely as an afterthought- ] Oh, and thanks.

{Satsuki is quietly enjoying a cup of tea when suddenly her shoulders tense up, which prompts her to raise a kerchief to her nose.]

Memory is a very malleable resource in humans, even more so here. The chances of you "making" her remember you are slim and none.

From what I get, it's got somethin' to do with... this place taking her from earlier. We didn't always know we were sist- er, related. So she hasn't found out yet, and I have, but she doesn't believe me.

Knowing what I know about her, then you would be better off simply forgetting about it for the time being.

[More stubborn than a Shuckle.]

That's not an option.

There are some humans that simply aren't worth the effort. She seems to be one of them.

[ he has no advice for the relative issue. it makes him think about the fact that he's "related" to aang and how he's thought better of telling the avatar and his friends that roku is his grandfather, because he doesn't have any way of proving it. the crown sozin gave roku could've come from anywhere. they'd probably think he pulled it out of the vault.

but his lone eyebrow shoots up at the mention of a manditory school. ]

School?

[ he's done with school. technically. had he not fled the palace and joined up with the avatar, his private tutors would've been reinstated, as there was always more for the crown prince to learn about running a country, foreign affairs, etc. but he hadn't stuck it out long enough to be hovered over while he had his head buried in scrolls. ]

This is the first I've heard of it, but I also just got here. [ a frown. ]

I haven't heard much about it. I just got here, too.

[ She froooowns. Man, she could match Zuko in a frown competition. ]

If they make it mandatory... [ he narrows his eyes, his lips curling into a sneer from their previous frown. the prince snorts. ] Mandatory or not, I am not going back to school.

...You know, we usually do have to go to school. [ He looks about her age, anyway.

But jeez, even as much of a delinquent as she is, even she still went to school. ]

I went to school! For a while. After that, I had private tutors and instructors that were available at my convenience.

[ oh, he's a teenage delinquent alright. in his own conflicted, rebellious, traitorous way. ]

Ooo, fancy. [ She doesn't actually sound impressed. It's sarcasm. ] Well, us common folk have to go to public schools. Not much use in fighting that.

What I'm interested in is why people're calling this school "evil," and what makes it so special.

I didn't say my education was any better than yours. [ he pulls a face. ] You got to go to school with other kids for longer than just a few years. A "fancy" education doesn't usually involve friends. Just your sister and her companions.

[ zuko very nearly groans at the memory of being surrounded by girls in his youth, as there weren't any boys his age at court for him to play with. just girls who liked to throw rocks at turtleducks, do cartwheels, and tease him relentlessly. ]

Probably nothing. Unless someone really is out to set up a school that teaches people to be bad. [ which is... possible, given the circumstances, but he's trying not to be gloomy. it's not a good look on him in spite of being one of the more common ones. ]

[ Well, Ryuko has a little idea of how evil a school can be. She attended Honnouji Academy, which her sister founded, after all. Although there's no reason for a place like that here. ]

Yeeeah. Hopefully nothing. But people sure seem to be getting worked up over nothing, then.

We've been kidnapped. They're probably more worked up over the possibility of being forced into something else on top of being unable to return to their homes.

DNA test?

[ SUDDENLY RYUKO IS STANDING UP the video showing her flipping her table as she does. ]

It's Kirishima Kano! Don't worry about it. They probably have the technology for that in most of the cities.

Where I'm from, blood tests are the best way to get the proof they ask for.

[Seemed kind of logical when you think about it, but as for the second question she pauses.]

I heard about it, but I wasn't paying all that much attention to it to give you anything.

[ Ryuko's already gotten the crazy reaction to the idea of blood tests out of the way. Now she's just looking vaguely irritated. ]

Seems like nobody's paid it much attention.

[ She can't tell if she's irritated because she can't get any more information on it, or if it's because this means everybody was ignoring her sister. ]

I know some did and there were replies at least.I wonder if thus thing can show things that happened on these things in the past. It would be quite useful, don't you think?

I'm sorry to hear you are currently having problems with a relative. I can't say I know of anything that can help, but I do hope one day they will trust you enough to believe your word alone.

[ She scoffs. ]

She seems content to ignore my existence now.
