Truth to be told, when Koda woke up, it was a disorienting thing.

He almost literally busted out of his pod in a wild panic, the sensation of ice creeping from his body a familiar one. The cold of the awakening caverns made him hunch over in a nervous way. Where was Kendall? Where was Keeper? Chase? Anyone?

He listened to the hologram, before straightening up. Another world? Like another Ranger World?

Clutching his chest, he checked it and found his Blue Energem sitting there. Another motion and he drew his Dino Blaster. And his Dino Sword. So everything was here. He could even sense the presence of the Stegosaurus within him. So his Zord made it too? Kendall said they follow him anywhere, and it had helped him in the past.

COLD was another thing, as he stumbled out the cavern into the cool of the weather. Food and fire, food and fire is first. Dog not good eating. Chase told him not to eat pets.

So, finding his money, he stumbled into the first burger place and slapped his money down. All of it. "Bronto... burger, rare please." He said.

Twenty minutes later, Koda had managed to obtain three or four burgers, and the rest of the cash was pocketed safely. Now for fire.

Climbing a nearby tree, he ripped the branches free and piled them up. A little shoestring which he didn't wear shoes cause he didn't like shoes later, and he was working fire into a roaring flame in the middle of the park.

"Is... not as cold as home," said Koda thoughtfully. Pulling out his Dino Comm, he got nothing but static. But maybe the other device...

While Koda was not oblivious to Kaitou's approach, his senses were too keen for that, he continued to focus on his fire.

Fire good, as Chase once rumbled. Fire kept people alive, and he had no concept of temporary housing. What was home?

Once he sat down, he warmed his hands on the fire and took out a burger, chewing on it with a pleased noise.

He was certainly acting like someone like that and not a caveman from the distant past, which is what he really is.

Koda looked up at Kaitou for a moment, an inscrutable expression before he smiled widely. "Is warm, by fire. Come sit."

One would notice he isn't wearing shoes. They're sitting to the side, even though it's cold weather.

Enis took a lazy approach to her patrols. The incidents that happened in Genessia were singular and usually lasted a week or so. In between those incidents was calm and usually very boring.

That lead her to where she was standing now.

Vibrant blue eyes stared at the man with a dubious expression. They were in the middle of a the Genessia park, which wasn't very large, and he had decided to start a fire. Enis had no idea if there were rules for this sort of thing but it felt like a bad idea.

"Hey." She stepped forward, her arms crossing over her chest. "You shouldn't start a fire here." And she shouldn't have to tell you that...

Koda looked up, tilting his head. "But is cold," replied Koda, not really getting the fact that he shouldn't start fires in public places.

"And fire, keep people alive. There no reason, not start."

Enis rolled her eyes. "Yes and if you just arrived you're given a place to live for a month that has heats. It's far better at heating you than this is." This wasn't something she thought that she'd ever have to explain to anyone.

He didn't like the temporary hotel. It felt... cold to him.

[It could indeed be colder, but Ayla's time period was a touch more volcanic. As such she's made use of the towels in her apartment to supplement her furs, though she still keeps some belly bared in defiance of the chill.

Her hunter's nose catches the scent of the fire, and her immediate thought is that there might be someone like her here. It's a logical thought after all. However, as she bounds up she's a little annoyed to find Koda in the tree she's been using for her own perch.She leaps up the tree, halfway to Koda as her hair and somehow the tail on her furs bristle in annoyance.]

[ For a moment, Koda was surprised, but the wording and the primal scent around her indicated to him that she was like him, a cavewoman from another timeline. He blinked for a moment before his expression broke into a smile. ]

I am Koda. I did not realize, tree belong to strong cavewoman. I can go, eat my burger. Want one?
